The labor/service I received was good. It was to install two toilets. A red flag should have come up...because why would a plumbing contractor have his ""master plumber"" installing toilets. He should be on the more complicated end of plumbing installations and repairs. Home Depot charged me for the install of the two toilets - $440.00 which included removal of toilets. The tech. said that was not included in their contract and that would be $69.00/ea. (couldn't find the paperwork to show him - I did later and faxed that to their office and it stated firmly that removal was part of it) I had to have two supply lines and new valves supplied by Pride. The cost of those would be approx. (I looked them up after the fact) $35.00. They charged me an extra $450.00 and I paid it cause I just wanted the job done. BAD ON Me!!!! I called the office and they did admit that the price from Home Depot as regards removal of toilets was part of the cost from Home Depot. However, she reiterated that Pride and Home Depot have separate contracts (whatever the heck that means) and that Home Depot does not properly train their employees. Well, I have to argue with that because with the cost of $440.00 to install two supplied toilets should have been more than enough. But they sent me this to justify their cost.

Tech told me that would be the cost whether I lived in a mobile home or nice house like I have.
Well the supply lines and valves installation should have been part of the install costs. Turning off the water main took less than two minutes it's located in the basement (we drained it at the outside hose). Turning on and off the water main was less than a minute each time. Checking for leaks is part of the installation fee. Flushing toilet was all of five seconds (give me a break...have to lmao). Trying to find some humor in all the bs.
I spoke with the office again and asked the charges for parts. She would not supply them for me. Said, they don't do that. I asked what they were going to give me back...assuming she knew it was for the disposal and she said I was getting nothing back.
Well I got hood=winked...lesson learned and accepted. Beware out there!!!!
Lindsay J. and Jeanie I concur with you and blessings!!!

Pride Plumbing and Heating has been my go to since I moved to GJ. Last year they helped keep my ancient AC unit going for another year. At last 18 years after installation, it called it quits. Chris Gutierrez from Pride showed up on time, checked out the AC and Heating units. The AC was long past its expiration time frame and needed to be replaces. Chris not only gave me several options but helped to make sure the replacement I chose would compliment the remaining system. Not only did Chris set up a date to get the job done but showed up at that time with Sam. The two of them worked long and hard until the job was done. They walked me through everything, taught me how to take care of the new system to maximize the lifespan, and left the place as clean as they found it. Great guys, professional, organized, honest and a great value. Thank you Pride!!

i think they us reconditioned thermostates, there pricing is High. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, shame on both of us.
Pride's loss...

One star only because it was required. Called for a simple job. The employee didn't seem to want to give me quote for the job, It took several calls and two weeks to hear back. They wanted to charge me close to $3000 to something I had another plumber do for $600. I basically took as they didn't want the work.

We had about seven things fail at once, and initially called Pride to look at a leak created by our washer. That ended up being recitified more cheaply than estimated, and based on their stellar communication, and reasonable pricing, we received a quote to replace a well out of waranty water heater, boiler and swamp cooler. We feel we got a fair price, and they completed all the work within a few days, professionally and with good humor. Their team leader was supper good at managing all the seperate installations, and any surprises in our century-old construction were handled creatively and professionally. Highly recommend!

My dad had a regulator valve go bad and he called and Doug and Roger showed up within a half hour. Not only did they replace the valve they showed dad what else will soon need to be replaced (everything they replaced was over 25 years old) they did not pressure him just informed him. They were extremely professional and friendly. I will definitely recommend this company

My mom called this company to bleed her hot water heater lines because air was in them and making lots of noise every time the heat kicks on. When this company arrived they told my mom she needed a new boiler because her's was older. My mom said no she didn't and that wasn't why she called them, my dad just died and she plans to sell the house. This gentleman proceeded to tell her she would have to upgrade her boiler to get the house sold so she told him she would deal with it then, all she wanted was her lines bled and she realized it was a small job. He told her it would take them at least 5 hours because she had four zones. She told the gentleman that she would rather just pay him the $87 service call charge and be done (because he wasn't willing to do what she was asking and kept trying to upsell her). He told her she owed him $187 because he also had to diagnose, which he didn't because she called him for a specific reason that she was already aware of! Crooks trying to take advantage of my recently widowed mother!

Their technician arrived on time and were very professional. They explained the different price points for installing a new tankless hot water heater, as well as their benefits over an older model. The technician also made sure I knew what would happen during installation at each stage so there wouldn't be any surprises down the line (and guarantee this work). Finally when my upstairs bathroom started registering higher pressures than usual due to possible elevated pipes running through it they responded promptly without hesitation--even though we didn't ask them too!! I highly recommend them as they are experts in their field.

The temperature outside has been 11 degrees at night here in Whitewater, Colorado with high winds. Well, thanks to Murphy's law, sure enough our boiler decided to quit.
I woke up to find that the house was at 61 degrees and dropping quickly, so I was worried about frozen pipes and the damage it could cause. Called my plumber who installed our radiant heat system and he said he was booked (not the answer I wanted to hear, especially since we spent thousands with him for the system), but oh well...
I had read a recommendation about Pride Plumbing from a social media thread and we do pass their office every time we travel back from Grand Junction, so I made the call. The phone was answered by Chris who was polite and understood my emergency. Chris told me that they could have a technician over in the afternoon, would this work? Yes! That works! Thank you.
An hour goes by and a text message and phone call from Chris asking if the tech can come over now. Yes!!! Great!!! Even better!!
Sure enough, within minutes a technician rolls up in our driveway and he dons a mask and I now have the pleasure of meeting Mark Lasley. He's professional, a very nice man and he hands me his card.
I explain we had high winds last night and that the error code indicates a blocked vent switch. Mark looks over the system and realizing that I was hovering over him while he was trying to get his job done, I excuse myself to give him some space.
So, in summary we were without heat and Pride Plumbing was professional and understood our urgent need to restore our furnace....quickly. They responded promptly and professionally and we have to say their quick action was very appreciated. I would recommend Pride Plumming and was especially impressed with Mark.
Thank you guys!!

Pride Plumbing installed a new gas line for an oven in March last year. They did not give an estimate. Spoke with Pam Collins in person to explain that a new gas service to the kitchen needed to be installed. Chad claimed that they did give an estimate but they did not. Apparently his wife (Pam) texted the plumbing technician to make sure to charge as much as he good. Oh yeah they did. The owner of the house saw the texts that Pam had texted the tech that day. He was fired due to drug abuse. Today I went in the house. I called X-Cell energy to come out because I smelled gas. Guess what. The gas installation that Pride Plumbing and heating had installed was leaking. Therefore if you want to blow up your house call them!
