Problem it was terrible smell on the basement, I called 2 company today and talked with them, but they don't want to come, I called the PowerFlo today 9:30pm and wasn't sure they will pick up the phone, I thought maybe voicemail, but somebody pick up the phone and about 1/2 hour they are appeared. I talked with 2 guys, one name is John, they were both professional, knowledgeable and friendly and they told me sewer trap cover is the problem and has to be replace even they didn't charge anything. This smell is bothering me more than one month and they diagnose the problem in a second. If you need any sewer or plumping job they are the best on Island. Thank you guys again.

I have used Powerflo in the past for cleaning out my sewer line every so often. It's been a while. Today, I had two bad experiences with two separate Plumbing Services on the Island today.

Something told me to go look at the magnet that I keep on kitchen fridge to call these guys to help me with my KITCHEN sink. Good thing I did. Everyone else gone home. People telling me they can come on Monday. One said he couldn't help me tomorrow (Friday or over the weekend). Yes....Roto Rooter couldn't even show up!

In comes Jimmy from PowerFlo. THIS YOUNG MAN USED HIS BRAINS and brawn to find out the source of a hard to clear kitchen sink. I told him the first plumbing company tried but failed to clear it with a snake.

Jimmy is excellent. Not only will they get all of my sewer clean up business, but they will be called for simple things like drain cleaning too. This was a pretty stubborn one to fix. Jimmy told me he wasn't gonna leave me out in the cold with no working kitchen sink.

I recommend this company and Jimmy! Professional honest people. THESE ARE MY KIND OF STATEN ISLAND PEOPLE!!!!

The first sewer company I called told me there were roots in my sewer line that could absolutely not be removed. They recommended that I replace the entire line and referred me to a company that quoted $20 THOUSAND for the job.

Today we had to call PowerFlo Sewer Service,
and we met Victor Calvo from the service to fix our problem at our home location.
Victor was extremely attentive to our situations, and respected the home making sure everything was covered and protected and perfectly understood the home owners requests.
An extremely respectful worker that explained everything in a clear concise
and detail manner. Making sure everyone understood the problem and what he was doing to fix it. Communication skills are excellent with everyone.
Victor was extremely respectful of the property and went above and beyond with that respect.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
And if you can, try to get Victor Calvo to serve your needs.

Hi. Called PowerFlo for a Sewer backup the end of February, all went great. Then decided to get the Camera inspection done. Tom their technician came out and was early waiting in front of my home. Went out to greet him, then the work began. Tom is respectful, knowledgeable and truly Experienced. He did the camera inspection work and went through the Trap through the cast iron pipe leading into my Clay pipe out to the sewer connection. He gave me great news that none of the pipes were broken and no tree Roots were penetrating the piping. Clean effective and a definitive way of knowing if a problem exists, 100%. DO NOT EVER CALL OR USE THESE PEOPLE AND MAKE SURE HOME SERVE ASSIGNS SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU CAN FOR YOUR ISSUE
. Even home serve said they should have called them before this amateur did what he did . I don't know much about plumbing but had a leak coming from my standing shower but it was A very small leak from a specific area. Guy comes first thing before he even goes upstairs to check the shower out and look around he is like I have to make a whole through a ceiling to better look at everything , I am like u don't want to check upstairs first ... he is like yea sure but it wont Matter . Guy makes a huge hole in my ceiling and checks and goes like i don't see anything leaking and legit tells me idk what it is but keep looking though the hole to find out . He pretty much leaves and makes me sign a paper saying you have to fix the hole in the ceiling on your own . He made it seem When he came in this is the only way or this won't work , he reported to home serve that it was Silicone that needed to be done at the bottom of the shower but he told me he legit doesn't know and I can try but he is not sure . Now I have a hole in my ceiling and no solution and have 2 problems instead of one . I called 2 professional plumber after and they both stated that this was complete BS and that before they open a hole this big they would run a snake camera first through a pin needle size hole and run a couple of tests and check a couple of things before messing up my sheet rock like this . PLEASE DONT EVER USE AND CALL SOMONE ELSE TO SAVE THE HEADACHE ANS MONEY

I have a contract with HomeServe. I had a plumbing problem and called. They sent PowerFlo. Technician very polite and explained and showed me the problem. A cracked outflow pipe. I was told PowerFlow would follow up with me the next day to arrange repair. Two days later I HAD TO CALL THEM. I received no text, no email (they did say they tried to call my cell). The closet available date to fix the bathroom pipe was the following week! WHAT??? What am I paying for? I'm hoping this is an isolated incident. I would not recommend HomeServe or PowerFlo.

I was referred to them by a work colleague and they sent a technician Anthony who did an amazing job clearing all drains and getting everything running smoothly. My basement had a sewer back up . Power Flo came in a timely manner and addressed my problem . Victor was my tech very knowledgeable,clean up and fixed my problem. Will definitely use power Flo again.
