I had a backed up drain along with 3 other plumbing issues I needed addressed. I called this place because the drain/sewer company I usually use doesn't do any other plumbing work - just drains/sewers. All Rick heard me say was ""backed up drain"" and sent me an emergency sewer/drain person from a separate company (who doesn't do other plumbing work) who arrived 2 hours later than he told me he would be here, and immediately told me,""Rick got too rich to clear sewers and doesn't like poop splashed in his face anymore."" Fine, that's fair. But why did you ignore my other plumbing issues? That's the whole reason I called you and not an emergency sewer company. He charged me $170 me to open my drain. Then he charged me another $130 to send a camera down to tell me that it was blocked by roots (I could have told him that since that is a recurring issue in my area). He then told me it would be $700 at a separate appointment to cut the roots from my drain. Not to mention my other 3 plumbing issues are still unresolved.

If you need a sewer/drain opened and cleared, call G & C Sewer Service out of Eastpointe. I've been using them for 5 years for regular maintenance of my drains as, again, it is a very common issue in my area for roots to grow into your drains, especially if you forget to keep up with pouring copper sulfate down periodically. I wish would have just called them this time in the first place. They are punctual, polite, and will open and clear (cut out the roots from) your drain for $95.

Rick came to fix a blocked basement drain the same day I called (even coming later at 8). He did a thorough and great job, and properly cleaned up. He even made helpful recommendations to prevent the blockage in the future. I can now say we have a plumber, and I wouldn't hesitate to call anytime we have a future problem. Will be recommending Rick and his company to all friends and family.

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER! Rick came out to fix a leaking pipe in our basement. Several weeks later after using another bathroom in our house there was water flowing freely from a pipe he disconnected to fix the leak. A total mess. Have called numerous times over 5 months for him to come fix his shoddy work. He never came to fix it and stood my wife up at least 4 times after promising to come. Now, he has failed to respond to at least 5 calls and messages. Very disappointing. Should have listened to the bad reviews on Facebook and YELP.

Desperate for a plumber (as we had called another plumber who showed up 2 times after the initial consultation not prepared to work and left) We contacted Rich and he contacted us back right away. He was very polite, professional, and patient. The job we had was a difficult one and he was in and out in 2.5 hours. I'm so happy to have some new pipes and not be standing in ankle deep water when I shower. Highly recommend and will contact again for any plumbing needs.

I messaged this company during the weekend about a water heater leak. Richard responded pretty quickly and was able to send a general quote. He let us know that our water heater would need to be replaced and asked for our number. That was pretty much the last I heard from him. No one called us to schedule. It worked out in the end because we got someone to come out the next day that was able to install a water heater quicker and for less but it still confuses me why we couldn't just schedule and/or why they never contacted us as promised.

Was very impressed with the team at Professional Plumbing Sewer and Drain. I contacted them on Yelp and heard back within 20 minutes with a quote and availability. They were on-time and communicated well. When John actually got to the business of cleaning out our sewer drain he was very informative, helped us understand our situation and made recommendations, not trying to over-sell. It was very clear that they had the best tools and provided the feedback we'd never received from other plumbers we'd used. In the future we'll definitely look to John, Richard and their team for any needs we have. Couldn't recommend them fast enough to others. Great work and value!

Rick just left. Very responsive and professional, did a great job and I WILL CALL him again when I need a plumber.

Also, when I requested a quote via yelp he was the only one who provided a qutoe...professional. (All but one of the others just replied to call them and one said they didn't do sewers.)

Excellent company that does great work.
I was at a loss to know who to call for a dishwasher repair that I needed done, so I went on yelp to see if I could find someone. I reached out through the yelp message system and was contacted right away by Richard. He was very courteous and flexible with his time, was even willing to work me in at the very last moment! He came out and fixed my problem quickly and quietly, and was extremely professional. Since everything went so smoothly I didn't know what to except for the bill, but I was very happy to see he was extremely reasonable! Thank you so much, I found my new go to plumber!
