First American sent a plumber that wanted to take apart my whole sink. I rescheduled, and they sent out Presidential for a second opinion, and the guy fixed my leak in 15 minutes. DONE. He was neat and clean total professional, and I will request him again when I have plumbing issues. Not sure about the bad reviews; but they were absolutely excellent in handling the claim as well as taking care of the problem. First class.

Do not hire this guys or reject them if the insurance assign whatever project to them.They rip me off $ 777.00 when they installed my new water heather for what they said were new city code modifications.I did agree with the $ 777 estimate thinking they were going to do mayor modifications and they ended up being installing a drain plate at the bottom of heather and a gas sediment trap ( about $ 50.00 in parts) it took one guy 2 hours to complete whole job including installation of new water heather which is cover by insurance. SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS.

The technician came out to fix our water heater and we waited 6 days for the part to come in and for him to come back. When he came back, he broke a part where the gas line goes in, which caused it to leak gas. He did not inform us of this but did inform the warranty company that a new part was needed. The gas leaked into a small garage for 2 days before we found it. Fortunately, no one was injured but this could have turned out very differently. This was an absolute danger on every level and the gas company had to come out and deemed it a hazard. He obviously broke the part, knew about it (as the warranty company was informed), and then left without telling us there was an issue. This person is a danger.

THE SHORT
If your home warranty assigns a work order to this company, ask for someone else.

THE LONG
Last week, Dave arrived at 7:45am. I had taken the day off work to meet him. Showed him the problems we were having with the bathrooms. Then it started to rain outside. He became agitated and said he needed to go out to his car for a part. When he came back, he said that he didn't work in the rain and had cancelled 8 appointments that day. And he said it like he was justified in canceling. He also said he didn't have the part in his car and would have to come back another day. He wasn't at the house longer than a few minutes.

I had taken the day off to fix the bathroom problems. Not only were they not fixed, I had no idea when he'd be back, and he took off with the broken part.

I emailed him the next day. No response. Waited another day. And another day. Sent a second email. No response!

This company and person is a scam. He showed up, claimed to know the problem, replaced a part and left. The problem came back again in 2 hours and now he does not answer phone calls and when he did once, says there nothing he can do although there's a 30 day warranty for the work he did. I would highly recommend to not use them

Came out through First American, replaced a leaking shower cartridge backwards, so hot is now cold and cold is now hot. Requested return visit and they refused, stating I have water and its no longer leaking so as far as they are concerned they did their job. Asked 1st American to please drop this crappy vendor. Call at your own risk!

I had processed a work order through First American Home Insurance. Immediately after I called Presidential drain cleaning and plumbing to schedule an appointment, Dave had answered almost immediately keep in mind this is about 7 pm. He scheduled me an appointment first thing the next morning no problem at all. The next morning at 7 am Dave W. Shows up. A professional and knowledgeable man listened to what I had to say and resolved my issue within the first hour.( other clients cases may vary). Basically I'm saying don't always judge a business by the terrible reviews you happen to see on yelp. Big thanks again to the Dave's over at Presidential for promptly resolving my issue a day before Thanksgiving.

Like many people, I read yelp reviews before I use a business and I was hesitant when my warranty insurance assigned Presidential as to fix my runny guest toilet. However, the owner, called me immediately and reassured me that his company would take good care of me. The next day, Dave came exactly during the window timeframe that they had given me. Within minutes, he figured out the problem and installed a new flapper and the toilet was fixed without a hitch. Dave was very professional and did not mind me hovering over his work. He also took the time to explain everything that he did. I really appreciated the service that Presidential provided. The moral of the story for me is that sometimes reviews can be misleading and it's worth giving a business a chance.

Have you ever met a company with service persons that truly hate their job and it shows? They not only did a half complete job at my home, they were non-communicative and rude. I cannot recommend ANYTHING about choosing them.

It took several days before they could come out. We had a leak in the bathroom tub which they fixed. Later in the day, I noticed it was still leaking. I called them 3 times to schedule another appointment and no one returned my calls. Warranty is for 30 days... Now they have my money, and no where to be found. I would not recommend this company.
