My agent from Realty Executives referred me to Proactive Plumbing to fix the high water pressure problem. I called at nine o'clock in the morning and Steve booked me for an appointment at noon. He showed up 15 minutes before my appointment which I thought was fantastic! My first impression of him was that he was polite, courteous and professional. I highly recommend this business!

I did some research and saw that these guys had great ratings and were nearby. Mike showed up and quoted me a fair price for fixing a leak and installing a new faucet that my wife had purchased separately. The job was a bit more difficult then anticipated, but he still kept to his original quote when he was done and did an A+ job. In addition, we have a 1 year old who was napping at the time and Mike and his helper totally respected that and went in and out of the house and up and down the stairs quietly. We barely even heard them. Without a doubt I have found a plumber that I can trust and will use again in the future. Stand up trust worthy guys.

The 5 star ratings were why I gave these guys a try when I needed work done. Steve not only answered the phone on a day they were listed as closed (Sunday) but came out and finished the (non-urgent) job that same day too.

We actually talked about it because he asked how I found them and he mentioned how hard they try to maintain the good reviews. I like that they care and are willing to go the extra mile. He even fixed a minor sink issue no charge because it was so easy (not easy enough for us to have figured it out!)

The 5 star reputation is well deserved.

It was such a pleasure to deal with Proactive Plumbing today.

We had a water heater installed from another company, and when they went to turn on the main line after they installed the water heater...nothing happened. He then proceeded to tell me that he couldn't fix the main line as he ""only installs water heaters"". He told me I would need to call a plumber to have it fixed.

So I looked on yelp and found Proactive Plumbing...I'm sure glad I did. Mike answered the phone right away and started trouble shooting over the phone before we even committed to have him come over. He told me he could have a guy out in about 30 - 40 minutes (which he came in about 20 min).

Steve was the plumber who came out to do the work. He did a great job, very quick and thorough. Once he replaced the valve on the main line he also checked our water pressure and even helped us turn on our water heater that the other guy said he would have to come back out to turn on.

Needless to say I would definitely recommend Proactive Plumbing to my friends and family!

I rarely Yelp but do check when I'm in a bind. I was today (Saturday) as our drain was backed up out of reach of my 25' plumbing snake. Checking Yelp I found Proactive and called. Mike answered immediately and said he could be at our house between noon and 2:00. He arrived at 12:30 - a good sign already. He took care of the problem with professional tools and professionalism. The price was extremely fair, particularly on a Saturday. There is no reason to use anyone else in North County. I put them into my Outlook file immediately and won't have to Yelp to find a plumber ever again.

As good as it gets in my opinion.

I emailed Steve regarding regarding replacing a toilet fill valve, installing a faucet, and a sewage smell issue.

His responses were prompt and detailed. He is knowledgeable and honest.

We decided to fix the toilet and install the faucet ourselves. If we hired someone, he would have been our first choice.

I never write reviews but feel compelled to do so because Steve was amazing! We called him Thursday night at 7:30 and he answered LIVE! We told him we had a leak under the kitchen sink and he said no problem, he would be there in 45 minutes. He showed up on time, in fact a bit early which was great since we had work the next day. He gave us a quote which was very reasonable and fair and fixed the leak in less than an hour. He even did a few extras like tighten the faucet and help fix the issue with our front door of all things! He was professional, friendly and cleaned up behind himself and let me tell you, we were so relieved and happy that we saw the excellent YELP Reviews and picked Proactive plumbing.

Incredible Service!!! Pressure regulator Stopped working on my house. Within 20 minutes they were at my house and replaced the regulator. They also had the best pricing in town. Great service, quality work and reasonable pricing... definitely recommend this company!

If you're looking for a good, reliable plumber, Proactive has all the qualities one looks for in a service provider: professionalism, knowledge, skill, and integrity. Mike and Steve repaired a leak inside our bathroom wall and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Call them - you won't be disappointed!

This morning (a Saturday), my wife said, ""Honey, there's no hot water. Would you go check the water heater, make sure the temperature didn't get moved?"" So, I walked into the garage and - oh crummy buttons! There's water leaking from the hot water heater.

So, I did some online research. I found LOTS of plumbers available, and even some who only do hot water heaters. But, one company caught my eye in the reviews because people kept mentioning the guys who are the plumbers: Mike and Steve. I figure that any company who is known by their guys has gotta be good, so I gave Proactive Plumbing a call.

Mike answered, and even though I could only speak in a whisper (darn you, throat inflection from the flu!) he took my info and promised to be here in about an hour.

About an hour later, he pulled up. He took a look at the situation, confirmed that I needed a new heater, quoted me a price and some options, and got to work. He worked fast, and (from what I can tell, but I know nothing about plumbing) did an expert job of replacing my water heater.

When he handed me the bill, the amount was for $125 LESS than he had quoted, plus he did some extra work that he didn't charge me for. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? A plumber who charges less than promised, and does more?!? Wowzers!

I think I've found ""my"" plumber for now on! Thank you, Mike!
