Pro Energy Solutions I just want to give a great big thank you to John Boyle Sr and the Pro Energy Solutions team. For many years they have been servicing my furnace, install new water heater, etc. They always do a fantastic job! All their employees are top notice and excellent customer service. BUT let me tell you this, was traveling for work and out of area. Furnace went down and no heat. House dropped to 48 degrees. One call to them at 9 pm and they were at the house at 945 pm! They needed parts and were back at my house at 730 am. They are the definition of a great company! Thank you all and if you need any of their services you will not be disappointed!!

They installed five outdoor wall sconces on our back side and was able to do so without opening the Sheetrock on the inside.

I decided to hire them because they were available to do the job right away so I do not need to wait three weeks like other electricians.

They were friendly and professional. Their price was reasonable. Their company seems well established.

I would give 5 stars but, communication trying to get a start date after payment wasn't handled well. I am happy I stayed with them, thanks to project manager Vincent Giordano. He was polite and and kept communications open. The install crew were polite and professional. They let me know when they finished and showed me the completed job, and answered all questions I had. When they left, the job area was cleaned and left my house the way it was. Overall, a great job guys. I would recommend Pro Energy. Like I said, I would have given 5 stars if not for the miscommunication early on! Keep up the great work, maybe next time you'll earn 5 stars! Thank you to everyone! ?

BUYER BEWARE. Unlike other reviews here, my experience with Pro Energy was frustrating and disappointing to say the least. I chose them among 2 other competitive bidders (as I typically do for any of my home projects) and relied on Angi's sponsorship and reviews on a number of reliable sites. To my dismay, management did not live up to my expectations in terms of customer service and satisfaction in the overall experience with my AC unit replacement project. To sum up, it ended up being a 2-month delay to finally install a working unit. Their crew/tech failed to ensure that all parts were in the box prior to attempting the install so nothing was accomplished the first time around; upon return, their crew failed to test and ensure the unit was in working order and left my tenant with a defective unit in the midst of high summer (they were aware that a very young infant resides in that home); their crew failed to show up for a confirmed appointment without even the courtesy of a call to cancel or reschedule costing my tenant a day's lost wages; more delay in returning to replace the faulty unit; all of this costing my tenant and I, significant related out of pocket expenses. I was more than patient and understanding and management chose to simply place blame solely on the supplier. I firmly disagreed with their position as the supplier cannot be blamed for their shortcomings, poor quality of service and unreliability on the part of their crew. I gave management an opportunity to extend a reasonable courtesy (discount off the total cost) under the circumstances but management refused to go above and beyond to maintain the business relationship - one that would have led to future referrals. I paid for the project in full upfront and expected that they would handle the situation differently. It was disappointing that adequate consideration was not given even a thought. I will not be referring this nightmare to anyone I care about. S. Ortiz (Perth Amboy, NJ).

Two years ago my AC died and needed a new furnace. In that process I was made aware a New Jersey state program that paid for improved insulation in my house and provided favorable financing for higher efficiency equipment.

Pro Energy did the insulation, their workers and workmanship was very good. I can also say that after the two years I notice a nice even temperature throughout the house and lower heating and AC bills.

My mother's boiler broke and a Rep from the company came to the house on a Monday and stated that they would be able to install a new boiler on Wednesday or Thursday the earliest. So for more then 4 days, she has been living in her home with out heat or hot water. Today is Thursday.. so I called to confirm they were coming for the install and I was told that they have been trying to get an emergency authorization from the town of Fishkill for 4 days. I called the town of Fishkill and got the authorization in 2 hours. Now I try to speak to the Manager John but he is not taking my call. My mother is still living with no heat or hot water!!!!! But they took my money the same day they came for an assessment!!!! I would NEVER deal with these people again.

If I can give one last advice - PICK ANOTHER COMPANY!!! save yourself the headaches.
Well truthfully I would think twice maybe 3 times before hiring this company to do any type of work in your house.
While it was not their fault that the product was faulty from factory. Every problem and interaction I have personally had with them has been horrible. (Heater is not keeping the water hot. If the temperatures are luke warm that is great)
To start things off my heater was broken from the very beginning. We called twice within the first 3 month of it being installed & all they did was increase the heat to unsafe temperatures and basically tell us we had to deal with it. (Which we did for about 2 years) fast forward to now the problem has just grown exponentially. We contacted them had to pay a service fee for them to come and tell us that there were parts that were malfunctioning from the beginning. They needed to reach out to the HTP company manufacturer.
They had supposedly been in contact with the manufacturer (calling them endlessly and sending emails left and right) whom we recently found out had shipped out all 4 parts that were broken but miraculously the parts kept on getting ""lost"" or not shipped or on back order - all excuses we have heard from proair. They tell us that they have spend tons of money and time trying to fix and repair our issue. When they haven't. Formally confirmed that they (PROENERGY) have just been feeding us lies. Both Billy & John whom they claim are great mechanics (maybe true maybe false - make your own opinions based on actions)
Have done nothing but lie and give us the run around.
They have had the go ahead to exchange the whole unit - which they chose not to do because they would not be getting reimbursed for that job - Per John.

I called about 10 HVAC companies. 3 called me back, and said they were ""booked for 4-6 weeks."" The reason I was calling was because our Central air died. Finally, via Home Depot, I was connected to Pro Energy Solutions. Mike got here within a day to estimate the job. He gave me 4 options varying with price. I went with the whole enchilada as our oil burner was as old as the hills as was our AC. In 1 week, they came and and did a FABULOUS JOB! Totally professional, timely, clean, courteous and friendly! The price was also incredibly reasonable! They saved our dogs and us from the wicked heat in NJ! I have ZERO complaints and a hundred reasons why I'd recommend them! BTW, they came a LONG WAY to our house!!! Don't think twice! Young guys who know their stuff and impressed the hell out of this older guy! THANK YOU!!!!!
