Wendy T.Awesome guys. Efficient, quick-thinking, professional. Highly recommended. They came over to fix a problem made by a rather unprofessional company that had refused to come over and fix their original work. I am thrilled with the result.
We needed to have a trap replaced under our laundry tub. The young plumber made a mistake and the owner immediately came with a new laundry tub to correct the problem. We were not charged to solve the problem. I love to do business with companies that stand behind their work.
Liz P.Tyler came over on a Sunday when my washing machine hose had broke, thus flooding my entire house. He figured out the problem quickly and came back today with another employee to install the new hoses.
A neighbor had recommended Precision Plumbing and I'm glad she did, the Sunday rate was a little expensive ($300/hour) but apparently others in the area can run $400-500/hour for OT on Sundays. Normally it's $160/hour for the weekday rate.
Thanks for showing up so quickly and diagnosing the problem easily.
Sump Pump issues, called and made an appointment and PP was here the next day. We do have a ""water-driven"" sump pump, but our initial pump failed. We also have a ""sealed"" sump pump as the pump pit always had an odor. I was worried that they would seal it properly, but the plumbers knew exactly how important this solution was and took great pains to test the results, then seal the unit and leave it all working and sealed properly. Totally satisfied!!!
Percision Plumbing came out to do a simple snaking of my drains for the winter and we ony used them because our neighbor uses them, they broke their coil in our drain pipe and charged us to get it out and they didnt get it out and told us it was our problem to get it out, and I found out they charged our eldery neighbors $200.00 to put a toilet seat on, they take advanaged of the eldery and they take advanaged of the people in Detroit! they never would have done work like that inTroy!
David M.We have a plumber that we have used for quite a few years for our rental properties and for an occasional issue with our personal residence. We just had a home problem with a dripping shower that would not shut off completely that was about a drop every five seconds; about an ounce per hour or a pint and a half every day...
We called our plumber, then texted, and then got a response that he was up north, meaning unavailable. Because he was out for at least a week he referred us to Precision Plumbing, Inc. I called and they were able to set up an appointment for two days later, which was today. I got a courtesy call when they were about forty five minutes from arriving and that is about when they, Jacob and Tyler, did arrive.
They were polite and brought their own shoe covers (common but not everyone does) which they put on immediately. I described the problem and they shut off the water and began to disassemble the shower faucet. They cleaned it and then reassembled it and turned the water back on. It still leaked but much slower.
Since this brand faucet, Kohler, has a lifetime warranty on this part, they suggested I locate my paperwork from when it was originally installed in our new build house. Then contact the manufacturer and they would send me a replacement valve ($75 value). Then they could come back to replace it. And they gave me a veterans discount of 10% off.
I knew it was in a box in the basement so I spent 30-40 minutes searching. Fortunately, things were better organized than I thought and one thick envelope was labeled as Plumbing! I retrieved what I needed to contact Kohler for the warranty replacement part.
Long story a little less long, after some back & forth with Kohler to provide answers to their questions to verify purchase, they finally honored the lifetime warranty and shipped me a replacement part. I then called Precision Plumbing and they sent Jacob back out to change the part and test to make sure it no longer leaked; it didn't. Once again I was charged less as a call back and still got the veterans discount!
Precision Plumbing was subcontracted by my Builder-Contractor Itech Enterprises out of Birmingham to do the plumbing in my newly constructed basement bathroom during the fall of 2013. When the flood of 2014 happened and I got 2' of sewage water in my new basement, I did some checking into why this would have happened and found out that Precision Plumbing did NOT put in a backflow valve preventer as REQUIRED BY CODE per the Royal Oak Plumbing Inspector! Neither Precision Plumbing nor Itech Enterprises stood behind their work and lack of following code when building out this lower bathroom. I would not recommend them nor use them again.
I tried to get an estimate however they required the time to be before 4pm. I work and could not be there before this time so they wanted to charge me $75 dollars for a service visit just to get an estimate. They have no system in place for people who work during the day.
Judy R.Precision Plumbing repaired an indoor faucet yesterday. We have used them for our plumbing for over 7 years. They are always profession, courteous, and their prices are fair. They do business right!
Cookie P.These guys are great! The admin in the office was very pleasant on the phone and got one of their guys out to me same day. i had thought I had needed a new motor on my jetted tub but turns out the jets were just clogged. they cleaned them out, got it all working again and only charged me their $75 fee to come out. Very nice, clean and professional. Would highly recommend
