Don seemed personable during the initial consultation. He agreed with me that the Bosch furnace and heat pump were great choices, and there were rebates on both. The installation went smoothly, no big issues, although he convinced me to use his Honeywell thermostat instead of my current Nest. Once the installation was done, and the kinks worked out with the Honeywell, the system ran well, although it was a bit complicated to get it to switch between the heat pump and furnace. After I did some research, I figured out to get me Nest to work with the system and rewired it myself.
Don told me I should claim the furnace on my taxes to get the $400 credit. He would take care of the $1400 rebate on the heat pump. It's been nearly 2 years since my installation and I have yet to get the $1400 rebate he promised. He kept stringing me along, saying he was getting in touch with the person handling the rebates, then the person changed, etc. For the last few months I have not gotten any response from him about the status of the rebate despite multiple calls and texts. Beware of what he promises. I would definitely not recommend Don Principe for your heating and cooling needs.

We got several quotes for a ductless system for our older home. Don was prompt to come and was by far the best price. He advised us what would work for us and we loved that he was a veteran. We had our system installed quickly and it was the best decision ever!!!! Wish we did it years ago!!! Quiet and efficient system. Don and his staff were very professional, friendly and courteous. We could not ask for a better company. Don has called us several times just to check that we are happy and everything is working fine. Don't hesitate to contact them we are glad we did and will definitely use him in the future. Hard to find someone that will even show up these days let alone give a fair price.
