I was able to schedule for two days after I called. Doug arrived at my house right on time, and got to work. Mapped out my water lines, and found the leak (unfortunately, under the slab) very quickly. He was efficient, clearly knew what he was doing, and was able to answer all of my questions. Precision was a referral from a friend, and I would refer them to anybody that needs them. Easy to work with, nice, courteous and professional. Worth every dime.

I highly recommend this company. I have had a nagging issue in my house to resolve and Doug was very helpful in running some tests to eliminate possible problems that would have been very expensive fixes. I feel so much better now knowing that the problem I thought I had is actually very small and really a non plumbing issue not to be worried about. He gave me some very good suggestions. These guys are fantastic! The 3 of us, the technician (Jimmy), my plumber and i sat together and looked at the real-time video screen of the entire plumbing as they gave my new (46 yrs old) house a colonoscopy. Jimmy marked the video with notes and explained all my questions thoroughly. They post the video online, so you can see it again and share it if you have to consider a costly replacement decision. Jimmy was wonderful. Efficient, knowledgeable and a genuinely nice guy. There prices were very fair, less than what i'd been quoted by others.

From my initial calls with Doug and then Lori, Precision was easy to work with. Their service isn't cheap, but then their insight saved me from buying a house with a possible $10k repair pending. While I loved the house, I'll take the hit for $200 over a longer-term nightmare!

DO NOT USE. They completely messed up the diagnosis. They told my plumber where the manifold was and where they thought the leak was. TOTALLY wrong and cost me extra time and drywall repair. Would not respond to me. Waste of over $200. Use someone better!!

I was impressed with the thoroughness of Precision Locating. They gave me the peace-of-mind that I didn't have a leak under my house's slab or anything like that. They tested all pipes iround my house. But they couldn't test the pipes going to/from my pool.

I was disappointed that they couldn't find the reason why I am using so much water every month. They thought it might be my pool but I have since hired a pool leak company and they haven't found a leak so far either.

I guess I expected more with today's advanced technology.

We had Precision-Locating come out as they were recommended by a plumber that we had chosen for a water leak. We were told they recommended Precision-Locating to come out and find the leak. We called them and they came out very quickly to help us to try and locate the leak. We found the gentlemen who came out who is the owner named John, to be very focused on the problem and very professional. He really was very thorough and precise. He did find a hot water slab leak. The plumber was then able to locate a place in the wall to find the necessary piping and re-route the water pipe and bypass the issue. This saved us a lot of time, mess and hassle as we did not want them to dig into our expensive flooring and our drill the slab. We are very, very happy with the service that we were provided and would very much recommend them to others. They provide a top notch and high quality service. A++

Very competent, efficient, accurate and knowledgeable. The technicians name was John C... and he was very professional, helpful and friendly. He arrived early, completed the job within one hour and all of his findings were spot on. He located the leak in our hot water pipe, 8 inches down, and below the slab. The pinpoint location saved the plumber some time and saved us some extra money. Good job, John and Precision.

Based upon my experience, they should remove the word ""Precision"" from their name. After being referred to them by a decent plumber, their locations ended up being very imprecise, inaccurate; and ultimately requiring the plumber to contact them for clarification. The locations that were marked were off anywhere from one to five feet, as well as two locations being completely off. I understand there is some inherent error in their equipment and interpretation, but forcing me to unnecessarily cut multiple holes in my wall is ridiculous.

This was clearly a case of operator incompetency, and when I brought it up to the dispatcher (Lori I believe) she basically said it's the nature of the business and there was nothing that could be done about it; specifically I couldn't be refunded any $ (and I only asked for $50 back). At $200/hour, with the tech spending about 40 min ""locating"" only to have 3/4 of his marked sites being off, with no compensation for his error, I would advise others to stay away.

With that being said, I would like to close with a note about the individual Doug I initially spoke with. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke very professionally. Perhaps if he conducted the location my review would be positive.
