Prater Plumbing is AMAZING! They have provided high quality, efficient and timely work. I had water damage in my home and the staff understood and took the time to explain their work. They even go above and beyond after the job is finished! They walked me through the steps so I felt comfortable with everything. They are prompt, reliable, kind , extremely knowledgeable and have consistently provided high quality work at my home. Thank you all - Sal, Christian and Cody you gentlemen are fantastic!! So sad Prater Plumbing was one of my first introductions to Ventura and the service was consistently subpar.

1. The plumber Co$& installed the large, front loading washer and dryer and DID NOT level the washer nor the dryer. I pushed both with one finger and both tipped. I called him back before he left and asked that he level them.
2. The plumber Co$& DID NOT turn on the gas to ensure the dryer would dry clothes, see picture. I asked him before he left if the dryer was working. He laughed at my question and said yes. Well it turned ""ON"" via the electrical plug, but could not dry clothes due to lack of gas.
3. After running the washer after the two plumbers left the washer leaked overnight, see picture. When they sent someone back the next day he said the leak was not from their work, but after he left - no more leak...hmmm. The main office ended up saying that they knew the leak was from their work and was fixed after day 2.

When I called the main office and asked if Sa$ was the owner he said no, he runs the office and schedules the teams.

When I asked to speak to the owner, Sa$ said he was part owner. What?

Finally, Prater plumbing kept asking me to book a follow up service with them, which I declined twice as I was concerned by their lack of professionalism and quality work and THEY still sent someone out to my house with no confirmed appointment which felt very uncomfortable and violated my privacy.

My friends have asked for the name of the company to ensure they never call them. :( so sad.

First and foremost Sal is absolutely amazing!. He came out and gave us an estimate for free, he is also very professional and passionate about what he does. I have too many nice things to say about this company to fit into this review. I highly recommend Prater Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

What a great experience. I contacted Prater Plumbing to fix my clogged drain in Camarillo. I don't think I've ever called a service person who was nicer than Sal. This young guy exudes friendliness.

When he got here, his amiable nature and professionalism painted the picture of a fellow who loves his job and life.

At first, he failed to clear the tough clog in the pipes. But he insisted on trying again, and then when that failed, he tried a third time...I myself was ready to give up and pay him for his time. But he kept at it, and where another company had failed to clear the drain, he eventually succeeded. His work ethic kept him on the job until it was done.

Doesn't it feel good to use Yelp for positive reviews instead of complaints? This one was easy to write. I'm very happy right now.

Now I have a working sink.

Had a emergency at my home. The kitchen faucet was leaking and created a mess in our house. Prater came in and took care of it right away. They were knowledgeable and professional. Thank you for your help.

Water filter system was leaking all heavily under my sink. I called them and in 1/2 hour, Sal was here. He fixed the problem at a reasonable price. He used gloves, mask and shoe protectors before entering the house. So thankful for their fast response
