I highly recommend Pro-Service plumbing. I have used them for 8+ years now, and have never been disappointed. they are responsive, reliable, professional, and the pricing is very fair. Two weekends ago I had a new washer and dryer delivered and the delivery guy accidentally hit the gas line and we smelled gas. I called Pro-Service Plumbing and they responded right away. They came out and fixed the gas line, checked my water heater, and installed a part I had in my kitchen facet for under $400. A very reasonable price for the response time, services, and security of knowing my gas line issue was resolved. You cannot go wrong with Pro-Service Plumbing.

They replaced an attic water heater for us two years ago and fixed a leaking water line today. I am so glad we found them. You can find cheaper service but you get what you pay for. We had the master bathroom toilet backup and tried to use the plunger. When we plunged it backed into shower and bathtub. This happened on the Saturday morning of Easter weekend. We called two national firms - Roto-Rooter and Ben Frankiln's plumbing. Ben couldn't come out until Sunday and Roto was "not taking residential calls right now" - whatever that means. We looked up plumbers on the Better Business Bureau and found Pro-Service. We called them because we obviously couldn't wait with sewage in our shower and they had an A+ rating. We called and explained the issue. 15 minutes later we got a call back from the owner and he arrived an hour or so later. He diagnosed the issue and fixed it in about 30 minutes. The charge was at the higher end of the estimate that he had given me over the phone. The estimate was $175 to $325 and the charge was $275. I have no idea what the going rate for plumbing services is, but on a holiday weekend with a turn around of just over an hour it seems a fair amount.

I noticed a problem with our water heater Thursday morning and called Pro-Service. Kelly answered the phone right away and set up a time for Tom (owner and master plumber) to come out that afternoon and take a look. He called before coming and showed up on time. He was up front on pricing and since the unit was still covered by the mfg. warranty, he was able to make the exchange without me having to do any of the legwork for the warranty claim. His crew (Johnny and James) showed up Friday morning and completed the work expertly and timely. They were careful about making sure no rusty water leaked on the carpet and kept me informed when they needed to get a coupling that was an unusual size and they didn't have it on their truck. They showed up a little after 11 in the morning and were done by 2:00, including going to get the coupling. I was impressed by how quickly they were able to get the whole thing done. High quality work, respectful of my time and keeping me informed is why I give them 5 stars. Will keep their number and call again for future plumbing needs.
