Had a hot water recirculation pump that was leaking. Called on Tuesday morning and James asked if it was emergent or not. He said he could maybe do it that afternoon or on Thursday. I picked up a new pump to have here when they came. He texted about an hour later and said they could come now. Placed a new $10 plug instead of the $300 pump! Also fixed the thumping in our hot water heater. James and his son Casey were friendly, thorough and cleaned up completely when they were done. I invited this company to give a second opinion on a mini split a/c that worked but was noisey. I received a coupon in my Valpak for a free second opinion. Thompson told me repair would be 2800 and new unit would cost $6000 and since my unit was so old, probably I should replace.

I made one more call. I had a small h/vac company come out. My unit was under warranty. It was $180 and runs quite and works great. I also have 3 more years warranty.

I notified Thompson of warranty and that I had repairs done under warranty- they tried to expalin and reason- but the truth is- they were not honest or doing their home work for me.

I did my homework and had the repair completed under warranty- and also know that IF or WHEN I need a new unit, I should cost less than $3800 installed.

Our water heater broke on a Sunday, and were at the house at 8am on Monday to replace it and haul away the old heater. I have had James and Precision Plumbing in for other issues over the years and he always has been timely and very efficient.

James called back, asked a few questions, then directed on how to relight the pilot light (the directions that came with our water heater were for a different model). James knew our unit and exactly what to do, and walked us through the process over the phone. Polite and patient. Will call him for any future plumbing needs. Highly recommend.

They were able to do the work the next day and they came in removed the useless old water heater, put in the new water heaters, cleaned everything up and removed the old heater. Semi-desperate after four days without hot water I called Precision Plumbing on a Sunday afternoon, expecting to leave a message requesting service. Very surprised when James picked up the phone as if it were a regular business day! I had purchased a water heater at Home Depot the day before and was anxious to get it installed. James penciled me in for 8: 15 am Monday morning (the next day!) and showed up early with his son Casey to perform the installation. He had previously instructed me on what additional parts to purchase to bring the water heater up to code. The father and son team worked like a well-oiled machine and made installing the 50 gallon water heater look easy (I know it isn't). They were finished and had cleaned the work area in just a little over an hour. Awesome. I would not hesitate to employ Precision Plumbing again, and in fact would like to use them in the near future to replace the water softener. FIVE STARS!
