BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I put in a claim with my home warranty and had an emergency do to a leak and asked to get someone out right away. I was happy (at first) that Presidential picked up the call right away and within a couple hours Jeff showed up. Jeff comes in smiles and jokes around and assures you he's taking care of the problem. Its all a big scam with PRESIDENTIAL, I now realize. Jeff filled out the report so that it was in his benefit and so he wouldn't have to come back. He stayed approximately 10 minutes and got his $75.00. This is what this company is doing read the reviews. We tried calling the company numerous times and it just goes to a voice message with no return call. I had to call my Home warranty and complain and got a LEGITIMATE PLUMBER to my house who fixed the problem. Don't buy in to Jeffs phoniness, its all an act. PRESIDENTIAL IS THE WORST

This company was sent to me by my homeowner's insurance (first american) for a faucet leak under my kitchen sink. Jeff, the technician that came over, checked and said I need a new faucet. He took a picture of my existing faucet and indicated that he would submit it to the insurance company for approval, and I would hear from him within 1 or 2 days maximum. Well, on the second day, by the afternoon I did not hear, I called the company to find an answering machine, no one picked up the phone. I decided to contact my insurance company, to be told that Jeff the technician indicated that I yanked the faucet head which caused the leak, and that would not be covered under the insurance......what? I was beside myself, I yelled at the insurance company representative and told him that no one yanked the faucet, and that is ludicrous, and a lie, this is a very shady company, and is not to be trusted. PLEASE DON'T USE THEM very dishonest. I requested a second opinion and the second company (Very honest O.J. Plumbing) fixed the leak and my faucet is working fine.

Yelp really needs to make zero stars an option.
Full story:
Put in a claim with FA Home Warranty on a Friday for an emergency. I had 2 leaks from 2 separate shower faucets that started the night before. One of them was filling up a 5 gallon bucket within a couple of mins. I had to shut off the main water valve to the house. I unscrewed one of the faucets to see if there was a valve behind the shower wall. I didn't see anything other than what I later found on YouTube to be a cartridge that needed to be replaced ($25 Part at HD or free when you call Pfister warranty). When I tried to put the knob back in it's place it slipped out of my hand and cracked when it hit the tub. I went to Home Depot and I purchased a knob being certain than the warranty company wouldn't cover the broken knob, as they shouldn't. Meanwhile, both shower faucets are still leaking.

Jeff comes out from Presidential Saturday morning. Seemed like a nice guy right off the bat. Looked at it and diagnosed both leaks to be due to bad cartridges. I told him about the knob falling and breaking and that I went and bought a knob in case warranty didn't cover it. He told me not to worry about it and to go return it if I have the receipt and that he would take care of it first thing on Monday. Charges me the service fee for coming out and leaves after some small talk.

Meanwhile, the main water valve of the home is still shut off and the only way to use the toilets is to go out and turn the valve on and then off when done. This is in a home where my son is physically and mentally disabled, where diapers are used, caregiver in the home from 12-7pm, with 5 people living in the home. We ran a garden hose from the backyard into the home for cooking and washing.

This is where the nightmare started. During one of the main water valve shutting on and offs for my son's caregiver to use the toilet, the main valve went bad. It stopped turning right where I had shut it off.

From Monday morning till Friday, after over 35 calls to 35 different people at FA warranty, and 3 claim denials I realized that Presidential is the culprit here. In the report that Jeff gave me he wrote ""homeowner tried to fix - broke off handle"". First American interpreted this as the leak was caused by the home owner. Now the interesting part is that in his one sentence report Jeff made no mention of failed faucet cartridges (picture attached). He only writes that he will call First American with report. AND he makes no mention of the other shower that DIDN'T have a broken handle and was still leaking. So First American denies the claim and when I asked them ""what about the other faucet?"" they say the contractor made no mention of it. This is irrelevant b/c when I put in the claim I told them about both showers even if Jeff saw both faucets and didn't make mention of both.

You're starting to catch on. You realize that Presidential gets called out to 100s-1000s of these little warranty related jobs per year, charges a $75 service fee per job and does the job if there's enough money in it and if it's a waste of time then it's between them and the warranty company how to f you.

During my 5 calls per day to FA, each rep would say we're waiting on Presidential to get back to us on the other faucet. I tried to get in touch with Jeff via the 2 phone numbers on their receipt to just ask ""why?"". They don't pick up their phone. Just a voicemail for you.

