Patrick is a solid and honest plumber. If you want four seasons warm face towel crystals on your chakras then go find a sycophant to massage your ego and be willing to pay for it. He's not that. He's a plumber.

He and his crew showed up, banged out a really complicated job at a very reasonable rate and did it on time. His crew is ""jolly"" as one other reviewer put it. They sang and joked the whole time. It was fun having them around. They also are some of the hardest working dudes I've ever seen and I was a roofer back in the day.

I appreciate the direct and minimal communication because I'm worn out with emails, updates, etc....blah blah blah you get from corporate hell. He said yes, they showed up and did the job. I gave him a check, we shook hands and that was it. Thank you Patrick.

I know some clients have complained about the owner's interpersonal skills. I went into the agreement with a clear understanding of the scope of work and what it would cost. His bid was competitive, sensible, and felt fair. Patrick and his crew were on time, got the job done at budget, and arranged for the EBMUD inspection the same day, which greatly reduced my waiting time for receiving my PSL deposit. I had no problem with his firm, and would happily hire him again.

Patrick disconnected my sewer line, then called to say he was going to charge me another $900. I understand that it took his workers longer than expected remove the concrete to get to the sewer and I would have been flexible about paying for extra labor. But, it was super swarmy and dishonest to wait till the sewer was disconnected to raise the price. I pushed back and he threatened to tell his guys to pack up and leave. He was rude, aggressive and belittling. We settled on a slightly less outrageous amount.
He continued the job, and disconnected the exterior drainage pipes from the sewer, which I believe is city policy. Then he simply left drainage pipes disconnected and with no outlet so they would back up and seep into my garage. Ha, ha, Patrick. I get it. Joke's on me.

We recently purchased a home in Oakland and we needed to replace our sewer lateral given the age of the house. Our agent recommended that we reach out to Precision Sewers, who provided a very reasonable estimate. Patrick and his team completed the job earlier than expected and the test passed without issue. Further, they did this during a rainy season on a busy street. So if you're a new homeowner, it's worth giving precision sewer a call.

Patrick helped me to replace a private sewer lateral at my rental property a few years ago. It was job well done. This time, I need it done in my own house. He provided a very reasonable price. The other quote I got was twice as expensive. His crew came, finished the job and arranged for inspection on the same day. It was job well done again. Patrick knows his stuff. I am a happy customer once again. For PSL replacement, I won't go to anybody else.

I saw some review complaining job not completed on time. I just want to say, things are not always in contractor's control. If the inspector does not show up as promised, not much a contractor can do. If the concrete does not cure as expected due to wet weather, the orange cone has to be left for a longer time or people will step all over the wet concrete. Always build in some time buffer for surprises in life. Both homeowner and contractor will be happier that way.

We had a bad experience working with Patrick, he tested our sewer lateral then didn't follow up with an estimate for replacement when it didn't pass. We had a misunderstanding about the billing for the testing and he sent us an email months after the fact to collect money. We missed the email and a few days after it was sent he shows up at our house unannounced on a Saturday morning. He was angrily trying to collect his money and it was alarming and hostile. There had been a simple misunderstanding that we were quite willing to fix, things did not need to be so unpleasant. Patrick's approach to the problem was intense and inappropriate, bordering on scary. Add that to the flaky service and disorganized books...

With a recommendation from our neighbors, we called Patrick at Precision Sewers for a sewer lateral job. We had a couple other places come out for an estimate, but they were all spooked because it was an apparently difficult job...old pipe underneath the entirety of our manicured landscaping back to the junction. He assessed the situation, smiled and said he understood why the other companies walked away, but gave us a very reasonable estimate for a trenchless pipe replacement. He was in no rush to explain the whole situation with me...how they worked, why EBMUD requires the certificate, etc...We were under some time constraints with EBMUD, and he did everything he could to get us in asap. I went on a 5 day work trip and by the time I got back, the work was done and we had a certificate for the lateral job. They apparently dug a few huge holes and broke up concrete to get to the pipe, but by the time I got home it looked like nothing had been done...amazing. Friendly workers, great communication, excellent work, highly recommended.

This guy deserves 0 stars. Terrible customer service. I'd rather pay twice as much to anyone else than to deal with someone who can't even speak to you with any decency. Sounds like you roll the dice when you call ""Patrick"" maybe you get level-headed Patrick or evil Patrick. Good riddance.

Precisions sewers handled our PSL line replacement when we bought a new home. They were detailed, professional and fast with the work. We've had no issues with the work they completed. Recently we had an un-related issue, and I called for support, Patrick and team were here within an hour and solved my non-related issue. Highly recommended.

Most of the poor reviews here all have something in common. Most people talk about Patrick's attitude, poor customer service, and how he treats others. I called him yesterday to come out to give me a quote for a job. He sounded irritated when he picked up the phone. Not a good start but I'll try him out anyway despite reading the reviews here. Today he came over and the first thing that I noticed were two guys wearing two muddy combat boots coming in from the rain. Instead of putting on their booties, they walked through the house leaving mud prints all over the wood floor. They stopped at the bottom of the stairs and Patrick at this point was annoyed that he couldn't walk on the carpet because of his dirty boots. I can sense that he was irritated when he had to take off his shoes. When I asked why he doesn't have booties to use in customer's home, he made an excuse that he doesn't need them because he never need to go inside. At this point he was irritated even more that I asked him a legitimate question. He said ""you're going to get on my case about booties now when I already made a trip up here"". ""You already got me taking off my shoes."" At this point, I knew he had an attitude and He doesn't have respect for someone's house. To drag mud into a customer's home and get mad because you had to take off your shoes is outrageous. I'm glad I asked you to leave. As you walked out and slam the door behind you, you probably didn't noticed a young man standing there observing your demeanor. He is your competitor and he works for a reputable plumbing company. He was in uniform and he had booties on. Their protocol like most other service companies are to have them on when they enter a home, rain or shine. Most importantly he had a warm friendly personality. He was shock about your demeanor and the mess you left behind. I suggest dropping by a hardware store, pick up some booties to cover your shoes, think about how you talk to your potential customer, and most importantly have respect for someone's house. You wouldn't like it if I show up at your front door and drag mud into your home. Take some pointers from your competitors.
