Muhammad came last night to inspect the clog I was dealing with. At first, I had a toilet clog, but I tried going down with a 25 ft snake. Couldn't find the clog and since we were doing renovations for the other bathroom and the toilet was out, so I tried in the other drain. I still couldn't catch anything! I reached out next morning and talked to Muhammad and worked with Luis. Muhammad gave me the real talk because I was triple checking for a clean out access that I thought my dad put in years ago. He understood where I was coming from and was really friendly and realistic about the different options we had. Great person to talk to! Next morning he came back and I showed him the sewer access I found the night before. He went up to the roof to send a camera down the roof vent to inspect the clog but that work ended up clearing it. He was really honest and said that the camera cleaned it out and looked at the open toilet drain. It was clear! The drain works, but as a handyman myself, I know I needed my own clean out access. He sent Luis over to work on the project to see if we had one. Luis and I worked together to get a new two way clean out in place because we found there wasn't one. All in all, project was successful and I was happy we took care of this. It's people like this that make things work.

Muhammad managed to help me with my sewage line replacement all in a single day. The older sewage line had quite a bit of roots and sewage weren't flowing properly and back flows were coming out of clean outs. His quote was the lowest and he gave me the most confidence and was the easiest to work with. He came all the way down to San Jose to do this work. He suggested pipe bursting to limit the areas that he needed to trench and then checked and cleaned the lines after replacement. No hassle or anything.

I called another plumber with 700+ reviews to help remove an old shower cartridge that's stuck and whose tip broke so it is hard to pull it out. He said he can't do it and and we should just replace the entire pipe assembly which is going to cost $1,300! I knew that's BS because I saw a video in YouTube that this is actually common thing that happens even if you use a cartridge puller - the stem would usually come out but the body would get stuck.

I called Muhammad and specifically asked if he knows how to solve this tricky situation and he said he did because they've already encountered this many times. And he even sent pictures to prove it. He came by and was able to pull it out in under 30 minutes. He was also upfront that if the cartridge can't be pulled out, he needs to replace the pipe assembly, but his quote is just half the price of the other plumber!

He also helped us drain the water heater that couldn't be drained because the drain valve got clogged with sediments. He fixed the issue, and, what's more, he replaced the valve with a regular faucet so that it would be easier to unclog it in the future using just a wire. Other plumbers would probably have put back the old one so when it clogs in the future, I'll have to call them again.

What's more they are honest. I was about to pay him $25 more because I forgot that they used the cartridge I bought from Home Depot, but he reminded me about it as I was writing the check.

I called up Muhammad for a leaky valve on my old rusty pipe. He showed up the next morning with his crew and discussed his plan and cost with me upfront. In the middle of the fix, we found bigger problems with my old pipe and had to take plan B and repipe the section from city water supply up to my valve. Though this happened unexpectedly, I have to do this overdue upgrade from galvanized pipe soon anyway. Muhammad and his team did an awesome job and charged a fair price. He did everything according to the plan and we had our new pipe and running water. Before leaving, he asked us to check every faucet to make sure the water is running fine. We found that our kitchen faucet got clogged, and he immediately came in and fixed that in a couple minutes. He also asked for feedback about whether there is anything he could improve in the future. The luckiest thing in the unlucky day for me is I called the right person. Hope you don't ever need to call a plumber, but if you have to, I'd recommend Muhammad.

My Takagi tankless water heater stopped working a couple weeks ago. Called several companies to diagnose and give a quote. All come out the conclusion that the heater is unable to be repaired and need replacement. However when it came out the quote I was kind of shocked on the big price gap between the quotes. Part of the reason is because most of the tankless water heater contractors only deal with specific brand. And they tried to convince me that the new brand is much better.
My actual requirement is to stay with Takagi heater but upgrade to the current module with matching capacity and external dimension so that I can utilize the existing tube and the wall mounting holes without a big amount of plumbing. Muhammad is the one who carefully reviewed my requirement and provided the most reasonable quote that best matched my expectation among all offers.
He and his assistant just installed a new Takagi heater today. I've been watching their work and appreciate their efficiency and experience level on this. They complete the job faster than what is estimated with very good quality. I'm happy I did enough comparisons of different offers and find out Budget Water Heaters that can customize their service truly based on my requirement without trying to advertise me more expensive solutions.
