We had an excellent experience with Carmine in our 8-unit building. He expertly installed the wireless portion of our Honeywell thermostat -- something we'd had another company try to do but couldn't. He was able to come out for the job within a couple hours of my calling him -- and on a holiday -- and did the job in 35 minutes. So glad we have a solid HVAC person to call now!

Carmine was a lifesaver. He came promptly when he said he would and looked at my heating issue. I had work done by a third party National Grid has a contract with and they came in the morning and they turned off my gas but when they were done they turned the gas back on but could not turn on my boiler. They said they it wasn't their responsibility even they tried several different ways to turn it back on. I called Carmine in a panic at 2pm as it was going to drop 20F overnight and with a newborn I was worried. He came promptly and as promised and fixed it in two seconds and also did extra maintenance/tune up. He is a really nice guy, honest and thorough. He also wont overcharged you for his work. Highly recommend him!

When it comes to boilers, response time, and helping you out, Carmine is the best. My 25-year old boiler was suddenly not keeping sufficient water level, and requiring draining every night. I called Carmine and he responded right away. When I explained the problem he even arranged to move me up on his schedule that day. (I must have sounded pretty panicked). While he worked on the boiler he had me talk to him about how we'd had it serviced in the past, made some suggestions and the work was done all in less than two hours for a more than fair price. You can't beat Carmine's business or service.

Carmine has arrived at my address exact at the scheduled time. I had the problem with radiators on all floors of my house. Some of them worked, some of them did not. Week before I had plumbers from City Build It Back program who replaced my boiler. They concluded that the valves on my radiators are broken and it may cost me $1000-$1500. Carmine explained me all possible reasons of my problem (besides the valves) and started to check the system from the ""less expensive"" options. He didn't just found and fixed the problem, but also he educated me how to do it on my own (!!!). The valves were not the problem at all! He charged me $240 for everything.
He is the great and honest person. I highly recommend him.

So glad that we found Carmine on this board. Our boiler wasn't firing and I wasn't thrilled with the annual service we received in the past from other providers. He arrived on time and got everything up and running and for a reasonable price.

After having long and extensive renovations in our house with somewhat sloppy contractors, Carmine installed our boiler earlier in the winter. I have to say it was one of the best experiences I've had with a plumber/contractor. Professional, clean, quick and very knowledgable. Got several estimates and Carmine was definitely the most straight up and clear. Didn't try to sell extras. Wouldn't want anyone else handling my boiler. He even followed up a few weeks after the job, checked valves and helped with the boiler rebate.

Carmine is a true specialist in heating systems & we recommend him highly. He spotted and solved a problem that two other well known Brooklyn plumbers missed entirely! Carmine responded promptly to our call. He assessed the problem, explained to us clearly and fixed it for a reasonable price. He works efficiently and cleans up. He does NOT leave a mess (like other plumbers have in the past).
Carmine is very personable and very clear about what he does and what he does not do. He made good suggestions and was very thorough. Also, he follows up. He called us a couple of days later to check that things were better.
We love it that Carmine is a 21st century guy - he told us about wireless solutions (IoT) for part of our heating problem. Other plumbers we called in before finding Carmine did not even suggest a modern way to balance the heat in our old home.
