Richard H. Was out this afternoon, to clear our sewer line and search for broken pipes with the camera. Thankfully, the pipes were all still intact, and the clog was taken care of. Richard was very professional, and extra considerate towards my 83 year old father. He took the time to make sure everything was explained in layman terms, and his field expertise was easily noticed. I would definitely use and refer him for any plumbing problems. An overall five star experience.

Call them to fix our tankless hot water heater
Ask if they work on them when I called they said all the time.
Technician shows up and says he will look at it.
My wife find him on YouTube looking up how to fix a tankless hot water heater.
I didn't know he was on YouTube when he gave us the quote $1100!!!
Told him to fix it one day later and $1100 later fixed nothing!!
Stay away!!

Xavier came out to our house on a Saturday afternoon to look at our furnace that was not heating. He quickly diagnosed the problem and offered several options for us to chose from to fix the issue. He was polite and explained things well. I would recommend him and Precision for HVAC needs. They do good plumbing work as well.

I had a countertop installed with a new sink. Under sink had a leak after the installer left and I called Precision Plumbing, they came out within the hour and fixed my leak.
I was charged $1,340.00 (yes you read this correctly)
Talked with a plumber over the weekend and he said it was a $100.00 dollar job. A bunch of con artists at this company taking advantage of seniors like that.
1 star because I have no choice but their ZERO in my book!

I just had my Spring inspection for my air conditioner done. Kyle the service pro tech did an excellent through job of checking the system. He was courteous, and polite. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. Thank you Precision for hiring and sending such a qualified tech to my home. I hope to see him in the Fall for the winter check up.

Had to call Precision Plumbing for a Chicago house I own. The challenge with not being able to speak with someone face to face is that you can't look them in the eye and read them as a person. As an out of state homeowner, I have to really learn to trust a service provider then I become loyal to them as a business. A plumber came in and started quoting $5K of work that needed to be done. They questioned our water heater (purchased in 2011), wanted to re-do the pipes and change them to copper, rip out bathroom walls and suggested other services. After picking my jaw off the floor, I called someone I trusted in the area. Brought in a second opinion and all of our problems were resolved for a fraction of the cost. We needed to just change the faucets and a few pipes under the sink. Absolutely no problem with the water heater, as I suspected. Spent less than 10% of what Precision was quoting. Beware of Precision Plumbing.

I had a leaking water heater and didn't have time to shop around and get estimates so I went ahead and scheduled with this company since they were local and had decent Yelp reviews. The tech that showed up was courteous, did a good job, and cleaned up after the work was completed so no problems there.

I have two issues with this company.

First issue is with their pricing which is ridiculously high and basically a rip off so my advice is for you is get some other estimates before choosing this company. Actually my recommendation is to not even use this company. Again I knew the estimate was outrageous but based on timing constraints on my end, I went ahead with the work.

Here was the scope of work. Replace a 40 gallon gas water heater. It was a 6 year warranty contractor grade AMERICAN® water heater probably no more than $600. There was some additional piping replacement, replaced flue pipe, gas valve, shut-off valve. All minor work I would estimate the parts at no more than $100. I was charged around $1900 total for the job.

Let's do some math. The guy showed up, scoped the job, generated an estimate, did all the work, wrote up the invoice, took payment and was all done and gone in around 3 hours. $1900 minus $700 of materials is $1200 for labor. That's $400/hour. The guy even tells me the rate is high because they have to charge for travel and a bunch of other misc crap.

Second issue with with the product they resell. The AMERICAN® water heater is a piece of crap. The shower and sink faucets have to have the cold water almost turned off in order to get any hot water. I already have the temperature setting on the water heater set higher than normal. Any higher of a setting and the water would be dangerously scolding. I did not have this problem with the old water heater with any of the faucets. I think the guy even knew he sells a crappy product and this is a known issue because he told me if I don't get enough hot water to try turning up the temperature setting on the water heater.

If you like an inferior product and getting ripped off, then go ahead and give them a call otherwise keep looking. Trust me, reading this post just saved you a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Could not have asked for better service. Billy was at my home within 45 minutes and had my leaky valve replaced within an hour. I would absolutely use them again and asked that my pipe be tagged with Precision , Awsome job
