I'm at a loss and my yard is now sinking and no one will call or email me back. I don't really ever write reviews unless there are big issues. I have been using Proactive sewer drain for years for my clients and their properties and they used to be good. New ownership? I have no idea what's going on. I just used they them for my personal home and they have been an absolute nightmare. They got the insurance pay out, since have ghosted me and won't come back to fix anything that they messed up and now I have a sinkhole in my yard. They removed my fence and then didn't put back the trim to stop rocks from rolling out. They didn't put back all the Flagstone, so I have a random piece in my yard. That was never put back. They poured the concrete and didn't remove the wooden slats in two areas. I messaged/called them multiple times, took about two months to get them back out. The wooden slats were causing water to build up on walkway that would then freeze and turn into an ice-skating rink-death trap. They put the clean out in the middle of my yard instead of somewhere that makes sense down by the sidewalk. Didn't consult me on a preference of location, just stuck it there and now there is a sinkhole in my yard because they were supposed to come back and put in new sod and fix the sprinklers and they never did. When they were installing it, I asked him to stop and put it somewhere else down by the sidewalk. He confirmed that he could have put the clean out there, and avoided, ripping up any sprinklers or sod but it was too late since they already started. I can't get them to come back and now everything in the ground is shifting and they can't tell me if that's normal or not. I was on the schedule twice last month and they just no call no showed, I keep emailing and calling and getting back on the schedule and then they just don't show up or reply to my emails. I was supposedly on the schedule for last Monday, nothing. I work with vendors on remodel projects all the time, and I'm super forgiving, but no call no show repeatedly and getting paid $10k for this work is crazy. On top of that the sewer smell in our house has come back so I feel like whatever they fix temporarily has since broken again. Does anyone have any advice?

Proactive came out to assess my plumbing prior to some groundwork being done. They found two major pipe leaks (much to my surprise) but were able to schedule me the next day for the repair. All workers were friendly and professional.. I highly recommend this company.

This company was a nightmare! I don't leave reviews often, but this was a terrible experience. My home inspector hired them for me to do a sewer scope on a house I was in escrow for, while my inspector was also there so we could knock it all out quick - Sewer Scoping is a service specifically looking for obstructions, and if found to clear them as needed, which they found some obstruction they wanted to clear. Naturally, if they find and can fix an obstruction, you'd think they could repair them for an additional fee right then and there - not so, the tech with me said he could have if he had a different truck but he didn't have the tools with them, so I had to make an another appointment - and he quickly left without even helping me make a new appointment. I called in for a second appointment asap as we were trying to quickly close escrow, so I get to drive across town each time to meet them with my agent since I didn't have keys, and we all had to sit and wait again during the service window. First I got a new appointment via phone - but I was emailed later giving a different appointment window alternative for some reason. I replied to the email just a couple hours later accepting it, but then was told no appointment windows were available anymore, so I'd have to wait til the following week, after my deadline for inspection in escrow would have passed. I asked about my original appointment I made over the phone, and after more calls and emails back and forth they were able to honor it... Why was that ever an issue?? Lastly, they sent another scope truck out but this time with the tools to clear the obstruction, so I got billed twice to sewer scope (scammy), and had to have my RE agent and myself take time off work twice to go wait at this house for what should have been a one time job, along with a headache of a time trying to get my second appointment confirmed. Save yourself the trouble this company is not professional.

Proactive Sewer and Drain were awesome to work with. I had a break in my sewer line that I needed to get fixed. Not only was Proactive able to give me a fair and reasonable quote (that was $2k under what other companies gave me for a smaller fix), but they also were upfront with me as to what the cost would be if I ended up having to replace the entire sewer line (as opposed to other companies that purposely left that ""open ended"").

At the end of the day, if you want quality work at fair prices, with transparent and super respectful folks, trust Proactive!!

Also, April of Proactive was an absolute pleasure to work with!

I cannot express how amazing and honest this company is. I was purchasing a new home a few years ago and another company recommended replacing parts of the sewer line and fixing a broken tap. Proactive came out and assessed. They determined only the tap needed repair. They came and were able to repair the tap within a day. I also found their pricing to be competitive and honest. I had also recommended them to a friend and she had the same great experience.

Last week, I hired another company (per the recommendation of a contractor) to clean the line. The other company listed a few ""urgent"" repairs that needed to be replaced in the next week ($3K+). Proactive came out the next day, did a scope and determined these were areas that should be watched but didn't need to be replaced now.

I learned my lesson and will not go with another company again!

This a great company, and Phil is a great guy. We've got root problems and so, unfortunately, we have to call these guys a couple of times of years. Phil has even responded on Sunday when we had a backup and couldn't use any plumbing in our house. They are affordable and actually show up when they say they will be there, which is not very common for service professionals these days. I highly recommend using Proactive Sewer & Drain!

Using the service during a home inspection saved us on potential costly repairs later on. The tech explained what he saw while on site, made recomnedations, and provided the report including video quickly after inspection. Excellent service and friendly tech.

Had a great experience with both Chris, the technician who came out and scoped our sewer line, and the owner, Phil. After receiving the report I had some additional questions, but Phil took the time to really explain their recommendation and make sure that all of my questions and concerns were addressed. These guys are experts that really know their stuff, demonstrated a high degree of customer service and professionalism, and I would definitely recommend them for sewer scoping needs.

Awfull costumer service, rescheduled on us 3 times and on the last day we had available to have the job done never showed up. Said he wasn't interested on doing the job anymore. Phill was the name of the person we talked too. That's definitely not how to treat costumers or to run a business. I DO NOT RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I would give negative stars if possible.
