I requested a repair of my shower (whole wall unit) because we couldn't get the cold to work. Plumbing rep came out and charged us and gave us 2 quotes. one for ~$650, second for ~ $740. we opted for total replacement. scheduled appt 2 wks ago. Day of & time of the appointment , I get a call & woman says, can't come, because we don't have the part. she's been trying to get ""the part"" for 2 weeks. I said- I did think it was a ""part"", it was a whole new shower wall unit. she says- ""we cant get that part... it looks like it came from Walmart or Home Depot"" and I would have to get the person who put it in to replace it. well thankfully it wasn't PRECISION PLUMBING . I'd give them a zero if I could.

The owner reached out to me via a very nice letter and a refund check for that service. I was hesitant to call him since I was not sure I wanted to keep rehashing these two disappointing experiences and thought I would get dismissed again. I spoke with him and he was genuinely concerned about my experience. He also was disappointed and very much wanted the opportunity to try to make things right and check to make sure everything was as it should be after Robin left. We were not in town and definitely not comfortable with anyone coming back to the house when we were not there, if at all. I thanked him for reaching out, for refunding our service (which was totally not needed since we actually did get a service done) and for openly listening to me, which I felt I did not receive from Jeff. I thought that was the end of it.

However, because of the owner going above and beyond to try to make the disappointing services last year right and our previous years of satisfied service, my husband wanted to use Precision again to continue our efforts from last year to try to get rid of the water softener beads McCardell Culligan flooded into our water system which clogged the pipes and essentially shut off the water to every sink, toilet, shower and other water line when they installed the water softener backwards and could not come out to inspect the situation for several days despite knowing I had no water. My husband returned in June and found Robin left our home as he found it, except for dirty cups. He booked an appointment to again have our lines blown, hot water heater thoroughly flushed and screens cleaned, which McCardell agreed to reimburse us for. He was side by side with the two plumbers from Precision. He was thrilled to let me know they did everything he asked for without rushing though and trying to leave early and felt Precision's service was back to what we had received in prior years.

Because there were so many beads released into our water system, the thorough flushing and blowing out of our lines (again) still has not gotten rid of them. The beads once again worked their way into the shower diverter so we only had cold water showers and also worked their way into a tub spout so it no longer stopped running once the shower was on. We had Precision out for those issues and to replace a failed gasket on a sink that failed prematurely from all of the blowing of the lines and cleaning of the sink screens for the beads. Since my husband was gone, we had a very good friend meet up with Precision. He also reported a very professional experience as well.

The owner really took my experiences to heart and coupled with the service experiences, it is going a long way to restore my faith in Precision. I am still not at the point to where I would want to have any one in our home without someone being here yet. We are hopeful that may come back too.

The guys showed up on time and went right to work. We had a problem with an upstairs toilet that was leaking through our ceiling. Another plumbing company had failed to see and fix the problem. The Precision Plumbing men carefully listened to when the toilet leaked and after pulling the toilet found exactly where the problem was. They fixed it and cleaned up nicely after they were done. We were very happy!

This company is excellent. Their customer service on the phone and in person is very professional. My furnace quit in the middle of February and they fixed it fast for a fair price. I highly recommend them.
