It's tough finding reliable contractors in Summit County and sadly Premier has proven it yet again. Having used them before for another small project (work was great, but communication & being on time was lacking) we were hopeful this project would go well. Sadly not.
We had arranged a date and provided a detailed description of our small project months out. A few weeks before our work was to be done I followed up and they actually didn't have us down for the appointment. Say what? Not good, but we can be flexible and we re-scheduled for a week later.
Then, just a few days before the work as to be done we get a call late on a Friday (before a holiday weekend) that they 'probably' can't do the job. Probably? What kind of non-answer is that as we're about to complete our demo?! We attempted to communicate over the weekend and only received short non-helpful replies and lame excuses as to why they suddenly can't do the job. Unbelievable.
This is simply no way to run a business and sadly we were left hanging and will have to push our project out. Effective communication is half the battle and frankly business 101 type stuff. I'd stay away from Premier unless you like being left in the dark.

First Premier Plumbing overcharged us $900 ($150/hr x 3 plumbersx3hours) to replace PB piping in my condo unit. They used cheap not up to code crimp connections to connect PB pipe from under the floor to plex which two lic plumbing contractors (PSI and design mechanical) both stated are not up to code. On Nov 7 there was a major glycol leak in the small BR and another in the bathroom floor board heaters that caused major damage to our unit and they refused to honor any warranty told me to get a lawyer and sue them.
so far I spent $900 for emergency plumbers to temp stop the leak, $1290 to mountain pride to remove contaminated carpet, $985 Lowes replace carpet in the room, $390 PSI plumbers to temp reinforce crimp connections loss of $500 children personal items total over $3000. It will cost $15000 to redo the job correctly replacing all the PB piping under the floor boards and probably over $15000 drywall construction to to gain access to the pipes under the floor. It wa a nightmare.

Premier Plumbing Summit County: I have used Premier previously, but their workmanship and service has deteriorated, and I would never use them again. They were called for a nonfunctioning hot water heater. After assessing the situation, Patrick and Melvin announced that it needed a new pilot assembly, and they would have to order the part. They said someone would get back to me. I have never heard from them again, despite calls to the company.
In the meantime, I called another plumber. After assessing the situation, I was told the problem was a leak/crack in the exhaust cylinder and water in the flame area. As a result, the heater had shut down. Rust shows it has been an ongoing problem. They also found that Premier had left the grommet unsealed in the combustion area, and some foam had not been replaced. I took a look, and even I, unexperienced as I am, could clearly see the water, the rust, and the unreplaced grommet. Premier had clearly taken apart the heater. They should have seen the water. Total incompetence. An ignition assembly would not have solved the crack.
Plus, this plumber got me up and running temporarily until they could replace the heater.

These guys are not only unfair on there prices, there quality of work is beyond poor for being considered a plumbing company. Had a boiler installed last year and already had to completely redo the work. Not only did they charge 4-5 times what it cost to do the install, the job done was horrible. They are a sorry excuse for a plumbing company and i would absolutely never recommend anyone use them. They will steal your money and leave you dissatisfied.

I found myself in quite a bind with a leaking water heater ,and damaged sub-floor, so I called on several plumbers in the Summit County area. George immediately returned my call and made it over to my house on very short notice to correct the issue. He also worked with me to start the refund process for the original faulty water heater that was less than 3 years old when it started leaking, had electrical issues and needed to be replaced. I would highly recommend George and his company!
