One of the worst days in our marriage just happened! Our water heater decided to throw a tantrum, and was leaking from the top with a spray of hot water gushing onto the garage walls, and down to the floor. (We happened to be asleep and our dog very anxiously, woke me up. I could hear a faint high beep for a low smoke detector battery. Went in the garage and screamed to my even louder half to come down.) Long story short...Tom and Steve from PRATT""S PLUMBING came and saved the day, and our marriage...just kidding! Not only were they informative, friendly and thorough but they turned a near tragedy into another beautiful day at the ""ranch"". Thanks Tom and Steve! Diana and (Rick), OLYMPIA, Wa.

Great company... I actually first used this company years ago when we had moved into a home and needed to ensure there were no leaks happening behind the shower walls. The owner seemed incredibly honest and kind. Therefore, fast forward a few years our water heater wasn't working and our company we use is so backed up ... I saw Pratt's Card in my go to companies and saw he does water heaters. Not only did he send someone out within hours to fix it but first he asked for pictures and was discussing a safety button for me as he said he hated to send someone out to relight the pilot and charge me to do so for such a silly easy do it yourself thing. As it turned out not to be the case and a part needed replacing, I still appreciate the thoughtful gesture of trying to save me money and time... that was very honest and kind!

Last week on Apollo Street, Steve - a family member from Pratt's Plumbing - came to install our kitchen faucet and two shut-off valves related to that that installation. The faucet and separate valves were purchased at Lacey Lowe's on Yelm Highway who subcontracted out to Pratt's. ... ... Steve was very professional, knows his craft, and arrived promptly as agreed upon. In addition to that, Steve was very personable and I enjoyed our conversation as I hovered around his work. ... ... I certainly hope I won't have any near future plumbing needs, but if I do, Pratt's will be a real consideration. Thank you, Steve and family.

Another stellar performance! Another leak (different from last one, not a repeat), and they were here an hour after I called. Professional, reasonably priced, skilled - what else could you ask for in a plumber?

Wanted to replace a 50 gallon water tank that had a 10 yr warranty with the same thing. It was replaced with a 6 yr warranted tank but I wasn't told that. I found out when I looked it up on the manufacturers site. When I asked Pratt about this I was told that's what they always install but I was never told this. I was told that I might be able to get an extended warranty but it would cost me $300. I said I should have gotten a tank with a 10 year warranty in the first place and I didn't believe I should have to pay the $300. I was told Pratt wasn't going to pay it either and then he hung up on me. I will never use them again.

Tom was great. Got out right away to hook up equipment and take care of things. More projects on the way and look forward to working with Tom and his crew when I need them.

Steven was prompt, courteous and did a great job fixing the watereak in my kitchen. New toilet is being installed tmorrow. All staff were professional and friendly and prices were reasonable.

We recently found ourselves in need of a new natural gas hot water heater, and we were in a bit of a hurry to get it. I actually ended up getting connected with Pratt's through Lowes in Lacey - I bought the water heater there and they setup the appointment with their local plumber, which happened to be Pratt's.

Since I didn't have the opportunity to pick out the plumber myself I was a little bit nervous about who I might get. I was pleasantly surprised. They called about an hour before the start of the 2 hour window Lowes told me they were expected to arrive to see if it was ok if they came early. They were organized, professional, and clearly very knowledgable. They worked quickly, but with attention to detail (fast did not mean careless with them) and were completely done in just a couple hours.

If you are going to go through a store like Lowes or Home Depot in the Lacey/Olympia area, go to Lowes on Yelm Highway so you get setup with these guys. And if you need a plumber for something else give them a call!
