Had been giving them quite a bit of business over the last two years but unfortunately will probably look elsewhere in the future. The last time was for a simple issue and we were charged $100 more than previous service call (more were done at that visit).

I wrote a 5 star review a few years ago. I called them again this morning due to my hot water heater not heating. Although their office is in Santa Rosa, they were here (Petaluma) within two hours. They diagnosed the problem within minutes and were back here in another two hours to make the repair. From working with their office to their actual service team (the owners), Prado's is honest and reliable. I strongly recommend them for all your water cooler, furnace, etc. needs. They've been my 'go to' for years and have never let me down -- not even a little bit. It's hard to find reliable and honest companies, and this one beats them all! Thank you Einar and Livia!!! This girl's about to take a nice HOT shower!

We had a very positive experience with Livia and Einar from Prado's Plumbing. It's hard to find reliable people today. It's a great feeling to have someone who is very honest, reliable and trustworthy plus have the knowledge that Einar has in replacing our heater. My experience with Prados Plumbing is quite different than the postings I'm seeing.
I remodeled my home and had Prados come out to replace our water heater. We talked about many options, like tankless and so on.
Eenar the owner after a long explanation recommended we go with a power vent, which is very energy efficient. This system required me to replace the burner for the house heater and replace with a radiator that the power vent would feed water into thus heating the home. The problem I'm experiencing is when the heater to the home is turned on, the hot water in the home is then going cold. He came out and tried fixing it by adding a electronic brain board which has not solved the problem. They refuse to do anything else to remediate this problem and accuse me of being difficult. Im sorry I just want a system that works as was intended. It is Prados responsibility to make it right and they refuse. My experience with Prados is anything but professional ! Im honestly a bit suspicious on how they achieved these ratings.
As you can surmise, I'm very dissatisfied with this company!!!!

We've had a 20 year old furnace going on the fritz (starting in the coldest part of Dec) and since we had a home warranty for repairs we called the warranty co. who dispatched Einar. We were without heat for a couple of days and the amazing Livia worked wonders getting a needed part to repair the furnace (warranty co. was not too upset that our house was 41 degrees at nite, said we might have to wait a week). We were wowed at that time! But the poor furnace continued to start and stop and now it's the end of April and it has gone to the great furnace graveyard. Thankfully our warranty co. dispatched Einar and Jacob to our rescue again. We have a wonderful new furnace, duct work sealed by Jacob that the HERS testing engineer said exceeded efficiency standards for new homes (our 20 year old duct work passed with flying colors). Can't say enough good things about these folks, they took their time to do a first rate job, were the cleanest contractors we've ever had in the house (been remodeling for 3 years) and if I could give 10 starts I would.

I needed some plumbing work done awhile back. I saw Prado's Plumbing doing some work across the street. I walked over and talked with Einar. After finishing across the street Einar came over and fixed my problem. Recently I needed the sewer line replaced from my house to the street. Einar and Jacob replaced the line quickly and for a fair price. Einar, Jacob, and Livia were very pleasant to work with. I recommend them highly.

I discovered Einar & Livia a year ago when I was renting a house and my mother accidentally slid off the toilet (not kidding) and fell between the tub and toilet - breaking the toilet off it's base and crushing it. I am actually not kidding! (She was just fine - but worried about the damage! ) My husband ran to Home Depot to get another toilet like the one broken (there was only one left). I called Prado's, talked to Livia and told her what happened. I told her it was extremely important for my elderly mother to know the situation could be fixed immediately. She dispatched Einar and his assistant immediately! Within 30 minutes the old toilet was out of sight, the new toilet installed - and all the other toilets in the house were checked to make sure they were balanced, solid and sealed to the tile. Einar went the extra mile to ensure my mother felt (and actually WAS) safe in our home. He then proceeded to issue me a bill that was MUCH LESS than I expected (which my mother insisted that SHE pay).
So, here I was 3 weeks ago; my husband & I just bought a new-to-us built-in-1973 house and wanted to install a Ecobee thermostat. My 1994 heater had no common (24v) line running to it. Livia - once again - dispatched Einar...who came out, did the job and left...charging much less for his time than I thought the job was worth!
Well, fast forward to today. I'm now shopping for a new HVAC system. I called Livia and Einar is on his way to give me a quote!
See? He does the little things - with great care - and he gets the big jobs when they come along!
I cannot say enough about how good this company is!

Jacob from Prado's did a great job replacing a couple of angle valves under my sink. He was courteous and efficient, and really easy to work with. Will definitely use them again!

I'd been notified by the City of Santa Rosa that my usage was exceeding normal but I couldn't find any loose fittings in any sink valves, no sticking toilet tank refill pumps, no dripping faucets - nothing. Eventually I figured out that it was a leak in the lawn irrigation system. Prado was quick, efficient, honest, and cost-effective. They are now my go-to for any issues like this in the future. Cannot recommend highly enough.
