Multiple no shows with no communication. Set up a RODI but did not hook up the waste water into the drain. Unreliable response and is not punctual. Paid for the RODI hook up and never came back to finish hook up.

Out of 5 businesses I Yelp messaged for a quote, Price Plumbing responded in a very timely manner to provide an estimate. Richard requested some pictures which I was able to text to him on my phone. His availability was perfect to work out with my work schedule. Rates he quoted me, I had to do a double take, I needed confirmation to what was just provided (as I honestly thought ""huh? that can't be""). What stood out for me & is what I look for in a business ... punctuality, communication, affordability, & getting the work done. Richard was running late but contacted me right at the time he was supposed to be at my home. Got here & got right to work. He began with trying to snake the laundry basin with some difficulty. Richard then diverted to changing out the kitchen sink drain & the laundry faucet. Unfortunately due to a difficult time unclogging he was unable to complete the job with the laundry clog. He informed he'll come back later that afternoon as he had another job on the Windward side, I live in Central. Few hours went by and Richard contacted me to inform he was still doing the other job and asked if he could come tomorrow. He politely asked what time I wanted him to come and I told Richard, ""You give me a time."" ""7:00?"" PERFECT, hoping job would be successful and then I could go to work right after. Next day, Richard, as always, was punctual & pulled up at 6:45am with another worker. Richard and his co-worker did what needed to be done to complete the job unclogging our drain. I was so so happy they were able to utilize the snake, if not, they would have had to use the hydro jet (which would have added to the cost of repairs significantly). Richard honored his quoted estimate price & added that although they used the bigger snake (not same one as the first time) he was not going to charge me for that (thank you Richard!). I am satisfied with Price Plumbing's work & will add this business to my contacts for future reference if needed. Richard (and his co-worker) were professional & I greatly appreciated their business. Again ... punctuality, communication, affordability, & getting the work done earned 5 stars from me. THANK YOU Richard!

Richard came on time, great communication, he tried to unclog my outside drain but it was totally sealed and he explained to me why.... and DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE me for his time! I'm definitely hiring him for my next plumbing need because to me that speaks loudly of his integrity and honesty. Also he was pleasant to work with. So he gets my 5 stars no doubt.

Dishonest. Not only did they not fix the problem, representative by the name Albert tried to overcharge by $50. Terrible follow-up from Richard, the owner of Price Plumbing. Said he would make things right, but never showed up on date/time that he set. Also, I made the mistake of paying in cash. When I asked for the receipt, Richard said he would send me the paid invoice. After a month and three requests for the paid invoice, still not emailed as promised.

My water heater leaked on Labor Day 3-day weekend. Found plumbing companies thru yelp and sent inquiries. Fastest to respond was Malia from Price Plumbing. She was very helpful and patient answering all my questions over the weekend. She explained things for me and help me understand my options. She also provided a quick range of estimated cost. Richard was also very responsive on Tuesday (day of repair). Justin (the guy who did the repair) was also very nice. The repair took about 3 hours including procurement of the materials (heater and parts).

I just had my bathroom repaired by Price Plumbing and E.P.K. (the two of them, Richard and Ed, work together, also Ron the carpenter) and they did a great job on a complicated project for an affordable price. The toilet flange had been leaking for a while and had rotted through the plywood and was dragging cracking the ceramic tile. It entailed replacing all that plus a bunch of connecting fixture. They had to work in the crawl space of the house and above. I had tried twice before to get other estimates but neither got back to me after looking at it. They were efficient, finishing the job in about 3 days and left the site nice and clean. I would absolutely recommend them to others and would use either again if I had a plumbing issue.

I called many plumbers about my electric on demand water heater needing replacement and service valves installed as the old one was not installed correctly. I had THREE plumbers come and stare--and do nothing. All after telling me they were familiar with electric on demand heaters. These guys (Price) were reasonable by the hour as well as all FIVE star reviews so I thought they'd be great. Though nice, the person sent told me he was not actually the company I called--that he had his own company and was helping out...? Huh??? He had not a clue what to do. I spoke with the person in charge and he knew what I needed but this guy did not, so Huh? I emailed...they said they'd look into it. I ordered the valves myself as they didn't seem to know...I sent info. No reply. I called, No reply. Nuff said. Strike THREE. I'd give one star but at least someone showed up, and when he didn't know what to do did not charge me. Sorry!
