I hired Proactive for the plumbing portion of a bathroom renovation. Pat and his team were honest, reliable and professional. I live in a co-op so I need to jump through hoops with any construction work - Proactive has all of the the required licenses and insurance so approval was a breeze. I was quoted a reasonable price before the start of the job and there were no surprise costs at the end.

The job was been completed timely and the area was cleaned before they left each day. They took all necessary COVID precautions - so I felt comfortable having them perform work in my apartment.

Hiring a plumber usually isn't cheap - but with Pat you'll be able to trust that the price is fair and the job is done right. The results exceeded my expectations - I actually look forward to getting out of bed just to get in my new shower! I would highly recommend and will definitely be using them for any future plumbing needs.

We recently decided to replace our 12+ year old gas hot water heater. We contacted a number of plumbers and HVAC companies and decided to use Proactive. The price quoted was quite competitive. Patrick (owner) answered all of our questions and offered recommendations/options regarding brands, capacity, cost effectiveness, etc. Patrick's team arrived on the day and time specified and were professional, knowledgable and courteous. Overall, we are very happy with the installation. We would certainly contact Proactive again for our future plumbing related issues.

Was quoted 2x more than quotes from other plumbers. When I asked why to try to understand if there was a misunderstanding on the scope of the work, I got tons of attitude back. Was a waste of time.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They came to change out radiator valves. First of all, Philip cat called our nanny right outside of our door, which she ignored. When she came in and he was there, he had the audacity to make her feel uncomfortable about it and say she should have said hi to him because now they're in the same place. Then, they took 8.5 hours to do what was supposed to be a 4 hour job. In the process, they gouged our wood floors, hung wires without running them along walls, which is sloppy and just dangerous with our babies that are about to be walking soon. In the nursery, they put the knob for the heat right above the crib, which our son will be able to reach the second he pulls himself up to stand. Pat seemed nice/competent enough, but he only came in to tell them how to do the job and left.

Couple month ago we hired Proactive Plumbing to install for us a gasline, a hot water boiler, and a heating system. We are very happy with the work Patrick's team did for us. Patrick did it fast and very well. He is knowledgeable and very hands on. We also did some other maintenance repairers in the house with him and Patrick always was quick to respond to our emergency calls. We will continue using this company for future projects and regular maintenance. Very happy customers. A+++ job. Thank you!
