I was impressed the first two times I used these services, but was sorely let down the last two times I have used/tried to use Precise Home Improvement Services.

I had storm damage to my home and was charged for three days worth of work (24 hours of work total) to get it fixed, despite it taking half that time. Even though I was clearly overcharged, I paid it, and I went back for a quote on another two part job I needed done.

I was quoted a ridiculous number for half of the job, so I went through someone else out of sheer necessity (literally over $1K cheaper). It seemed that the business owner didn't like this and refused to do anything for me, despite numerous jobs and paying very well for work that should have never been that expensive.

There are people out there that want to work. Go with them and be good to them. I am loyal to the people that charge me in good faith and don't find reasons to get out of jobs.

Edit: I definitely have the right company.

Amin was super competent, responsive and friendly. I phoned to get a quote and he gave me a reasonable quote for the labor based on what I needed done and I had added a couple of pictures. He came out early next morning, looked at the problem and was ready to get to work. I needed the main house shut off valve replaced plus a couple of pipes tapped.
The city water meter valve was stuck open. I tried on numerous occasions to rotate with no avail. I even had another plumber try a few months ago when I had some warranty work done and that plumber could not move the valve.
Anyways, Amin manage (albeit with some effort) to finally get the city water valve shut off otherwise the work could not proceed.
When the other plumbing co was out I had mentioned about replacing the shut off value and he quoted me a price that was extremely high for a couple of hours of labor and limited parts cost.
Precise Home gave me a fair price and had the work done in a couple of hours. No surprises. He even capped off a sewer drain which was not in the original plan. I certainly appreciate the efforts.
I would certainly recommend Precise and will definitely use their services in future.
