My initial experience, late last year, with Price Is Right Plumbing and Drain Cleaning was positive, so I contacted them again last week to replace two toilets in my home. The owner was helpful over the phone. However, Troy, the employee, was unprofessional during the estimate. I was told that he would contact me by a certain day/time to schedule a time to do the job and confirm the price. I did not hear from Troy until well after the agreed upon time. Troy is not dependable and seemed to have an ""I don't care"" attitude. He was a poor representation of the company. Needless to say, I did not hire Price Is Right Plumbing and Drain Cleaning and will not recommend their services to anyone.

I came home at 6:30 on Sunday to find my basement flooded and water spraying all over the place. I couldn't find the valve for the broken pipe and had to turn off water for the whole house-so no flushing, bathing, etc. I don't have a plumber, so I called several plumbers and Price is Right were the first to get back to me. Troy was at my place w/in an hour. He found the right valve so we could turn the water back on, then came back Monday morning to replace the pipe and move the valve to a location I could reach. Getting here on a Sunday night really saved me.

I am sorry to say I did not have a good experience with price is right. They were initially responsive and return my phone calls quickly to set up a time. However they were very expensive for a relatively simple job. My leak was bad so I went with it.

I left my husband home while Troy worked and when it was finished I came home to find the tub spout more than a 1/4 inch away from the tile wall and a deep scratch in the tub underneath it. I could put my pinky finger between the wall and spout and see the pipe. It was about 5:40 when I called and asked them to come fix it, the man said he would have Troy come back tonight and fix the problem. Troy called and asked if he could do it another day, when we said we would rather it be tonight....he finally showed up at 9:40pm after we called him again at 7:30 to see if he was still coming.

He tried to ""fix"" it by cutting the pipe which made the whole thing not work and leak water out the back. then he informed us the problem was the spout he bought uses a screw at the bottom, it is not the threaded kind like the original. Well... He bought the thing, installed it and then left with our money like it was done correctly. And now he is telling us it is the wrong faucet. Needless to say he had to come back the next day with the right part. And to top it all of he left a mess of plumbing grease dripping down the tub underneath the faucet.

So after my very long story, they did bad work and it was very obvious they didn't care about doing a good job, putting the right parts on or about fixing their work.

I would not use them again.

Called a few other places that either didn't call back, or got quoted a ton! Called Price is Right and Troy called back in two minutes. Then he was at my house in under 30 minutes. Didn't try to hit me up for a big job, just popped my drain and charged me a totally reasonable fee to clean it out. Also quoted a very reasonable rate if he needs to come back and snake it later. Easy, cheap, just what I needed. Thanks Troy!

I called three plumbers to get estimates for a gas line install. All three came out and looked at the job, and gave me a price. Price-is-right was by far the most expensive estimate I got. They were charging almost exactly twice the cost of the guy we ended up using. All of the places we looked at were fairly highly rated on Yelp (licensed, and insured and all that stuff). In all fairness, when they outlined the work they planned on doing, price-is-right planned on using more high-end pipes. But I couldn't justify spending an extra $800 for that. The guy who came out to the house was nice, he answered all my questions. The deciding factor was really cost. The price was definitely NOT right at price-is-right.

This company is a rare find - honest, courteous, and experts at what they do. They are simply amazing. They're straight shooters, get the job done, and guarantee their work. Great guys, solid work, and reasonable rates. Everything they've done has lasted. This is the second project I've had them out for, and the only company I would use.

I called James Price of the Price is right Co. He and his colleague, Troy came out within under an hour. They were very courteous, nice, helpful and impeccably honest they fixed my drain issue really fast and for a great price, too. They also threw in a free inspection of my home pipes to let me know things that may be an issue down the road... but didn't find anything (which tells me that they are honest they didn't ""find"" a huge problem they would have to come out for).

They really do take 24 hour emergency calls.
