First visit he arrives with no tools, messes with slightly leaking valve on top of furnace and makes it leak worse ( now spraying!) before leaving saying he doesn't have the part and will need to do some research and get back to us. Next day shows up unannounced when no one is here to supposedly fix it, we haven't even had quote yet, leaves phone message saying he was here.
Finally we get him booked a week later, my husband books day off work to be here and the guy doesn't show up. Husband calls to be told he's cancelling because it's raining and he'll need to reschedule!! Job is on furnace in basement, which thanks to him messing with the valve has been leaking worse than ever but he can't come out because it's raining??? He lives in the same town, can't be more than 5 minutes! It's honestly a shame, he seems like a nice older man, but you can't mess people around like that. Ended up having to call someone else further away and more expensive but the puddle in the basement is becoming a pool.

Tom really knows his stuff. It's tough finding honest people these days but Tom does a great job at a very fair price.
