Jeff was prompt and showed up on a Tuesday morning to look at a stuck rolling gate at my remote cabin in the woods. By the afternoon he had sourced a very nice new set of metal wheels and made the repair. I really appreciated his expertise and promptness and professionalism. He has a full set of tools for almost any job you have. Here's a video of the gate sliding so easily after the repair. Thank you Jeff!

MY RECOMMENDATION IS: DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HANDYMAN/CON-MAN/PROFESSIONAL THIEF. We asked him how much he charges before he went out and he said he had to see the job. He charges $100/hr for shit nothing. He looked at the two problems we asked him to look at and he did not do anything to correct either issue.
Sadly, he took advantage of my wife who called him to get someone out to fix the Tenant issues immediately. He went to the location and did not fix anything. No Handyman here.

We asked Jeff to help with a couple of fixes in our older house in Camp Meeker. Like another Yelp user here, we found Jeff to be prompt with communication and response to job requests. He installed some new hosing and valve for our vintage gas oven, which work great. Overall, however, we were unsatisfied.
He was unable to install a smart thermostat and told us it couldn't be done (not sure whether this is true) and installed an alternative, very simple one instead. It works but it is not what we wanted and the smart thermostat was unreturnable. Further, he was unable to fix our heating unit. He charged us for time and parts to go to the hardware store twice because he got the wrong thermocoupler, which was also not returnable. I would have expected a professional handyman to bring the old one with him to ensure he got it right the first time. After we'd wasted several hundred dollars on that, he told us it couldn't be fixed.
Next we asked him to fix a leaky sink, which he was unable to do -- because when he went outside to turn off the water, he broke the shut-off valve. Water was gushing from the broken valve, which meant we had to turn off water to the entire house. (We later found out it was completely the wrong valve anyway for the sink.) Not only did he charge us in full despite this mistake, he also left a mess, including packaging and trash from parts on the ground and ripping a curtain out of the wall without telling us. After that, he informed us he ""doesn't work in the rain"" and would not finish the job! When we asked Jeff to recommend someone else to help us (we had friends coming for the holidays and would not be able to stay with no water), he said no way we'd get anyone due to the weather (??). Fortunately we made some calls and got both issues fixed the very next day with no mess. Apparently the gas from the heater had also been left leaking, which is dangerous as we have small children in the house.
All in all, several expensive mistakes and a disappointing lack of customer service for us.

We needed a fix for our front door that wasn't complicated and wouldn't leave us with no door for a week. After many calls and few answers from many inquiries to other contractors...we found Jeff was helpful, very prompt, and fixed the door with great ingenuity and effectiveness.

I had some electrical work to do, so I called Jeff Greene. He came out inspected and told me what I need to do. He wasn't able to do it himself, but recommended other people I could contact, I used his referral for PatchesIn a Day, Thanks Jeff, for coming out and referring me

Great plumbing resource. Quick, reliable and reasonably priced. Jeff helped replace a few corroded nipples and install our new sink. Works great!

I am so grateful to Jeff. I called him from a friend's house because its water heater wouldn't light. Jeff took the time to talk me through the steps and explained what I was doing wrong. Sure enough, it lit! He saved me hours of waiting for an emergency plumber (he was 1.5 hours away) and wondering whether I had to pack my two kids back into the car for a three-hour return journey home. Thank you, Jeff!

Jeff was great and fixed my issue immediately. Can't say thanks enough and you definitely want to call him!!! Jeff was responsive and diagnosed my problem perfectly. Thank you so very much too!!

Jeff was prompt with communication, but there were several areas he missed the mark.
- Several of the issues Jeff worked on didn't resolve the problem and we will need to find another handyman to fix these issues
- There were several errors in Jeff's work that we had to catch and advise him to fix.
- Jeff has limited attention to detail, often saying that's ""as good as it is going to get"" in regards to hanging fixtures and frames.
- Jeff charged us 1.5 hours for shopping, one hour before arriving, and another half-hour because he forgot several items (despite having a complete list of work to be done and a list we created the week prior).
I would hire Jeff for small electrical and plumbing jobs that don't require attention to detail.

I am so happy to have found Jeff here on Yelp! I posted the issue with my clothes drier, on a Sunday. He answered the request for help immediately ( even though it said his business was closed)! He was up front with his fee and his concerns about what the job might require. We agreed on a time the very next day ( I needed almost immediate help as I would be leaving for 2 weeks with guests staying here to care my dog and my home. ). He arrived on time, worked hard and fast, fixing the problem rapidly! He had to take the drier apart, piece by piece, he checked them as he went! He was very efficient and knowledgeable! He is very strong, offered to fix other things if needed. Before he left, we discussed several other projects I would like to have done upon my return. He is really an expert handyman, has been doing this work for 40 years in the Sonoma, Bodega, Dillon Beach area. He understands the coastal weather stress in these areas ( which is pretty rare). He is "" all business"", until he is done, then pleasant and copacetic. I felt that his price was very fair! Thank you Jeff Greene!
