Our daughter's friend flushed a toy in the toilet by mistake and it clogged it. Preferred plumbing responded quickly, were to ready visit same day and kept me updated about the arrival time and window.
James was the plumber. He was very respectful, honest and suggested the most cost effective solution even though I was thinking of a costlier option. Will definitely call these guys again when I need some plumbing work

Scheduling disaster...

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate last Thur for this Monday... Then got a call from them late Friday with a suggestion that a Sat time slot is available. I accepted. On Sat they started calling at 7am (and a few times after) to confirm the appointment again, because they were not sure if it's correct (looks like they still kept Monday appt record). I didn't have my phone around to respond, so they cancelled it..

Then there was an attempt to move during Sat, they couldn't make it. Then they scheduled for Sun morning. Nobody showed up, no calls.

And now they're calling me on Monday morning to confirm if i still need my old appointment..

I appreciate proactive calls, but if you're not keeping your records properly and if one person in your call center has no idea what another just did, it doesn't make things better.

If it's so bad just to do an estimate, i would rather go with another company.

Erik, arrived within the allotted time. Did a great job, we were able to use our bathrooms after un clogging our pipes. Helped out with the after cleaning too.

My first yelp review! It took friendly staff, good follow-through, and exceptional service to finally get me to give back to the yelp community - so here it goes. My initial need for a plumber happened when my 11-year-old water heater finally gave out. After doing some googling and asking around, I went with a friend's referral - Preferred Plumber. It was a good choice and I can't say enough good things about them. I was initially connected to their site's manager (Ron) who couldn't have handled our transaction anymore professionally. He broke down the process, made a seamless transition to one of his staff, and followed up after completion. Highlights of the work - arrived when they said they would, estimate didn't change even though things got a little tricky, and the guys were friendly and professional. Now part 2. I had a clogged kitchen sink that I thought would clear using a snake from ACE - all I got from that process was smelly hands, a sore back, and a whole lot of wasted time. Again, phoned Ron and my second experience with Preferred Plumbing, like my first, went off without a hitch! Same great service, prompt, and professional. And like our first interaction, the work took a bit more time and required a little more effort, but the extras weren't reflected in the cost. Different staff the second time, but the guys, like the first time were great!

I had a plumbing emergency. Preferred plumbing was able to get someone out right away to accommodate my needs.
The technician they sent was Adolfo. He was COVID ready which was a concern of mine during this pandemic. However he was tremendously knowledgeable. I had so many questions throughout the time he was here at my home. He never once got irritated it annoyed. He was so friendly and answered all my questions. He definitely put me at ease!
I would definitely recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs. I will surely only reach out to them in the future.
