After my previous review, one of the managers, Ronnie, reached out to me. He explained how the tech that came to my house was only on his second call with the company and did not follow the right protocol. Ronnie apologized for the issue I faced, promised to update the training on their side, offered me a full refund on the service and additionally offered labor credit on the next job.

I called preferred plumbing again for a shower clog in the shower. The tech that came this time was extremely knowledgeable in figuring out how to reach the clog, as it wasn't reachable directly from the shower drain. He was also upfront about the cost of the job.

While other plumbing companies may also offer similar quality, I am happy that preferred plumbing addressed the feedback I submitted and made sure that I don't have a negative experience again.

In Fremont, Rio came to my house on a national holiday of all days to fix my plumbing crisis! I am SO thankful for him! He was friendly and efficient and worked until he found and fixed the problem. I was afraid I would have to wait until after the long holiday weekend to get help but he came and relieved all my stress and worry! He is an excellent employee and I would refer him to anyone!

I asked for a quote on a Sunday morning from Preferred Plumbing through Yelp and they responded very fast. One of their employees (Genesis #1) came out within an hour and replaced my water heater. He did a very fast and efficient job, and had a new water heater by the afternoon. Thank you!

I recommend Preferred Plumbing and Drain! We had work done by an employee by the name of Albert. Needed some fixing done in our bathroom, he did the job. This man was very polite and minded his own business. We got a decent price quote and clean work. Will be calling back for him in the future if we have any more plumbing issues.

I called them to clean the clogged sewer line last week and ask them to give me a quote for the line repair using camera to identify the problem. The representative told me $195 for the first hour and the estimate is free. When the technician has done the work to clear the line he said the camera service would be $500 extra. after arguing with the service manager for half an hour, they agreed to use the camera to find the problem and give me a quote for free. They charged me for 2 hours which is $380 and offered 30 day warranty on the work. 3 days later the line was backed up again. They refused to honor the warranty to clear the line because there is root in the sewer line. Again after arguing for half an hour, they agreed to come to clear the line. They said it's all clean after an hour. 2 days later, the line is backed up again. I first called them 9am in the morning and didn't get any response. After repeated calls, finally the service manager responded around 7pm saying they need to charge to come out to fix it. The work wasn't done properly first time and it's still in warranty period. I wouldn't want to keep paying them to correct the problem they should have resolved the first time. Please avoid them at all cost. Their experience is questionable and they don't honor their warranty.

This company has excellent customer service from their managers to their dispatchers. They are quick to respond with an ETA. I want to especially thank James for going above and beyond to fix multiple issues I had with my kitchen and bathroom plumbing. I highly recommend reaching to James if you want the job done right. Our kitchen faucet broke and detached from the basin. They were very fast to respond and send out a technician to us. They were accurate on arrival times and kept me updated! When Marcos arrived, he was very quick, he got the part and returned back in a timely manner and I didn't have to question anything. He was extremely informative and straight to the point. I'm very pleased with his services & we greatly appreciate that he was able to complete everything before lunch time (when we needed to use the sink the most)! Ty again for everything Marcos!

I recommend Preferred Plumbing & Drain and if you can request Michael (#34) for your service all the better. After countless of phone calls to other plumbing companies w/out answer or return calls, Preferred Plumbing & Drain was able to deliver same day service. Initially I was hesitant since I called three times throughout the day in two-three hour intervals, but the dispatchers always assured me a technician would come that day. They were professional and attentive.

Enter Michael (#34) who arrived in the late afternoon/evening from a job in Hayward to my place in Milpitas. I had a leaking pipe in my garage where the water entered the house. The water had been leaking for two days at a fast pace, so I was relieved a technician showed up. Michael (#34) assessed the situation and was able to diagnose the problem quickly informing me that my water intake valve needed to be replaced. He provided me a conservative estimate for his time which he was able to outpace lowering the cost from the original estimate. He also let me know which parts were needed to complete the project.

What I appreciated most from Michael (#34) was the professionalism and thoroughness he displayed during the service. He explained what he was doing step-by-step and didn't mind me watching and asking questions. He seemed very honest and I didn't get the feeling I was being taken advantage of. After the repair was done he showed me how to adjust the water pressure to my house.

Overall I'm very happy with the service provided by Preferred Plumbing & Drain. The service was done quickly and at a much lower cost than expected. I received a quote from another company and it was 2x more than what I spent. Don't forget the $20 coupon online for their service!

Last month both toilets and both showers were plugged and overflowing. Ernie came out tried everything to clear the blockahe, finally having to go under the house. Once it finally cleared, it was recommended that the configuration of the back to back toilet pipes, be corrected.

Today Perferred zplumbing sent Ernie and David to go under the house and correct the problem. They worked for hours and finally corrected the problem. Both gentlemen were fast, efficient and polite and I am very appreciative of their work and final result.?
