I have never used this company, however, I left multiple emergency messages this morning with at least 10 repair companies because my heat quit overnight.
Priority called me back to let me know they were on Block Island and wouldn't be able to get here until Monday.
Customer service goes a long way!!!
Did not show up for the appointment. Twice. Seems like bad management and best to look elsewhere. Unprofessional from the begining I guess.
Kristen K.I received this company's business card while at work. A couple months had gone by and I finally decided to reach out to Priority Plumbing. I have nothing but great things to say about this company. By far the most professional plumbing company we have dealt with. Mike the owner is super friendly, professional and helpful. The other Mike and Eric who are employees of the company were also professional, honest, friendly and assisted with our troubles the best way that they could. What I loved most about them is their honesty! This is not a company that is trying to take you for your money. They are willing to work with you to let you know the problem and how quickly you should get the problem fixed. Mike and Eric were efficient, cleaned up after themselves and thoroughly explained everything to me as best as they possibly could without me knowing much about plumbing lol. I would by far recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a plumber. Thank you again for excellent above and beyond customer service.
Woke up to no heat on a chilly December Sunday morning. I called twice and the answering service said they paged him/passed the message. Never got a call back.
Jack M.The owner Mike is very responsive. His guys showed up a few minutes early and did a great job. Best part was their pricing was more than reasonable. Great experience!
Carol G.Just want to give a big Thank you and Shout to a local company. A few days ago I noticed a leak in a pipe in my basement. Then I was driving behind a truck and it was Priority Plumbing. I decided to call this local company and
spoke to the owner Mike. He worked with me on a day and time, and worked around my crazy hours. Well they showed up on time and repaired the leak and I didn't have to mortgage my house. Thank you Mike, Mike, and Clay.
Great team and great service.
Mike and his crew of plumbers have been excellent!
They have gotten both jobs done on time and he even worked with national grid to get me a refund that I had no idea existed.
We had 2 service issues (in an old house) last winter and he showed up right away (one time in the middle of the night even) and always clean and professional.
He'll be my plumber for life!
Day 1: Priority Plumbing (henceforth PP) scheduled to remove old furnace & replace w/new gas steam boiler w/new gas pipes, vent, electrical, & electric water feeder. Included use of addition of pipe conditioner to calm pipe banging & install new thermostat on opposite side of wall w/understanding it would take 1 day (quoted $6200). PP called the a.m. before Day 1 to ask if PP could do a walk through at our house later that afternoon to make sure PP had all required materials, but later called to cancel bc other things had come up? Work started Day 1, but PP got a call of emergency water main break at an apartment complex, & seemed rushed throughout the day to get to the bigger customer. The ""new electrical"" was wiring to the nearest junction box in the basement & PP suggested I should hire an electrician to run a line directly to the electric panel, but that PP could not (would not?) do that. PP left the metal flexible conduit from the vent unconnected to the boiler (it should have been attached to the new boiler via the punch hole) so the wires now hang out the side of the boiler. PP untidily connected the new thermostat wire to our old knob & tube & left it hanging dangerously close to uninsulated steam pipes. PP did not finish in one day, but connected boiler to get heat going & left to come back the next a.m. (3 hours, Day 2) to finish & clean up tools & supplies PP had left in our garage. PP installed the new thermostat on wrong side of wall, & had to change that the next a.m. too, as well as relight the pilot & turn on the water heater (we realized PP forgot to do that too, after cold showers). PP left the 4 cement blocks that elevated the old boiler in random places in the basement. PP left our empty cardboard Christmas tree box strewn in another corner w/a pair of their dirty latex work gloves left inside. Heat worked, but pipes banged much louder & more violently than w/older system (woke us up at night, shook floor, scared cats). Evening of Day 2, I put laundry in the washer. Day 3, I went downstairs to put the load of laundry from the washer to the dryer, but found water ALL OVER the basement floor, the waste hose from the washer was disconnected from the pipe to the sump pump. PP confirmed they had removed the hose & admitted they forgot to put it back! Water was in two rooms & a hallway of our finished basement. (We were flabbergasted!) I requested PP clean up their mess, so PP brought a shop vac to get the water (Day 4) but I demanded industrial blowers, so PP begrudgingly complied & later that day brought one in to use over the weekend. Pipe banging continued to wake us up at night over the weekend & I wondered if PP had forgotten the pipe conditioner? PP worker came to get the blower Day 7 I asked if PP had added conditioner, & PP hadn't. Later that day (Day 7), I went to put away clean linens in the linen closet in the basement, but couldn't open the closet door, bc a pipe that ran above the closet was now resting below the front of the linen closet doors, blocking access. I emailed to tell them PP needed to come fix it, but the earliest I could mutually find a time (to take more time off from work!) was Day 11. Workers arrived & I firmly explained the frustrations w/their attention to detail, problems w/their workmanship that needed to be corrected, & PP rudely stood in our own house & told us I were being passive-aggressive (mind.blown.) I went downstairs to check on lifting the pipe & made sure I could open the linen closet (we could), but I failed to take much notice of the floor, as PP had their tools strewn about, & figured PP would be cleaning up. PP failed to sweep or vacuum the metal filings around the base of the new unit, but the heat was working, & making less noise after finally adding the pipe conditioner. The next day (Day 12) I went downstairs to put away some boxes, tripping on one of the random cement blocks they relocated near the furnace. I went to move it out of the way, but realized it wouldn't move. PP had lodged it, w/a new unconnected piece of copper piping, under the steam pipe ensemble to prop up & lift the whole configuration so the cabinet opened. THAT was their solution to the problem! PP did not attempt to use any proper pipe support (feet, rolls or hanging straps) but instead just crammed an oversized cement block & extra piece of copper pipe under the pipe configuration. I was livid! I said it was not acceptable, but PP said ""what's wrong now""? And didn't even see how inappropriate their ""solution"" was. Mike seems like a nice guy, but do not hire him to fix or install anything.
Very professional and reasonable. This hard working trio came out quickly and presented all options. We decided to replace our 35 year old heating system and they made it happen within days. Quality products and workmanship with excellent prices, service, and communication, do yourself a favor and call them first!!
