Humberto has done excellent work and I would highly recommend him! I wish all of the people we hire to maintain or repair our house were as conscientious and persistent as Humberto. We had a shower that needed repair and I have had two other plumbers look at it and neither followed through and/or were able to solve the issue. Humberto took care of it quickly and it works great now.

Humberto was great, he kept in touch during the the week to ask about the work we were requesting so that he could be as prepared as possible and bring the correct fittings for our outdoor shower install. He arrived on time and spent ALL DAY working on the project and didn't give up even though he had to keep going inside and outside in the rain to do the work. Even when it got dark outside he kept working until the job was done. I really needed the job to be done that day so that other work did not have to be rescheduled so it really helped me that he didn't leave until the job was done. He also bid the job pretty low, way less than others. I was so happy with him that I gave him a $100 tip. He deserved it after putting up with all that rain that day that complicated things and made for *miserable* working conditions. I really encourage you to give this company a try. A nice guy who is starting his own business and gives great effort and deserves your support. He doesn't have a lot of reviews but so what, people have to start somewhere, right? You'll be glad you called him!

Water heater making some hissing noise. Humberto came by on a Friday night and even went to Home Depot to get a part to fix the issue. Highly recommend.

The water heater at our rental in Monterey gave out on a Sunday! Received numerous requests thru Yelp and decided on Preferred Plumbing. That same day Humberto purchased a new water heater and installed it. The pipes of the old water heater did not match up with the new one so he had to relocate the pipes. He did an excellent job. Reliable, honest and hard worker. We highly recommend Humberto.

Had a broken tub/shower faucet. Humberto replied quickly with reasonable estimate. He came by to review what was needed and came back next day with parts to replace the tub/shower spout. Very honest with pricing m. Paid for his estimated labor and materials which He showed me the receipts too.

I called preferred plumbing on a rainy day on a Sunday and he answered right way on my message. After I explained the situation, he headed to my house. Our problem was worse than I imagined (really bad clogged drain). He worked hard and he managed to fix it. I highly recommend Preferred Plumbing.

15year old toilets were long overdue and needed to be replace. I didn't know any plumbers in the area and began to look online. Those that I contacted wouldn't give me a general ball park over the phone, even when I would happily provide photos with the toilets removed. Humberto gave me a quote immediately and came the same day. Great service, highly recommended!!

Water heater had a slight leak on a Thursday evening. Contacted several plumbers, all of whom said they could possibly send someone out to give us a quote but would be unable to send out someone to fix the problem until the following week??? Charge us to have someone look at it and then send out an actual plumber on another day, ridiculous. Humberto responded immediately, came by the next day and did an amazingly thorough job! No quotation fee, no runaround, no bullsh*t! Highly recommend!
