DO NOT USE!!!! Read all the reviews people, they will take your money and not complete the job more times than not. Then when you try to talk to them you will get excuse after excuse or never hear from them again. Everyone should pool together to get a class action lawsuit going against this company to get their jobs either refunded or completed according to plans.

The Private Sewer and Water Co. are scam artists. Don't give Ron money upfront. You will never see him again. Ron Janis, Jr. is unscrupulous and dishonest. The work performed was good, but after final payment he did not finish the work and it had to be completed by someone else.

I don't even think this company Ron runs should be on business if you can't trust the person who runs it. His truck full of mud or crap driving on the highway hit my cat and put a dent and scratched the paint off. I called him and he first accused me of wanting to fix something I already had. First red flag. Second he asked me to send him a picture and get him the paper work from an estimate. Sure thing I did what he said. Now he is not returning my calls, or txts. His FB page contains a comment about him being a lier and plain a bad business guy...just not right. He is a guy with no integrity whatsoever. My insurance will have to deal with his so called business. Don't hire this guy to do your work. Hire someone you can actually trust, but now that I think of it. He deals with shit because he is one.

If I could give a minus star I would. He scammed us into paying him twice. Now a check cashing business has one of our checks that he cashed there it was NSF cuz Ron didn't wait the 3 days it would take to transfer funds from a IRA. He came back to say his office manager accidentally shredded the NSF check so he could not return it. So we wrote checks to cover the NSF and he made sure to go to our bank to cash them. The bank followed proper procedure and called to verify. The check cashing business is threatening litigation on us. BUT the police and our lawyer say that the check cashing business has no standing. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!! Ron has the money from that NSF check.

Very much unprofessional and dishonest, stay away. We had Private Sewer & Water come out to fix a minor seepage issue in our basement, nothing too serious, just one small area of our wall when we'd get a lot of rain or after a big snow melt, more of a nuisance than anything. We were assured that installing new drainage tiles would fix the issue and they would be done in a day. Long story short, after a day of jack hammering up the floor, leaving a mess that took hours to clean (topped off by the puddle of antifreeze that one of the cars leaked on the driveway), and over $1000 wasted, an entire wall is seeping water every time it rains. Couple weeks later, one of these guys comes back, says he'll come back with his crew on that Thursday morning (this was on Monday), lied right to my face and never showed up, all calls and emails have since been ignored. And for the record, this is not a business with an A+ BBB accreditation, they are rated an F, with numerous unresolved complaints.

Even with a signed contract, Private Sewer and Water Corp. asks for advance in money then skips out on project.

My family hired Private Sewer and Water Corp. to repair our broken sewer line, fix our uneven catch basin by removing it and install an ejector pump in February of 2014. We signed a contract. The company was wrapping up the completion of our broken sewer line and ejector pump installation when Ron (the owner) asked us to help him and his company out and pay the remaining sum because his company needed money on their books for a loan. He wouldn't normally ask us a client to do this. The company was doing excellent work and Ron was very personable so we put our trust in Ron and paid them in full. Once they received the money they skipped out on the project leaving our basement a filthy mess.

As of date our ejector pump is hooked up by an electric cable; our catch basin is still in our back yard, on angle revealing a large hole; the ejector pump pit has no lid and our rain pipe was smashed by the team as they did work.

Every week since February my husband or I spend 15 min or more of our time talking to Ron. He promises his team will be at our house, we set aside our day, then Private sewer and water corp. never shows.

Our family put our trust in this Ron and Private Sewer and Water Corp. and they took advantage of us. Be warned when dealing with this company.

Dishonest and unprofessional. People always say not to pay contractors until they have completed the job and Private Sewer and Water is exactly why. We made the mistake of paying them in full when they were halfway finished with a job back in February. Its now October and they haven't shown up since.

We've repeatedly scheduled times with Private Sewer and Water to come out and finish the job, but they always skip out on the appointment. They usually don't even have the courtesy to let you know they aren't going to make it, they just don't show up and wait for you to track them down.

Nice job, I did not have the same experience the other posters have indicated. I had about 30 foot of pipe that had to be replaced that led into my sewer. The guys were courteous, on time, kept their word and kept to the estimate. I would recommend Ron and his team again, no question.

We had a disastrous plumbing event and needed major repairs quick. The Private Sewage and Water Corporation was there fast to give us a quote (least expensive one out of four other quotes) and even faster to get the job started and completed. The crew was fun and friendly and made an extremely stressful situation much easier to handle.
Private Sewage and Water Corporation is well priced and has quality work and great customer service! Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

This man is not to be trusted. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

We have been trying to collect money from the owner Ron Janis Jr for months. He has given us every excuse in the book and has continually lied to us. His shop has all brand new equipment including a brand new white Hummer that I'm sure he paid for with the money he owes other people. Every time we had scheduled to meet, he would not show up or blame someone else for not having our money.

He is by far the most dishonest, slimy, inconsistent, unprofessional, and rude person I have ever encountered in a professional or personal part of my life.

He is NOT a businessman. He is a CON ARTIST who takes advantage of people.
