I'm a first-time home owner. I've lived in my condo for less than 3 months. I'm a single woman living alone and learning everything for the first time. I was unfortunately introduced to this company through Fidelity Home Warranty. Robert, the owner, came out to fix a leaky faucet in my shower. At the consultation, he said I'd need 1. permission from my HOA to shut off the water to the building and 2. to notify the other residents of the shut off. I did both of those things in preparation for my appointment. However when he arrived for the scheduled appointment, he asked if the water was shut off and I said no but I got the HOA's permission for him to shut it off as he requested. He then went into an explanation about why he can't shut it off and why the HOA has to do it, liability issues, etc. I said I understood but that's not what he communicated to me. He acted as if I should have known that the HOA needed to turn it off despite him telling me I'd need their ""permission"" not that I'd need them to handle the shut off.

He went to go look for the shut off while I was on the phone with my HOA to see if they can tell me where it is or if they can come shut it off. Robert came back to my door, clearly frustrated, and said he'd come back later if I can get the water shut off.

He continued to reiterate the same information about liability as if that would change the circumstances or change the fact that he didn't tell me this from the beginning. I became frustrated at his lack of empathy, lack of clear communication and poor expectation setting because I'm leaving for two weeks and I'm worried about leaving a leaky faucet unattended for that long. He stormed off and said he wouldn't be back to fix it. Robert is EXTREMELY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISMISSIVE. He took no accountability for his lack of communication during the consultation. I completely understand the liability issue and I would have gotten everything set up appropriately in advance had I known everything that was needed. Now I'm scrambling to get someone else here in time before I leave the state.

Not to mention, during his consultation, he walked through my home with his shoes on, stepped into my shower that was slightly wet and left dirty footprints in my shower, across my carpet and tile floors. I should have taken that as a sign of his level of professionalism to begin with. Whatever you do, find another plumber who is kind, caring and professional, do not hire this company.

They came out here through my home warranty. Had to crank the angle stops really, really hard, making lots of noise and vibration in the pipes, and then claimed, ""hey they close so no problems here"". They offered to make me pay for the work myself but refused to do it through the warranty. Told me that every time I turn the valve the massive amounts of calcium buildup will go away...and then told me not to turn the valves to prevent failure. They took the dispatch money from the warranty and refused to actually do any work. This review seems to match MANY reviews here on Yelp. If you get assigned to them, then you will need to have your warranty cancel them and go with someone else.

I'm sure I got the right company; I'm not sure how they got 3.5 stars though. Our faucet started leaking from the handle out of the blue, so we made claim through our home warranty insurance company (AHS - American Home Shield) and they assigned us Pro-connect (AVOID ALADDIN AT ALL COST)

They came ahead of their scheduled time and assessed the issue and isolated the water and replaced our sink faucets, along with a new water stopper. The kicker was when the plumber (Robert) noticed our lines were old, so he replaced them free of charge. I couldn't be happier with the turnaround and level of service Pro-connect has provided. Thank you guys for making this painless!

0 stars. If this company is sent to you by a home warranty company stay clear! They are not about the work and it must be easy money for them for the service call. Robert will tell you something that you have to pay out of pocket because the warranty company won't pay. He comes empty handed the other guy just stands in the doorway and they look and leave and give the warranty company a story. Same experience as others with the warranty service providers. The warranty company should see a pattern but clearly they don't care anyways. Robert told me to deny the claim so they can pay me $350 what they would pay him for a water heater repair and the warranty company then told me if I didn't want to do the work with this company I could ""cash out"" and they would send me $75 dollars or I could open a new claim and pay the $90 fee again. The warranty company said if the plumber said the water heater was old and out of code and needed to be replaced, they would have replaced it, but he didn't tell them that. I feel scammed and lesson learned I will review the companies that call and try to set an appointment with us from here on out.

Shower valve problem. This company was sent by Home warranty company to fix. Arrived quickly and reached out ahead of time. All was good. However, when he was working on it he informed me that if he had to replace the valve, it wasn't entirely covered by insurance and would cost $600. I was here when the same valve was replaced before, basically an hour labor, so he was setting up to charge 600 hr to take advantage. Luckily, the valve didn't need to be replaced. When he left he told me because I took off the handle, I would have to put it back on. Really? He didn't have enough grace to take 180 seconds to finish it and make sure it worked a-ok? Review was done because poor character is very telling, other's should have heads up.
