Precise plumbing is a rip off. My water wasn't getting warm/hot, so I called precise to send someone out to check out my hot water heater. When the man arrived, he didnt speak, very cold and unprofessional. He just looked at the hot water heater without touching it. Only asked how long the water hasn't been getting hot. Wrote up recommendations for over 1800. I asked, how did he know without checking it out, he stated, ""I just know"".
Long story short; called another company out the technician was very friendly and professional assessed heater and fixed the problem. (Relit the pilot)

I've used Precise Plumbing for two issues now and have been very happy with their work both times. First they fixed a leak in my kitchen sink and then two weeks later, fixed a super clogged toilette. David is very knowledgeable, great at explaining everything, and giving you info on how to prevent more problems in the future. Very fair and honest when it comes to pricing too. For the kitchen sink I had tried to fix it myself first and had purchased some parts already, so he only charged me their base visit fee to replace the parts and put it back together. For the toilette, he didn't charge me for the first attempt to unclog it with an auger since it didn't work and only charged me for when he had to come back with a water jet and camera and actually got it fixed. Highly recommend and so glad to have found a reliable and honest plumber for my home needs!

I use Precise for replacement of the waste drain lines underneath my home. I requested a city permit and was charged $375 for it. I never saw an inspector or received a sign-off for the work so I checked with the city and found out a permit was never pulled. They lied and cheated me out of $375. I called and texted them that I wanted $375 refunded to me - no response from Precise whatsoever. They are dishonest, I strongly caution against using them.

I had a leak 2 days before thanks giving so I called precise plumbing . Adrian the plumber came out to have a look see. The leak was below the kitchen sink and was the hot water valve. Things then turned sour when he had to go back to his shop in San Gabriel and pick up a part. Never did come back.
I called him a couple hours later and he told me he was on the phone and would come by after but again never did . I called again about 3.00 and was told he forgot and would be by tomorrow at 9 am . He never showed. We were stuck without hot water for thanksgiving. This is no way to run a business. Look at their reviews and see for yourself. I should have read the reviews before
Hiring this company. Undependable. Unprofessional, and liers .

I can't say enough good things about this company.
They have been our plumbers since we moved to Pasadena, through two houses, and their service has been amazing.

We had a leaky water heater as well as a faulty pressure reducing valve replaced. David was extremely helpful and patient in giving us all the information we needed to make our choices and did not try to pressure us into a particular direction. Communication was excellent and the work was done in a solid, clean and thorough manner. While not the cheapest quote we received the price was fair and as the saying goes: you get what you pay for. I will happily use them again in the future.

David spent a good hour with me going over what was needed to address a problem presented by the previous plumber. He wrote out a solution which I was able to use. He was very generous with his information and his time. I will use him next time I have a job to do.

Beware! They are extremely over-priced and will quote you for work that is not required. David (the son of owner) over-charged my 79 year old mother $400 dollars just to put in a $5 dollar gas valve behind her stove (but didn't fix the gas leak - she had to call the gas company to come out). Then David charged her another $660 to mount a hood onto her water heater with brackets along the wall/roof. All of this work took less than an hour for a whopping $1060.00 dollars. He then tried to get her to buy a new water heater that she didn't need and to also put copper piping throughout her granny flat. Beware because he then had her get on the phone with God knows who to give her social security and personal details to see if she could finance everything.

After all of this David forgot to give her the 25% discount he promised.

We had a clog in the main and did not have a clean out that was accessible. They gave us a reasonable price for unclogging the main which was full of roots all the way to the curb. They also installed a clean out between the houses. They broke through a previous septic tank which required to be properly back filled with dirt and gravel. There was an additional cost for the materials and they cam back 3 week later to fill in the hole. After the week of rain we walked out to a sink hole where they did the fill in. Its been 2 weeks for them to come out and look at the new hole and have yet come out to fill it in. Initial job was good but the follow up later was really poor.
