So...you need a toilet replacement quick! Call Proactive Plumbing.

Spent 1 1/2 hours yesterday calling plumbing services. Late afternoon called Proactive and in 5 minutes received a call back! FYI - Have not heard back from all but one other company! (early bird gets the worm) Now that is service. Talked to Mike about the problems, told him the toilet I wanted, received a quote (price was right) and scheduled an appointment for today! Just like that!

Dave (very nice guy) came today at the time we scheduled and installed the toilet with no problems! Made some suggestions on the supply line (no pressure at all) and he made the change, installed the toilet and cleaned area!

I am so impressed with this company and will call on them again in the future! Thank you for making my replacement experience painless! Now if I only knew to call them first on my list I would have saved the extra hour yesterday. Thank you Mike and Dave! You are awesome!!

Very nice guys, responded quickly to our questions, showed up on time. After they did the job, they charged us less than the estimate because they didn't need to dig as deep as they thought they would! We will definitely use them in the future!

called at 9am they were in and out by 2pm .... they charged the quoted price .... the only thing that was a bit troubling is, I was told the part came complete with a new burner and that was not provided nor installed .... not sure how I feel about that ..... now would I call them again ? ... 50/50 ... did I pay too much did they install a leftover part ? got to give these guys a bot more cred .... they read the yelp called and came back this morning to iron out any issue ... so all things being fair will use them again ...

Steve was here at my Vista home in a flash, after I called and left a message with their answering service about my sewer line rupture emergency.
And,................. it was on a Sunday (of course)

Steve had the line rupture repair in my driveway finished in under 3 hours, and his price beat the competition by hundreds of dollars. Proactive plumbing is professional, knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, clean up after themselves, and they offer very, very reasonable prices!

From now on, if I EVER have a plumbing or sewer-line repair need, I will definitely call Proactive Plumbing to get the job done right.

in my opinion, they don't have ANY plumbing company competition, because no other plumbing service out there can come anywhere close to rating 5 stars like Steve.

Mike was in the area and quickly diagnosed the issue on Sunday. The failed part was hard to find. Installed in water heater on Monday and working great. Very friendly guys, Mike and Steve. Highly recommended.

We suspected a hot water slab leak, which can be tough to detect. We called Proactive at 9pm on a Sunday night and they were very quick to respond. One of their guys (Art) arrived the next morning and got right to work. He was polite and very professional... Within 2 hours he confirmed our suspicions and provided a quote. Based on feedback from Proactive (as well as other slab leak victims and our insurance), we opted for a reroute of the hot water line. Based on the distance, most feedback indicated a $1,000 - $1,400 cost (Note: even the Proactive gentleman on the phone Sunday evening indicated it would be about $1,000). Our cost was $1800, which was much higher than expected. This is the reason I can't give Proactive a full 5-Stars. If the price would've been more in line with what was expected, it would've been easy to grant 5-Stars, because these guys are great...

Found this company through yelp. All of the great reviews were not misleading. They came out literally 1 hour after I called and sent an amazing technician by the name of Dave. He unclogged my shower and sink drain and noticed my toilet leaking and replaced a flap for free. Went above and beyond and I will call no one else to do my plumbing. Great job guys!

These guys are a class act. We established a arrival time and I was pleasantly surprised when the called back a short time later to ask if they could arrive early than our set appt.

They arrived and quickly assessed the issue, an estimate was provided, the work done, the work was explained and checked, and they went on their way.

I referred them to my father in law which I'd only do if I was confident that they'd do a good job and I would get grief for the rest of my days if they did otherwise.

I had Proactive Plumbing install an on-demand water recirculator for my home in Rancho Santa Fe on 11/14/14. After it was installed I was very upset that it wasn't installed correctly, and wasn't working correctly. I sent them a rather nasty email, and they immediately contacted me multiple times to resolve the problem. I was extremely impressed that they wanted to resolve the problem. As a business owner myself I know that issues often arise with difficult customers. But I must say that I have rarely dealt with a business that so directly aims to make the customer happy and make things right. They offered to uninstall the circulator pump and refund the money or to correct the problem, I opted to trust them and let them make it right. They did an amazing job of the finished installation and it works perfectly. The most important thing when choosing any contractor is trust; and after my experience I can say that these guys are really stand-up honest plumbers who want to do a good job and keep their customers happy. I can recommend them without hesitation for their honesty and commitment to customers. Their amazing Yelp reviews are the real deal.
