Josh and Chris were phenomenal to work with. Not only are they fine men but they are skilled and hard working. We had a pot filler water line installed, gas lines run to our dryer and range, dryer vent repaired, garbage disposal installed, and kitchen faucet repaired. At one point I saw Josh looking around and I asked what he was looking for? He responded ""I'm always looking for the next thing I can do while Chris is working on something else."" Simple statement and I admire his mentality. No idle time. I was in the business of managing people for over 35 years. The exceeded my expectations. I'd hire these guys in a heartbeat. So glad I met you and worked with P&G. Forever a customer.
Emily B.I have been using Proctor and Graves since I bought my house almost 3 years ago and they've been my go-to's for several plumbing, electric and a recent AC install project this week. They're always very dependable and forthright about pricing and have amazing customer service. Not the cheapest or most expensive - right at a fair price that I trust combined with the skill. Josh is my plumbing guy and Chris and another did the AC - all helpful and considerate. I don't use anyone else and recommend them to everyone. I figured after about 8 visits on my fixer-upper, they've earned all 5 stars with flying colors. Highly recommend!
I am very pleased with P&G's professional service in repairing a water leak under my house. The plumber was very courteous and knowledgeable and corrected the problem in a timely manner. I will definitely call on them for my plumbing needs in the future.
My heating unit went out at the worst possible time temperatures was very low. This company was at my site very quickly and had my new unit up and running very quickly. The employees were very professional and well spoken. I would use this company again!
I will never use this company again. For years I used a local plumber whom I trusted for good service at decent rates. When my plumber retired I switched to this company because I saw them doing some work for my landlord. On a positive note this company was usually quick to respond to calls and the service techs seem to be decent guys. Unfortunately I watched our plumbing bills double, triple or more for basic repairs. And to make it worse, several times they had to come back out because the first visit didn't fix the problem. If my old plumber didn't fix the problem during his first visit he would come back and make it right for no charge. This company will charge you full price to come back and get it right.
On one service call I paid $825 to have a drain cleared on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't think the plumber had run the drain cleaner far enough. When I questioned him he looked me in the eye and promised me that he had cleared the pipe. Guess what, the drain backed up again first thing the next morning. They sent another guy and he cleared the drain. When I asked his opinion he told me the first guy hadn't gone far enough. I was billed for both visits.
On another service call the drain was in a hard to reach location and I offered to remove a wall panel for better access. The plumber assured me he could clear the pipe, from four feet away, without removing the panel. I should have known better. After ""fixing"" the problem he left. Fifteen minutes later the pipe starting backing up again. We removed the wall panel and removed the blockage by hand. I took photos of the debris he failed to remove and sent it to the company asking them to void the invoice. Despite having time stamped photos showing poor workmanship the manager insisted we pay for the service.
After these experiences I stopped using this company for repairs. I left a message with the manager asking him to review several invoices due to poor workmanship that resulted in multiple visits. I waited several weeks and no one bothered to call me back. Finally I decided which invoices I felt were fair and I notified them that I was sending payment. They called me immediately and said they would waive one of the smaller invoices. Against my better judgement I promised to send payment for a large invoice that I disagreed with. I sent the payment a week or two later and I thought that was the end of it. I was wrong. A few days later I received a ridiculous letter from their lawyer asking me to pay the invoices and an additional $500 in legal fees. I had already sent the payment per my promise...
This company will not accept responsibility for poor workmanship but they are quick to threaten you if you refuse to pay for it. I had no intention of writing this review but the letter from their lawyer was insulting and unnecessary.
