I was so happy with Proactive! I moved into a new house and was a little shocked at my water bill. They were able to install two low-flow toilets for me. Really nice quality. And the plumber really knew his stuff. No muss,no fuss, worked efficiently and left me with a clean space. He was very friendly and communicated well. Would definitely use this company again.

This review is way overdue, but I wanted to thank Mike, Miles and Steve for the great service that they provide at Proactive Plumbing!

We woke up on New Year's Day to a clogged sewer pipe. Toilets wouldn't flush, bathtubs filling with water and water from the washing machine coming up on the bathroom floor. It was a real mess to say the least. It was also the first day of the year and that means it was a day that most business were not open, even for emergency service.

Luckily I called Proactive Plumbing and got in touch with Mike who began to troubleshoot the issue. I told him all of the information that I had available and he said he could be over within the hour to try and get our plumbing functional again. We were so happy that he would take time out of his holiday to help us!

Mike arrived and quickly assessed the situation, got his equipment ready and started working. He was able to get our water to drain after battling a nasty root intrusion in our main sewer line. We were overjoyed to be able to use the water again without fearing a flood!

Mike also explained that this was most likely temporary solution to a larger problem. He was right. A quick camera inspection brought to light a failure in the sewer line where the cast iron pipe aligns with the septic tank. There was root intrusion and the pipe was not aligned correctly with the septic tank. He suggested replacing the last few feet of pipe that leads to the septic, so that the roots could be cleared and the pipe re-aligned with the tank. He also suggested we add an easily accessible sewer clean out, because our older home did not have one. His estimate was VERY REASONABLE. Best of all, he said that Miles could start the work the next day! I was really surprised, because January 2nd, 2017 was a Federal Holiday. Proactive Plumbing was helping my family on back to back holidays!

Miles arrived early the next day, discussed the repair with me and then started jackhammering the concrete sidewalk and digging. He kept me informed of his progress, showed me the roots that were removed, informed me of some new parts that were required and explained the repair in detail. I was initially concerned that the required parts may increase the estimate, but that was not the case. It was a much needed boot that connects the pipe with the septic tank and I was very happy to have new one installed. Towards the end of the repair, Mike and Steve showed up to assist Miles. I felt like we had the whole Proactive Plumbing company working on our house! I couldn't have been more confident in the repair and service the company provided.

I will definitely be calling Proactive Plumbing for any future plumbing issues and strongly recommend them anyone that is in need of plumbing repairs.

Proactive plumbing was super! they have great customer service. they came out for the first time a couple months back. had drainage issues again, and they came back to look at it and didn't charge us!!! they definitely stand behind their work. they will be my go to plumbing services from now on!!! Steve from proactive plumbing came to my house to fix a shower that stopped working out of the blue. I had called a number of companies trying to get someone out ASAP but most others did not even answer my call, weren't available for days or said weekend service would cost extra... Steve answered personally when I called, he texted me when he was on his way and was right on time. He was friendly, smart and was able to immediately troubleshoot the problem and fix it without an issue. He was great to work with and I will definitely call him with any future issues!! Great, honest company. Seriously!

Sent an email as shown on Yelp to get an estimate. 3 days later no reply. So I tried calling. No answer and the voicemail box was full so couldn't leave a message. Oh well ... picked another company. Their loss not mine.

I called in 2 time within 4 years to have a sewer backed up cleared and the issue was fixed but only temporarily. It took 8 days to back up again. Company doesn't provide any warranty and they charge $200.00 for the service. I will be dealing with a different plumber from now on.

I had a leak from a second floor bathroom coming into our dining room this morning and had no clue what to do.

I spoke to Mike, the boss and even though they were pretty booked up today, he was able to free up one of his guys (Miles) and get him over within hours.

I can't say enough about the job Miles did. We were afraid that the shower pan was leaking or that a pipe had broken in the walls but Miles troubleshot the problem and found that it was just a bad wax seal on one of the toilets.

They were in and out in two hours at a VERY reasonable rate.

I will DEFINITELY call Proactive next time I have a plumbing issue (which I hope is never).
