Had a minor leak under the kitchen sink. Called them, was told they where playing catch up but would do there best to be at my house before the end of day. Two hours later they showed fixed the problem thanked us and left. Very professional as always!

They arrived on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, explained the repair, retrieved the parts immediately, talked through each step of the repair as they were doing it, and educated me broadly on the care and maintenance of my system while they were working. Our heater was making a whining noise on start up. We hadn't had the filter checked this year, either. I called and explained the problem. They gave me an estimate and the repairman was here within an hour. He took about 30 minutes, fixed the problem, and let me write a check at the time. Completely happy with the work and timeliness of service.

When the archaic furnace that came with our house finally died they got us in within a few days with a brand new furnace and even financed us for it without a hassle. Fast installation, done same day. Absolutely pleasant.

Fast forward to yesterday .. we weren't getting heat and the thermostat was showing the heat was on but we were either getting no air at all or it would cycle, shut off and turn back on a few hours later to bring the temp back up and nothing would happen. After a couple of calls and trips out the techs figured out it was the thermostat ... got it replaced this morning and *boom* in and out in about 20 minutes.

I've had to call Pritchard Bros. to fix items my home warranty didn't cover. I no longer utilize my home warranty since every time I've needed something, Pritchard Bros was cheaper than the 100 deposit my home warranty charged. They're polite, expedient, and I love that they wait a week or two before sending the bill.

The furnace on the house I inherited from my mom died completely. I called every heating/cooling place in Boone. Pritchard Bros. had the best estimate, the quickest response, and the fasrest service. I had a few personal snafus during the process and they were extremely patient. They got it in quickly and efficiently, they had practical advice on how to keep the new furnace in good shape and the cost was only $200 over the estimate. I will only call them from now on when I have furnace, AC, and/or plumbing problems.

Absolutely worst service and people ever. My senior mother called them when her septic tank stopped working. Took them 4 hours to get to her place, they spent 30 seconds looking at it and asked her if she had a fuse. She gave them her OWN fuse, they replaced it and charged her nearly a hundred dollars! They were in and out in less than 15 minutes and didn't even use their own fuse. Should be ashamed of themselves.

It is weird. I had my wife call to 8 different companies in the area to get a price on installing a new 3 1/2 ton energy efficient air conditioner at our residence. Pritchard Bros was the only one who called back. I have worked myself in the Plumbing, Heating and Air conditioning business over 8 years and they asked very intelligent questions to try ascertain what my situation was. When I am at the point that I want equipment put in, there is nobody but them that I trust. They have done a great job answering every question that I have. Thanks Pritchard Bros!!

Got a call from the company the other day, 9 months after I left the review. Was told they didn't even have a record of having ever sold us a water heater or installing it. I guess that should come as no surprise. They just confirmed my decision to never to business with them again.
