I called this co after the rave reviews given on yelp.
I had another plumber come out to check over everything before I had a tenant move into my condo (you can check my reviews to find this dbag). This guy went in the wall and created a leak behind the faucet (without me knowing) and told me that there was some piece he needed to purchase for $25 but the job would cost me $350. I told him that I'd get back to him. Of course he began calling once a week asking if I needed him yet (basically, since he knew what he had done). Low and behold, I get a call from my tenant a few days ago telling me that water had mysteriously started to seep from the flooring and the condo owner below said that it is also leaking into her unit!!! Imagine how furious I was!!!!
I called Power and explained the situation. She told me that she was booked solid but wanted to help me out! She referred me to like a Plumbers Association that gave me 3 numbers to HONEST plumbers in my area. I had one of those guys come out and he showed me exactly what the other guy had done and I did NOT tell him the story, i simply said that there was a leak and he checked everything and found the issue himself.

These guys are great! After the huge rainstorm we had in Chicago 3 weeks ago, we had some water damage in our basement. I made an emergency call to these guys that morning to come check the pump in our basement to make sure it was working properly. They came over to my house to check the pump the same day that I called them! Levon was so great! He not only checked the pump, but he took the time to show me how to check it myself to make sure it was working correctly! Both Levon and Raymond also took time out of their day to speak with our insurance company about the claim as well. This is the first time I have ever reviewed a business on Yelp, and it is because these guys have been more than helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

Our condo building had an emergency flood in our storage area on a Thursday at 9pm. I saw Power on Yelp and gave them a call. They responded quickly, came out and did the job quickly and efficiently and with a sense of humor. John and Bob know their stuff and take the time to explain exactly what they're doing. We had another emergency on a Sunday night, and Mike called back within 5 minutes of my calling their answering service. Then just today we had scheduled routine maintenance done, John and Bob again. John even called me after they had left because he had forgotten to give me a number for a disaster clean up company! Love these guys!!

We only use Power Plumbing for work on our condo, and for the common areas of our 6-condo building if I can help it. I'm a home inspector and they're the company I recommend to clients as well. I don't get money or discounts for referrals, and I'm not affiliated with Power. They arrive on time, do good work, and charge reasonable prices. They're also willing to take the time to explain what they're doing and why,

I had power back out last week to replace a sewer ejector pump. It was an unpleasant job in a tight space, but Mike B did a stellar job, and the pump they supplied was top of the line. I continue to recommend this company.

I called for a second opinion before turning off the entire condo bldg water off (don't trust P-PLUMBING.com who gave me false information). Turns out my toilet problem was a result of sediment build up because of all the other condo bldg water shut offs and not a leaking valve as the prior plumber insisted was the problem. David did a great job and had the right supplies on hand to fix the problem. We're all captive to having to pay big plumbing bucks so hard to shell out $179 for 1.25 hrs of work but what choice do we have if we want to have a working toilet?

These guys were awesome. I had sewer problems and rats. Had to tear up the whole kitchen floor and dig under the house. The whole ordeal took a month and half to get resolved. Through it all these guys were super professional with great advice and sense of humour. They explained all the issues and options thoroughly. Sewer is fixed, kitchen back to normal and rats are gone.

In summary, plumber took too long (about 1.5 hours) to take apart a Kohler shower faucet. On top of that tried to convince me that I should have them go get a replacement part (which they markup 30% or more and the time) when they knew that Kohler has lifetime warranty on most parts. This is the problem with union workers that are under pressure to overcharge to make up for their union dues. Small businesses need to learn that customer service is key to long term prosperity.
