I am extremely impressed with the high level of customer service, sense of integrity, genuine care and professionalism that I received from Evelyn who answered my questions over the phone and helped schedule an appointment and by Raymond who actually showed up to fix the toilette. I had a problem with my toilette which was caused by the mistake that a handyman had made in changing a par and using the wrong part. Long story, Raymond, precision rooter's technician, called in advance of his arrival. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and professional. He found the main problem which was the angle stopper of the toilette that needed to be changed before he could change the part. He was extremely fair and showed great sense of integrity because since they didn't handle angle stopper repairs he agreed to not charge me for his visit so that I could have someone who managed that kind of repair handle the whole job. I was extremely appreciative of his honesty and integrity. It means a lot that they care about their customers to the point of giving up profit. Later I received a very kind follow up text from their office despite the fact that I had not done business with them. That I call real genuine and professional care. I highly highly highly recommend them. You can tell they are the real deal! Thank you precision rooter and drain team for making me see that this is still goodness in this crazy world! Our sewer withstood the recent storms thanks to Precision Rooter. Our service person was knowledgable and considerate. He attempted old style rooter I requested, but our clog was too great. So he showed me and got approval for the water jet service. He finished the job in the dark, staying to ensure water was flowing out properly.

Note: One company wanted to blame poor workmanship of modern sewer pipe installation (by our friend who is a pro) and charge twice the price to redo his work from 10 years ago. They also incorrectly located a clog in the only place we had not replaced pipes. We declined and called Precision to do a simple rooter job for a fraction of the cost. We are satisfied customers that will remain loyal to this local company.

We had a clogged drain that was backing up into our garage. Precision Rooter responded late in the evening and sent Mario early the next morning during the 2-hour time period promised. He solved our problem (by unclogging the drain) efficiently and courteously. Highly recommend.

Scheduling was very easy and courteous. Unfortunately I paid them and they were unable to unclog the drain with a snake and left after 40 minutes without solving the problem. My handyman (who was unavailable before) came with his snake and unclogged it in one hour.

What happened? Mario came to snake my clogged drain pipe. He was very nice and friendly and stated that it would be one hour charge if there were no complications. He tried but was unable to unclog the drain with a snake from the drain opening. He then explained there would be a $50 additional charge for him to drill a hole inside another part of the drain pipe and I agreed. After drilling a hole and snaking he said there was too much mud in the pipe and he could only hydrojet for an additional charge of $1000 or I should have someone else replace the pipe. So basically I spent $375 with no resolution.

As my wife was draining the tub, water started coming out of the base on the toilet. The bathroom was partially flooded before we plugged the tub. I messaged Precision that night, they got back to me with a prelim quote. Next day, I called to make an appt, they showed up the same day. The dispatcher was courteous and helpful. Mario, the tech, who showed up to do the work, explained everything to me and helped me understand why it happened, how to prevent it in the future and what to do if it happens again. Excellent experience given the potential disaster on a cold, rainy night/day in SF just as we were leaving for a trip the next day.

We had a couple of very slow draining situation's in our house and sought some quotes online. Precision was one of the only companies to respond with an actual approximate estimate rather than just promising a free in person quote. We didn't want to have to coordinate a number of different companies coming through the house and trying to make those decisions on the spot. We understand that a company can't make a firm estimate without seeing the scenario in person and perhaps even until the work is fully complete, but it was nice to have a reasonable range to go by.

They were prompt and snaked the drains efficiently, leaving no mess and offered us a 30-day guarantee. Hopefully we won't need their services for a long time but it's nice to have a trustworthy, go-to plumber.

I had an issue with our main line to the street line, caused by the construction in our neighborhood. After going on Yelp and sending out a note to several plumbing companies, we went with Precision Rooter because they were responsive and offered a competitive quote. I know there's always apprehension about choosing a company to perform emergency services like plumbing, but I guarantee you can't go wrong with these guys.

It was easy to schedule an appointment and Ray came by on time and was very easy to work with. I had an issue with popping open the metal covering in my drain in front of our garage (it was full of dirt and grass was growing from it) because I hadn't been able to get it open. Ray offered to look into it for me and he was actually able to open it with some tools he had. How many places would try to charge you an extra arm and a leg for that? I was so happy once he was able to do it and I told him I could clean it out while he worked on hydro jetting my pipe. But Ray said he has a bucket and he cleaned it out for me too. I had to give him a tip after that!

My pipe was serviced quickly and without issue and everything is working great. I definitely recommend Precision Rooter and will use them again in the future for all my plumbing needs.

Although the snaking done by Precision fixed our symptoms (slow kitchen drain), it didn't fix the root cause. It recurred after 4 months (work had a 30 day warranty), and when they came back their only suggestion was snaking in the reverse direction
