This company actually canceled on me twice. They called me in the evening and were very rude. I would NEVER use this company. Customer Service is terrible I can't imagine the work they would do.

No drainage from our home so we called for help. The tech showed up same day, but he was completely unprepared to work in someone's home. He brought 1 drop cloth (not large, not waterproof). He didn't have anything waterproof to protect carpet, furniture, etc. He didn't have anything to catch the water/waste that would come out when opening a clean-out in someone's basement. He didn't have any towels/rags for cleanup. He refused to help move/protect anything (said he's not allowed to touch any of our stuff). He refused to help with any cleanup. He didn't wear any shoe covers (he's the sewer guy; we know where those boots have been). He used our flashlight, pipe wrench, water-catching bins, and towels since he wasn't prepared with his own. When he opened the clean-out, he created a huge mess (think sewer) that we had to clean and sanitize.

The tech's ""estimate"" of the actual repair bill continued to go up as time passed (although his diagnosis of the problem never changed). The final ""quote"" was 25% higher than his initial estimate and included a warning that they would kill 2 bushes, trim and possibly kill a tree that might be in their way, and destroy one of the finished walls in our basement (because the access to the drain area that was built in wouldn't be sufficient for them).

We used a different company to complete the actual repair. We saved 20% over Precision's last estimate/quote. They removed and replanted 1 bush, but didn't bother the second bush or tree at all. And they worked around the existing interior access so no damage was done to the finished basement. They didn't leave a mess in our home or yard.

I used Precision last December to install a dishwasher and fridge I bought. That cost me $640 for less than a few hours work. I felt ripped off and called to complain ( the fridge and dishwasher cost barely over that)
As time went on, the dishwasher wouldn't clean very good and it wasn't securely tightened in the area it was installed. It got to the point where the other day it didn't drain at all so I called Precision ( this was last Sat am) I left a message to have dispatch call me to set up and appointment. I got a call back 4 hours later apologizing for the delay and to call back. I did call back and guess what??? It's Wednesday and I haven't received a call back. Thankfully it wasn't a real emergency or Id be really stuck.
Possibly the worst customer service I've received in years and paid $640 for a job that wasn't even done correctly.

Disappointment does not begin to describe how upset I am with Precision Plumbing's service. Precision Plumbing came out to do a system check but failed to diagnose several critical problems with the unit because they did not complete all the services they were supposed to do. This oversight resulted in the unit needing to be replaced.

I had Precision out for a maintenance check on my AC unit. I was told it needed a complete electrical overhaul and that they only got it to start by bypassing a broken part. I was also told I had a leak and needed it sealed and recharged. I was given a quote of 1100.

I received a second opinion the same day. The second opinion was nothing was broke. I called Precision for an explanation and have not heard back. Be careful dealing with these guys. Never again for me.

Service Tech Dan M was prompt, took time to figure out solutions versus just trying to sell services and upon completion, he took the time to explain what caused the problem and how he fixed it. Prices were high, (Not his fault) but I would recommend Dan to do the work.

Technician Dan M. arrived at 12:00 noon. Explained the work to be done. We were aware of the $49.00 trip charge. Explained thoroughly what he will do. Here comes the flat rate STICKER SHOCK for ""rodding the kitchen sink pipe"" - $338.00 less $33.00 (senior discount) = $305.00. No time check out on Invoice #122181. Approx. time 1+ hour including 'explanantion' time. Lesson learned by us and inquisitive neighbor. Therefore, the customer does not know the cost until the technician has arrived and gives you the quote. Based on information that we now have. You can pay the $49.00 trip charge and tell technician to leave or continue the job at the price he quoted you. WHAT A LESSON WE LEARNED TODAY. WE ARE SHARING THIS, AS WE WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE. PRICY IS AN UNDERSTATMENT. MODRIS GALENIEKS

The technician was very friendly, so friendly that he wasted 1/2 hour telling me about his personal problems. Then he gave me a quote to give a facelift to my shower head (I had the hardware) would cost $386 ($560 if they provided the hardware) and to replace a piece of plastic in my outdoor faucet would cost $120. He admitted the work would take less than on hour. No thank you!

Technician came on Thursday, and finding the cause was not the water heater did not charge for the service call. Very personable and thorough tech. The technicians who came Friday were experienced, personable as well and did a great job at tackling the problem. All were great representatives of the company. As a homeowner, these folks totally understood the situation.

Absolutely horrible and a rip off! I had a leak in my hot water tank called them out was told they needed to drain my hot water tank replaced the drainage valve and there was a possibility it could break off which would require me to buy a new hot water tank. I questioned when they said it was corroded possibly inside how PVC could corrode and they said with the tank they don't know until they get to the inside. PVC plastic does not corrode called boss plumbing in glen ellyn all it needed was a To close it off and no charge. My minimum payment would have been $550 all the way up to 5000 if I needed a new tank. I have been fooled too many times from them and very upset I will never use them or refer them ever again do not use precision plumbing
