Janet was amazing but beware of the new owners or you may end up like me and pay over $800 to replace a garbage disposal.

The contractor came out to replace toilet seal. The toilet was already removed. Charged 3 hours for the job which in past was done by other company in less than hour. I wont recommend them to anyone.

Thanks for the refund, Sean. As I told you on NextDoor, I didn't call Powers to make the appointment (did it online on your website) so there couldn't possibly be a recorded call, as you claim, where I was told anything about pricing or rates. That never happened. You should check your records before you make assertions that effectively say a customer is lying.
Powers never responded to the several phone messages I left after this debacle happened, never responded to the long, detailed letter I sent TWICE. I only got your attention when I posted this review, the one on NextDoor and, specifically, when I disputed the charge with Chase Visa.

If you have a challenging plumbing issue, these are the guys to go with. They're professional, stick by their quotes and stay until the job is completely done to your satisfaction. You'll sleep well at night knowing things were done correctly.

I have patronized Powers Plumbing several times in the past, and my experiences have always been positive. My garbage disposal quit working, so I ordered the exact model I wanted from Home Depot. The day it was delivered, I called Powers to see if they could install it ASAP. The following day, their plumbing technician Diego arrived, on time. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and got right to work. He removed all the old parts, asked me my preference on type of drain stopper to fit in adjoining sink, and then efficiently installed new disposal with no problems. Total time: about one hour. Cost: very reasonable $250. A month later, my new disposal is working great. I will definitely call Powers Plumbing for future needs.

Was friendly prompt honest and reliable.
Removed old decaying pool solar system as it couldn't be repaired. Good work.

$264 for a brief (under 30 minutes) diagnostic that advised us we needed to replace our toilet.
$500 to install the toilet that we purchased from Home Depot. Two visits were required because the toilet leaked after the first attempt at installation.
$764 total bill to diagnose a problem and install a new toilet. Does not include the cost of the toilet itself.

PLEASE BEWARE!!! I purchased a cartridge Delta RP46074 for $201.51. I had my person place this in the shower, and it didn't work. He decided to go to HomeDepot and purchased exactly the same thing for $40.00, and it worked perfect. I immediately called the Sales Person within an hour after the purchased. I told him, it did not work. He advised me, they usually don't take thing back. He informed me ""We don't take things back. We are not a Home Depot!!! However, he would check with the owner. He called me back and told me I could bring it back but would be charged a $70.00 restocking fee. I thought this was outrageous!!! I told him it didn't work!!! Now, they are going to re-sell it to someone else. By the way, the package was already opened when I purchased it. The person informed me it was in back of a truck and from all the bouncing around and being in the sun, it caused the plastic to crack. Think about it!!! This is a plastic devise with rubber!!! It was most likely ruined in the back of the truck from all the sun hitting it. By the way, I did record our conversation.

I wish there was a zero or negative star rating. Use these guys at your own risk. I had a slow drain cleared last Fri. That service ended up clogging my line and flooding my kitchen floor. I called that night for them to come back out and got a recall appt at 8-10 the next morning. after 10 I texted to make sure I was still on the schedule and was told they don't work weekends or holidays but could come out on Tues. apparently the people who answer their phones aren't aware of their work schedule. today they came back and fixed it and charged me another dispatch fee and are trying to charge me twice as much as the first time for the work performed. they don't stand by their work, they don't tell there isn't a warranty on it. they don't tell you it will cost you more to fix it correctly. I am incensed. I don't know how they stay in business.

I recently got a new 50 gallon water heater and was happy with the customer service by the operations manager Crystal who organized the installation, and also the owner/installer Jason who came out first to assess what was needed, and then returned with an assistant to install the new water heater and closet.
