Our home warranty company sent us here and to be honest I was very wary after reading the reviews, but my experience was great. Dave showed up on time, was friendly and professional and was able to fix our garbage disposal and clear the drain for our washing machine with no issues.

Follow up to my initial review.
He submitted to FAHM that nothing was wrong when it clearly smelled like gas in the garage. Obviously a leak right? After SoCal Gas detected the leak. Nope, not according to Dave it was perfect and apparently SoCal Gas doesn't know what they're doing even though SoCal Gas came with a gas detecting machine and Dave came with ONLY a spray bottle.
FAHM sent out a different company(thank goodness) who detected the leak and fixed it on the spot.
Don't hire this company unless you're trying to waste your money& time and get talked down to :)

First American assigned Presidential when our water heater went down and upon reading these reviews, I was concerned.
However, the service was top-notch. I reported the issue Christmas Eve and understandably they weren't able to get someone there to evaluate the situation until the 26th but they were there first thing - which was fantastic because my fiancée went into labor early on the 25th. With my parents visiting and taking lead, all went smooth and they were able to get a new unit ordered and in the next day, again, first thing in the morning. It was such a relief having that resolved with a newborn coming home with us.
No I didn't expect them to have the unit with him on the initial visit and evaluation and yes I did expect some costs, as it was clear from my home warranty that they did not cover some upgrades to bring it up to code. The unit is an upgrade and the installation is clearly better than the 15yr old setup I had previously. Paying ~$600 on something that would usually cost 2k and up is a good deal.
It's clear that a number of these complaints are a result of the expectations of the home warranty coverage and response, possibly not understanding the initial step to determine what's needed, and less so having to do with Presidential directly.
Appreciate the job and timeliness in my experience with them!

Garbage disposal stopped working. First American sent out Presidential plumbing.
The Tech came with a smile and very professional demeanor. He tested our unit and saw that it was fried.
1) He ordered a new one, scheduled return date AND KEPT IT! Like he said he would
2) He replaced the unit in less than 1/2 hour with a waste king unit. cleaned spills and left with a smile.
unfortunately didn't have cash on hand and when I wanted to venmo a tip, he said "" don't worry about it""

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Horrible service and rude. First Home warranty sent them out to fix a garbage disposal. Dave was condescending when I asked questions. One of the two impellers fell off and he asked for something to grind and said it's fine to just have one impeller than 2 and which made no sense and then left advising to call First Home warranty if I didn't agree with the outcome. He showed up with no tools or anything but a clipboard and ran out. I can see why the reviews are 1 star. I told him on the way out that what is the point of him coming out and giving an excuse to not fix anything and I understand now why the reviews are one star. Stay away from this place.

This company is not a good company, I would give zero rating for this company. They take weeks to answer call and always their phone line goes to voice mail and take a month to come to your home to see and find the issue

As everyone mentioned he is worst contractor. I wish there is negative rating system. My warranty company sent him and he is so rude and just finding excuses for not doing work / deny claim. I created request for Kitchen sink drain issue, hr didn't even touch anything and left. Very unprofessional company. My warranty company & I called to fix it but he didn't pick any call from 15 days so they set some professional plumber company to clean kitchen drain. He just like free money. His aim is to show some excuse so he should not require to do anything and claim will deny and he ll get his service fee. Full scam.

One of the worst companies have ever dealt with! No customer service does not return phone calls. They came out. I'm going to have to call a real plumber. I'm not sure how they're still in business.

These guys are 100% scamming the home warranty system. They take your job, show up, say they can't fix it and leave. They collect their service fee and keep it moving. I'm convinced this dude had zero intention of ever fixing our issue (He even showed up to the house in a button up and jeans). The plumber who i eventually had fix our issue said he used to work for a company who instructed their plumbers to do exactly that... show up, say you can't fix it and leave.
Do yourself a favor and if this company is assigned to your claim, request someone else immediately.

Let me just get to the point here and not waste your time.
Dave the plumber is the most unprofessional person I've ever encountered. He was assigned to us through our home warranty for a water leak we are having. The water leak is coming from our master bathroom shower. Dave came out on a Monday confirming the water leak and stated the shower handle cartridge is the caused of the leak and that we would come back to replace it. He came back Wednesday of the same week to replace the cartridge but broke the casing that holds the cap for the shower handle. So you can't close the the wall now with the shower handle. Said he would order the part and come back next week to fix it. Meanwhile we can't shower in our master bathroom until it's fixed. Which is fine, coz we don't want to cause additional water damage to our house.
After he replaced the broken cartridge and break the shower handle casing we proceeded to show him the water damage downstairs from the leak and asked him to take a look and make sure the leak is indeed fixed and what is the plan to fix the water damage. He simply told us the leak is fixed, but did nothing to confirm the leak is fixed. We are just to take his words that it's fixed. Didn't want to look at the water damage and tell how what's the plan to fix it. What he did is told us he will not be coming back. He is removing Presidential Plumbing from the case and we'll have to call our home warranty and have them send someone else. PERIOD!
Who does that? Who comes to your house to break something else and not come back to fix it? And removes themselves from the case?!!!!!
This company need to be reported somewhere and remove their business license from ever operating again.
