We live on the 4th floor of a 40 year old condo building. The building often has water pressure problems (particularly after a condo-wide water shut-off for servicing). Some years ago, Jay and his father from Pressure Pro came out and fixed the water pressure problem we were having. We recently started having another water pressure problem and the hot water was down to a trickle. Our Condo Management tried to send out another service company, but they would not come out on a weekend. We remembered Pressure Pro and insisted that our Management Company use them. Jay came out and had strong water pressure back in no time. While he was here, he took the time to explain how to help prevent future pressure problems, and also made some recommendations for fixing some other unrelated issues. Jay and Pressure Pro are one of those rare Chicago area services that are honest, friendly and reliable. We cannot say enough good things about Pressure Pro.

Jay just called me back (after I left 3 messages - however to his credit he called me left me 1 message and another time didn't leave a message). However this was during a 2 week span. When he called back right now he was in an accusatory tone saying we had a conversation that I told him last week to call me this week. Also that it was about my kitchen sink which only produced cold water. That is not true. The messages I left were about my bathroom and kitchen sink being clogged. When I tried to explain this to him he wasn't having it. When I told him that I didn't hear back after almost 2 weeks I had another call out to someone else, he got mad and said ""we'll go with them bc I know we talked last week"". No we didn't and the fact this guy takes a few days to return a call is a joke.

Our condo is 100+ years old. Last 6 months, barely any cold water in our shower. Got name from our maintenance man. Called and left VM in the AM and in the evening. Jim called me back the next morning and came out in a few hours. Fixed in 30mins. $160. Hot/Cold flow is amazing. Should have called 6 months ago. FYI...they rarely answer the phone but will call you back. Great service. Highly recommend to get the job done fast.

Amazing service! We've had annoyingly slow hot water in our shower for the last three years. Then we learned about Pressure Pro and gave them a call. In 20 minutes our hot water was transformed from a trickle to abundance. The difference is simply amazing. Our only regret is that we didn't find out about PP years ago. Jim responded quickly and fixed my problem right away. My kitchen water was down to less than a pencil thick trickle. For $85, he was in and out in minutes and I've got a beautiful geyser-like flow. I couldn't be happier.
Bonus: jim is a real nice guy with a sense of humor and a willingness to do a little more. He volunteered to check my bathroom flow and even tried to fix a leak until he discovered the extension arm had a little crack. But he told me where to go and whom to ask for when I got there to get that little problem resolved.
This is the way it should be when you call for help!

We had a 3rd floor condo bathroom, where the hot water pressure was barely a trickle. Showering, was incredibly ""refreshing"", but with the really cold weather, it became impossible.

The issue was not a building-wide issue (the hot water risers had been replaced a few years ago), so this was something within our unit. We called plumber #1 who said they'd have to rip out the tile, break into the wall, replace all of the pipes at a cost of about $2,500-$3,500. Yikes! $150.00 for the visit.

The building's management company gave us the name of plumber #2 who said ""nonsense! 'Dis is a Chicago Faucet... we do 'dis kid of 'ting all da time... no problem!"" They came out, pulled the faucet, pulled the handles and valves... and in the long run ($350.00 later) they couldn't fix it.

Each of these visits from plumbers #1 and #2 we had to have the water turned off in the tier... (no small feat).

The building maintenance guy told us to give Pressure Pros a call. Jay came out quickly... we didn't have to have the water turned off. He was on time, he was a nice guy... he lugged this unusual home-grown device, on two wheels, up three flights of stairs... plugged it into the shower nozzle, spent 20 minutes pushing pressure back and forth, back and forth... while we sat and talked.

When he pulled the device back off the nozzle, miraculously... without turning off the water to the tier... without damaging the bathroom tile, and without needing to use our Home-Equity-Line-of-Credit... we had more hot water pressure than we'd ever had. And all for less than $100.00. He didn't accept credit cards... but he said he'd mail me a bill.

I can't say enough nice things about Jay and Pressure Pros. They saved us thousands, they were professional, nice, neat and showed up on time. What more can you ask!?

Best service ever, saved me thousands of dollars. I had terrible hot water pressure on 2nd floor, and I was sure I was looking at a costly re-piping job. Jay came out, same day, and completely fixed the problem in less than an hour. Anyone who is going to replace pipes needs to try this first - was ridiculously cheap also (less than $100).

We were contemplating busting through our wall to get to the plumbing to fix our painfully slow hot water in our shower. For a very reasonable price, Jay was professional and very responsive and he fixed the problem. Definitely call him to fix your pressure problem.

I have used Pressure Pro since 2006 and he has does a great job every time. Unfortunately our older building has pipes that sediment builds up and anytime I lose the pressure I call Pressure Pro. They are always good at working with me on a time to perform the job and they are always on time. If they had more stars I would give them more!
