Lisa M.This company is excellent. Their customer service on the phone and in person is very professional. My furnace quit in the middle of February and they fixed it fast for a fair price. I highly recommend them.
Terri G.We received great service from Precision Plumbing. We called one evening and they were there the next day. They called in advance to tell me the plumber was running late which was nice because that then enabled me to make plans for the afternoon instead of sitting around and waiting. The plumber, Robin, also called when he was about 15 minutes away which was also a nice touch! He was a great guy who really knew his stuff (and it didn't hurt that the problem was much easier to fix than we had anticipated!)
Mrs. C.I called Precision to get an estimate on putting a hot water heater in. Terry came to give me the estimate. He took two measurements and left. I had questions as to where the hot water heater should be placed out of two locations. Terry gave me an estimate for one location. The estimate was for $2600. This is $900 more than three other estimates I have received. The estimate had a description of the work, basically, ""install hot water heater"" and the $2600 total. I told Terry of the big difference in estimates and asked if he could break down the work. He said no, his company does not do that. I told Terry that I should at least know how much I am being charged for the hot water heater so that I can better judge the other estimates. Terry said no.
I find it suspicious when a company cannot do business with transparency. Terry said that this is how they do all of their jobs because they sell systems. Terry should be familiar with most estimates being parts and labor. He should have explained that there would be no break down before coming to my business to give me an ""estimate"". It's ok if you want to try to forge a different way to do business, but you need to let people in on it first. My time was completely wasted.
We have a condo in the TC area that we use as a getaway from Detroit for long weekends and summer vacation. In mid-October we were up for the weekend and found out we didn't have heat. Called for service on a Saturday morning and a technician arrived that afternoon. He determined our 15 year old ""builder's special"" Goodman furnace needed a new circuit panel. We had the blower replaced in the spring and I wasn't ready to keep repairing this old unit. The repair tech took down some measurements and notations and Mike from Precision's estimating department contacted me the following week.
After agreeing on a price, I needed to figure out how we would get a new furnace installed when we live downstate. Our neighbors have a key and agreed to let the installers in and Mike assured me they have done many installations when the residents were not there.
We were just up this last weekend and I couldn't believe the quality of workmanship! There was absolutely no sign they had been there. No dirt, no mess, nothing out of place, nothing left behind and the install seemed perfect. We had heat and the Trane unit preformed better than expected.
I can not say enough good things about this company. I only wish contractors in Detroit worked this way!
I have had the misfortune of having to deal with two heating/ac system replacements in the last year with all the attendant estimate comparisons, paying the bills and satisfaction in two different states.
In our opinion, Precision P&H is in a league of their own in terms of customer service, product and installation.
Unbelievable customer service! I have been very impressed through the entire procedure. Service was wonderful and quick, even on a holiday weekend. I found everyone I worked with to reliable and trustworthy. If I have any future needs, I will give them a call.
5-stars all the way for this caring, yet professional service company. After a number of lengthy weekend phone calls where our calls were not only taken, but were given a serious amount of time with our problem/questions, Jeff worked nonstop for 7 hours and when he left, it was like he had not been there--clean, efficient, professional. Service after the sale--they came out and inspected all the work, answered any more questions, and even followed up with a phone call a week later--not to mention the suprise gift we received in the mail! We cannot recommend them enough! The Kingsley renter who gave PPH only 1 star needs to keep the drama down (we feel for all the health issues, etc., but this isn't a forum where that mattered) and quit relying on others to fix all her life problems. The rest of the reviews speak for themselves. THANKS PPH!!!
Lindsey R.DO NOT have them service you! We were renting from who I thought were friends and found out on Thanksgiving that their water heater was pumping carbon monoxide into the home. So as renters we notified our landlords. In the home there was a woodstove so my fiance was always in the basement. He has a heart condition and we also have a 3 year old son so this issue is VERY serious. Since we found out about their water heater my fiance has been hospitalized twice within four days due to the carbon monoxide. So the middle of December our landlords had persision plumbing and heating come to the house, which I thought was doing a CO reading on water heater boy was I wrong they were only there to do estimate since our landlords didn't want to pay service fee! They came back the next day to do CO reading...so I'm assuming they didn't like estimate amount to switch from gas to electric. The tech who came was an older male with glasses and white facial hair. And did the reading and sure enough he detected carbon monoxide and said he ""thought"" was due to woodstove. So we stopped using woodstove for about 3 weeks and cold and hot air was still pushing thru top of water heater! So I took it upon myself to have them come back to do another reading without woodstove in use. The SAME tech came back to house and TAMPERED with woodstove by shoving a bed sheet in chimney inside of woodstove BEFORE taking reading on water heater! When he should have taking reading on how the house sat! He then could not disclose any information to us but the first time he came he was telling me all sorts of information to me about the issue. Due to the fact it took them awhile to even have someone come out we knew this issue was going to be handled in court. And I believe they may have paid the tech off to make sure he got a 0 reading the second time he came to house! So if you want VERY POOR unprofessional service then persision plumbing and heating is you're company to call! I Will NOT recommend this company to anyone!!!!
Becky C.Cliff came and fixed our furnace in record time and for a reasonable fee. I was worried because last company we used charged us $100 just to come out and try to sell us a $3,000 new furnace and fixed nothing.
Precision was super fast answering my online appointment request (within 10 minutes) and the repair charge was $150, and he gave me some tips on better maintenance so we don't have the same problem. Felt like an honest and trustworthy company.
Adrian S.Good experience. Plumber that came to the house seemed very honest and peasant. Would call them again.
