After dealing with a few different local A/C companies over the years, finding Proactive was like a breath of fresh air! It is obvious from your first contact with the company that they care about their customers - you receive email and telephone notifications about when the tech will arrive, including his picture! Communication is so important and Proactive understands this. Mike, the owner, is very accessible and also hands-on. You will feel confident about a good outcome from Day 1. Danny installed a new system for us today and it's so good to know that when the summer (finally!) gets here, our house will be cool and comfortable. Thanks again Proactive!!

I called this Company to service my humidifier on my forced air furnace. They replaced the humidistat for $100 , humidifer still didnt work then they said the sensors needed to be replaced, then tried to upsell me on a new humidifer for $500 when all I needed was a $45 maintenance kit to replace the old parts. Once i told Michael the owner about the maintenance kit offered by the manufacturer online for $45 , he said he will check it out and call me back. He never did nor did he ever send a tech back out to finish the job. After 2 days I called his office left a message with his secretary. That was 3 weeks ago. Always check online for pricing on parts for these machines when possible. I guess they couldn't make enough money off me. Will never use them again

We just had our central air Condenser and Air Handler replaced by Proactive and can not be more satisfied. From initial inquiry to quote to install, Mike and team were extremely professional and responsive. When Mike came by for a quote he made sure to call while on his way to give us a heads up. During the quote he was very nice and respectful of our property to put shoe covers on so that he wouldn't dirty our floors. He gave us a few detailed options (with model numbers and specs) and answered all of our questions in a timely manner, we never felt pressured to buy and felt confident in our decision. On the day of install the technician Danny and Mike called before arrival and finished everything within a day (9:30a-1:30p...4 hours! -we didn't need much/any duct work) It was a little rainy on the day of install, and they made sure to lay cloth on the floor so as they walked in and out, everything would stay neat and clean. We got a lot of quotes and met with a lot of companies and we are glad we went with ProActive.

I would give Proactive Home Services 10 stars if I could. Extremely knowledgeable and professional from Michael the owner to Lauren at the customer service center to Steven the service rep. Lauren stayed in contact with me and made sure I had an appointment that worked for my busy schedule and she stayed in contact with me up when Steven was en route . Steven took the time to listen and kept me abreast along the way with the problem I was having. The price I paid was definitely reasonable for the work. I'm glad I waited for Proactive and didn't go with the other service reps who are not worth mentioning. I saved a lot of money. Thank you Proactive home service for your patience and concern for my home ac problems. You just made a friend for life God bless you all.

Had a couple of problems in our bathroom so I called Proactive. Process was quick, easy and everyone was very friendly. They had a technician come within an hour of when I called. He (Stephen) did a great job, was friendly and didn't leave any mess. He replaced the diverter and snaked the drain in our bathtub. The price was a little more expensive then I would've liked but overall they did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

artic air was awesome, we wanted to turn our gas burner on for the first time for the year since it got cold and we called on a saturday and they had a tech here within an hour! The tech was named tedy and he was very nice and knowledgable. They now have a customer for life!

I am very upset with the lack of communication provided by Arctic. I bought a service agreement from them which entitles me to a visit from a technician if there is a problem with my unit. AS it turns out, I have had to call them several times since purchasing the agreement, and their responsiveness has been terrible. I called early in the day and was told a tech would be in touch with me. Several hours later, I am in a sweltering house with kids who are whiny and will not go to sleep, and I have still not heard back from them. Even worse, this is the second time that the unit has not been functioning and a whole day has passed since hearing back from a technician. With the unreliable cooling system that I have, I need a reliable AC service. I think I will need to look elsewhere soon
