We recently had an earthquake valve installed at gas meter by Precision Plumbing on our home in Discovery Bay. The service was required by my Real Estate agent and State of California for the sale of our home. Apparently the agent was supposed to be present for the installation, he was not. My husband and I were out of town and unable to be there. The technician did the valve without anyone being there. It is a requirement that a homeowner or other responsible party be there during the installation process. This way the technician can inspect all gas sights to determine correct and safe operations. We got home that evening unaware that a Precision Tech had been there. There was No Furnace, No Hot Water, No Gas. We called their service line and spoke to Christine. She told us no service tech was available and walked us through resetting the valve. The furnace still would not ignite and there was smell of gas. Our next call was to PG&E . They were there immediately. PG&E explained that there was a gas leak from an elbow that was installed. He also stated sloppy work. More fittings were used than necessary. The main gas valve was half way turned on which was not enough gas to ignite furnace or pool heater. We called Christine and she appeared to be defensive and truthfully rude. She said we should have had her technician do the repair instead of PG&E. There was a strong smell of gas that required immediate and skilled attention. REALLY wait with a gas leak until they had time to do the job. Gas leaks are nothing to be taken lightly. Precision is not the correct name for this company because they are anything but PRECISE. More on the Incompetent side. Save yourself a lot of stress and grief and stay away from this company.

I needed to find out the brand for the valve I currently had installed (but the key identifying parts were broken off) and couldn't tell what the brand was.
I called and asked if they could help and I was told to just send some pictures and they would try to figure out the brand.
Within a minute I had my answer and they were right!

The company I contacted previously wanted to charge me $140 to identify the brand. So I was thrilled this company could help me without needing to send some one out or charge me for a min worth of research.

I can't say enough good things about this company's owner, Ron Harrison.

I've flipped three homes over the past 7 years and I've worked with a lot of people but I have to say that this guy is one of the most patient and professional guys I've worked with. I received Ron's information through another contractor and I'm glad I did. Precision Plumbing sent out a couple guys to install several new faucets in my home this past week. They arrived on time and didn't leave until almost 7pm. They were tired after such a big job but they got it done and did incredible work! There was one very small issue with a loose connection under one sink but Ron came right out (on a holiday weekend) and took care of it for me!

I had to meet a deadline for a garage project which required me to get a plumber out to remove a water softener sooner than expected. I hesitated in contacting Ron because I know how busy they are but although he was on another job, he responded immediately and told me he would fit me in his schedule. Even though my appointment wasn't until the following week, Ron made time and took care of it. That kind of service is rare these days. Also, my conversations with the lady in the office (Deborah) was always very courteous, kind and she took the time to explain the specifics of the final charges on the invoice. I appreciated that.

I HIGHLY recommend Precision Plumbing for any work you may need! These guys (and Deborah) are awesome. But thanks again Ron for your consistent patience, professionalism and for coming through when I needed you!

If you need a plumber call Precision Plumbing i have used them to replace my water heater and a shower, they did an EXCELLENT job, they are prompt, professional and know their stuff.

Precision Plumbing will always be my first call, and I will recommend to anyone with plumbing issues.

At little back story, I recently moved into a new home and was not from the area. I was informed the area required water softeners and the house was built for one. After watching some YouTube videos and contacting a friend we decided to install it ourselves.

After a week of leaks and issues it came to a head, on Saturday I found my garage to be filled with water which required turning off all the water to the house. I thought for sure I was out of luck because it was a Saturday and Valentines day.

After contacting Ron he came out within 2 hours to help me. Ron was able to fix the issue quickly and was more then reasonable about price. He was nice, and kept me in the loop of what was going on.

I do not usually write reviews, but because of how impressive my interaction was with Ron I wanted others to know this is a great company to use. I also want others to be comfortable and confident in contact him.
