Let's just say, they lie about a job being fixed, take your money, then you realize the job wasn't fixed after all and they will not refund your money or attempt to rectify the situation. A BBB complaint has been submitted and they have yet to respond. Will be going to small claims court next. Please get a second opinion before using this company and do not trust them when they say the issue has been fixed before paying your money. You have been warned!

A very nice fellow; he could not diagnose the squeak in the 2 yr. old faucet. Instead he cleaned out 2 aerators and charged us $175.00 plus a $49.00 service call.

Very very very expensive - I had read several reviews and really thought I had made a good choice.

We are really unhappy with Preferred Plumbing. Our service tech was nice and professional and it appears he did a good job. But what we were charged was outrageous.
We were unable to run any of water or flush toilets, so we felt really stuck in the moment to turn them away. They didn't even give us a choice of the faucet installed. When they gave us a quote they wouldn't even give us a price breakdown for parts or an hourly rate, even though it took him at least 20 minutes in his truck to make a quote.
We ended up paying $800 for bathtub faucet and valve stem repair that took under two hours of work and when we looked up parts after they left, they could have costed only 200-300 dollars. So that means we were charged a labor fee of $500-$600 (including the service call). I guess they quote you on worse case scenario's.
It's a really terrible feeling. I wish we would have known how this company is not upfront with their pricing before we called them. I did try to email and left a message afterwards in hopes of working it out, but they didn't respond, so hopefully this help someone else.

Preferred Plumbing provided same-day response for a plumbing issue at my residence. It ended up being merely a clog in the drainage line, much to my relief. Job cost estimate was provided during the initial phone contact & again upon arrival, after the problem was identified. During the process, I was kept informed of the measures needed to resolve the problem, and they proceeded to address the problem with homeowner's approval.

Kevin and his guys do a great job. Had some pipes hammering and he quickly diagnosed the problem and now no more hammering pipes.

We called Preferred Plumbing when our basement toilet would not stop running. Kevin fixed that toilet and checked the rest and worked on those as well. We are very pleased with his service. We will definitely be calling them again in the future!