Keep in mind that FA does not cover plumbing outside of the home including the broken main water valve that is attached to the side of my house. Broken b/c we had to use the restroom and then shut it off again. No one ever puts that much use into their shut off valve. So now I'm stuck with a $550 valve replacement cost that my warranty company won't cover.

I finally get a call on Friday from Brian at Presidential. This is a week after the initial claim. Off the bat he was on his high horse! I bet he didn't like the fact that he couldn't get out of a measly cartridge replacement, or maybe because the claim was escalated via FA to the ""Contractor Relations Department"". Rudely says we'll be there on MONDAY between 7 am-11 am. 4 hour window lol. No consideration for what time works best for me or even asking first. Brian, people work on Mondays bud, especially between the hours of 9am-5pm. I responded with ""that's very professional of you guys"". Brian you're easily baited dude. I just wanted to see how much you care. Or if you were aware of our pain and suffering for the week. He responds with ""You're being sarcastic now?!"" which tells me that he wasn't too happy before making the call. I responded with a simple question... ""do you guys have a yelp account?"". He said he'll be calling First American to cancel the service call. Overall it was a 1 minute conversation (picture inc). When I said I'll be sharing my experience on yelp he said ""go for it"".

Our home warranty company sent Presidential to clear our drain. They called back quickly to set up next day appt. Jeff was awesome. He was prompt and worked quickly. He gave me a lot of valuable information as well. Hopefully I won't need them again, but would definitely recommend.

I was assigned presidential buy First American Home Warranty because my hot water heater had gone out. I received a phone call from Jeff and within 24 hours he was out inspecting the repair. Was informed the hot water heater needed to be replaced and would be covered under warranty. I was also told that it was not installed to code originally and I would have to pay several things to bring it up to code. They would not do it without otherwise it would not pass inspection.

After getting the run-a-round from other plumbing companies contracted through First American Home Warranty, Presidential came through. The technician, Dave, troubleshooted to find the issue with our kitchen sink. He was able to save our faucet and save us from buying a new fixture. Scheduling was quick and easy and Dave arrived right at the beginning of the estimated window. Dave was so helpful and patient with all of my questions, he even gave me some tips and tricks to keep my plumbing in good working order, highly recommend!

I needed to get my broken garbage disposal fixed, and Presidential Drain was assigned to me by First American. The experience could not have gone smoother: someone from Presidential called me within minutes of my filing the claim. They suggested an appointment the very next day. About a half hour before the appointment window, I received a call from Jeff saying he was on his way. He arrived at my house right at the start of my appointment window, he was friendly and polite, he got right to work, and he had my garbage disposal fixed within 10 minutes. It was as positive an experience as I've ever had with broken appliances. Could not recommend them more highly.

They failed to return to fix a problem. I had 8 people in my home and no working facilities. This company was assigned to me through my home warranty company. After calling Presidential 3-4 times, the guy finally calls back and when I explain that not only did I have 8 people staying at my home but the stoppage caused sewage and water to back up into my sunken tub in the master bedroom. This was an emergency situation but because it was the holiday weekend he said he wouldn't be able to send anyone until New Years Day. I wan't to tell him to get off his lazy butt and come and fix it himself but he was such a jerk to me on the phone that I didn't want to waist my breath. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.....the worst customer service ever.

Worst service ever. Deserves no star at all! Assigned by the First American Home Warranty (a total scam by the way), tried but didn't resolve the problem first time. Waited a whole week and claim the problem was a pre-existing issue and the Warranty company denied the request. NO communication whatsoever and left the whole family with NO hot water during the holidays for a whole week.

We used them to fix our hot water heater. The technician came back three times and the last two said he has no clue. I asked if he called Bradford white - the manufacturer of our heater and he did not and would not. This is a lazy ass technician. They literally left me with my pants down - dirty. We were stuck with no hot water (showers) for 10 days. Luckily we had other means to keep clean. They never picked up the phone to call me back and update me on the situation. If I could give them a negative 5 I would. The next company we used came out and fixed the issue in 20 minutes. It was a control valve. They said they would have called the manufacturer if they were not able to diagnose the issue - it's common sense in the industry. Any way I am sure they are good at unclogging fescies. That is where they belong.
