Was recommended to Howie by another plumber who was unable to come due to scheduling conficts. Howie didn't disappoint. He was professional and personable. He completed the job neatly and efficiently. He explained things to my husband, listing pros and cons of all options and let us decide. He explained maintenance issues to us to avoid future difficulties. His price was reasonable. I would use him again and recommend him.

We weren't living at our house yet, but asked Howard to confirm the night before so I could meet him there. It was our new year that day so I left the celebration and family to meet him there. I get a phone call 3 mins before our meeting time that he won't be able to make it. Since his reviews were good, I contacted him again asking if he could come for an estimate. He said he would charge $180 to rule out ""tire kickers"" and those with scheduling issues. He's the one with scheduling issues and the lack of respect for other's time!

Problem - Kitchen sink became clogged on the coldest day of the year - 01-07-2018.
I tried Liquid Drano and a small snake - to no avail.
I reached out to a co-worked who I know had some recent plumbing work done.
He refered me to PRO Mechanical.
Howie from PRO Mechanical really came through.
He had two other jobs and arrived at about 8:00 pm.
He snaked the drain 2x times and got me running water though the sink again.
Besides showing up on a busy day, being competent, he is also a funny guy.

Made appointment, came on agreed date at said time. Showed issue, one leaking fitting. Was than informed that the heating system  was modified, over the life of the house and needed to be restored, to how it was originally  made 100 years ago. I stated that all I needed was the one leak fixed. I was given a price, which I felt was very high, but thought that there might be more involved to the repair than I saw. After less than 30 minutes and no actual new parts installed, I concluded the $250 was really an enormous amount.

Found these guys through Angie's List. They had over 40 A reviews and they ARE amazing. Came out 2 hours after I called. Fixed a twisted pipe and hooked up our washing machine (that Sears didn't). They were knowledgeable, quick, and very reasonably priced. Will happily use them again.
