We had our main line collapse, which made our basement start flooding. I called the owner to let him know our situation got worse and he made us a priority as we were having to pump water out of our basement. When the crew arrived, they were able to get the line open to prevent flooding in the basement. They did a great job of fixing the problem and cleaning up all of the dirt. Every guy on the crew was nice and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them and their services. I know we will be happy to call them out again for any other issues we might have.

Working with Precision has been a nightmare. In July our old, crumbling outside sewer lines had to be replaced, requiring that the yard and part of the patio be dug up. Precision dug a trench at least 10 feet deep, and in violation of OSHA requirements, didn't shore it up. When they filled it in, they didn't tamp it down. So within two months a sinkhole developed and our patio began bowing. We called every week for two more months, with them telling us they were backed up and would get out when they could. It's now December. We finally called another plumber yesterday, who scoped it and found Precision had used the wrong kind of pipe, and had not gone out far enough to resolve our backup problem, on top of causing the sink hole. And guess what - TODAY our sewer has backed up AGAIN, one day after that was discovered, all because they didn't go far enough to get to the source of the problem. That plumber is back again, working on it at this very moment. Fortunately insurance is paying for most of this, but now the buyers who have a contract on our house are getting cold feet due to all the work that has to be done, including the yard and patio having to be dug up (AGAIN). DON'T USE PRECISION!! They use unsafe shortcuts, do shoddy work, and refuse to fix their mistakes.

I had an emergency situation when my basement started leaking and smelling horrible. I contacted Precision and they sent a couple people out. They were able to fix the problem and were professional and timely. The cost was unexpected but realistic so overall the experience was A+
Would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again.

Wow. I'm impressed with how awful customer service is here. Really it's on a new level of awful.

I had an appointment scheduled with them for 9AM Friday to fix a leak. An hour passes and I call them to see if they were still coming. The person who answered said he had 2 people not show up to work. I sympathized because there was a heat advisory and they were probably very busy. He said someone would be available to come help at 5PM or 6PM. At 7:30 PM when no one showed I called and asked if they were going to come. He replied, ""2 people showed up and will be there at a quarter til 8."" I asked if he was sure, because it was now an hour and a half later and this was the 2nd time he had given me a time and no one has showed.

This set him off and he proceeded to scold me for having the audacity to be upset that he was essentially ignoring my planned appointments that I had scheduled my day around because, ""He has about 100 calls and it's very hot"". He then said

""We can just cut this off and no one can show up.""

So I said ""Yes let's do that.""

Let me tell you, I completely understand if it becomes busy and emergencies take priority and labor is low and everything falls apart. As a business owner, I know that if something arises and I can no longer meet a commitment with a client I would give them a call and offer to reschedule. Not IGNORE the client completely so they have to chase after me to know what is happening.

And then to be so incredibly rude on top of that, as if I should just be okay with being completely ignored when I planned my day around commitments that don't mean anything.

In short: DO NOT HIRE. YOU WILL BE IGNORED AND SCOLDED FOR BEING UPSET THAT YOU WERE IGNORED.

Sorry Fred. I just can't recommend you. Not after you cost me over $600 down my basement. I guess a flooded basement isn't emergency enough for you.

This company is not reliable in anyway manner at all. I understand that people get busy as we all do. But really be upfront and let your customers know what's up that way they don't walk and run around your schedule all day.

First, I had called Fred to come in and look at the damage I had in my basement.. so we schedule an appointment and he never made it, rescheduling it to next week. No communication either for anuthing, whatsoever. He still never came until my pipes started cooperating again. Sad to report that it came back and the problem came back worse this time. My basement was completely flooded. Fred was called again, Since he was the closest plumber approved by the insurance that we have. This was an emergency situation. Fred said hell be around 11. Never came. Then it changed to noon, then it changed to one. At that point, my worrying was increasing since my furnace is sitting in the basement with the damn water. So now I called my heating and cooling man. Sadly there was nothing he could do since the stuff he needs to work on are under the water. He advised me that the water needs to come down and out before it completely fries the circuit board. In my worry I call Fred again and he says he's on his way. It's already 4 pm. So I call to make sure he knows where we're at, since we have a schedule to run around as well. This is when I find out that he's not the one coming around and he'll have one of his workers come around and Fred gave me his workers direct phone number. So, I call the guy, (nice guy by the way, seemed to have no problem coming out and running to my house) he explained that he was just now getting out from a previous work he had to deal with. this is when I realize that my house is most likely the last stop of the day.

All of a sudden I get a phone call from Fred screaming to stop calling him. I had been patient with this guy all day waiting for him to come around and this is what I get.

Fred, I've never met you and I'm sure you're a decent man. But for real, you lack professionalism. And I don't know how you run a business with an attitude like yours and how you still have customers. I did recently looked at some reviews from your previous customers and it looks like I wasn't the first to have to deal with a situation like this. To the young man I had talked to the phone working for Fred, more power to you.

While on the phone with Fred, I explained to him the damage and because he was very unreliable I had paid my heating and cooling guy to fix whatever he could fix to stop from making it an even more of a bigger damage from my furnace. I told him, him not being around on time that he's cost me 6 hundred and something dollars. He told me to stop, to ""just stop"" because he said what I had wasn't a big emergency. And I told him I was getting angry Cuz he's made me wait for him all day. ALL DAY! I was getting mad. My husband was getting mad. Fred was mad. He told me to apologize. Apologize for WHAT? I guess I had to apologize for calling. For calling where he's at and when he's coming. He kept giving me times and never did he came or showed up ones. And all of a sudden the said, ""We are not a scam!"" Who said you were a scam. I just wanted you to show up. Never did I said that he was a scam. And then he goes, ""you either apologize right now and I'll send my guy to your house if not I'll tell my guy to come home."" I was so frustrated I told him not to show up in my house and never come to my house. Then I hanged up. I was so mad, I was actually crying when I got off the phone.

Sorry, after wasting my whole day waiting for you. I've ran out of patience of play with your game.

I called the insurance and told them what had happend. Luckily, they recommended an excellent company who came in right the next day to fix the problem.

No, please find someone else do fix your plumbing problems.

No one likes to find out they need a new water main. I have a Home Serve policy just in case. I was lucky enough that they use Precision as one of their contractors. They were responsive, and showed up at 8:15 this morning, ready to work in the rain! Four hours later, I have water, and they reseeded the lawn. I would recommend them to anyone needing this work.

Just a quick note because I had to put this out on the internet somewhere. These guys are great! I called Fred Fraley at Precision Plumbing because he was recommended by a real-estate agent that I know. I wanted him to come out and replace the main shut-off valve for my house which had a very slow, but annoying leak.
Instead of coming out and doing what I asked and taking my money, Fred told me that I probably don't have a problem that needed his help after all. He explained that those shut-off valves are made to be adjustable, and they have a ""packing nut"" which has fiber packed around the stem, and which is made to be tightened over time. I'm a little handy, so I cleaned the corrosion around the valve like he told me, grabbed a crescent wrench, tightened it just a little, as he suggested, and it's dry as can be.
That tells me all I need to know about Precision Plumbing. Thanks for your help, Mr. Fraley!

Too busy to be bothered with installing a new kitchen faucet and converting a portable dishwasher into a more permanent appliance. I suppose you'd need a bigger job to entice their interest.
