My understanding is that this business purchased Wid's Plumbing, who my family had previously always (happily), done business with. However, Wid retired, leaving us in a loop!
We have a high volume of plumbing needs, as my father owns a car wash in down town slo.
Fast forward to last evening, 06.23.21, a friend of mine was over helping with dog care & noticed that my water heater was leaking. I called my father, he called Power Plumbing this morning, and they came out about 11:00am to replace my water heater.
I have 2 rambunctious Pit Bulls. I introduced myself & both dogs to the plumber, explained that I'd keep them indoors until he was done, and explained where the water heater is.
I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN.
He never told me what he had done, or even that he was done and leaving..
Is that good business?
Thankfully my father is closing the car wash on June 30th, and I'll never have to refer anyone to a plumber again!
God I miss Wid!!!

PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, KNOWLEDGEABLE, REASONABLE RATES!!

We live in a house that has a (high pressure) sewage lift station using Liberty pump system. I wish we had found Power Plumbing sooner!!! Extremely knowledgeable on home sewage pump systems / lift stations.

Before contacting Power Plumbing we had called nearly twenty plumbing business serving SLO each and every time being told that the business either did not work on pumps/lift stations, referred to other plumbers that also did not or would not work on lift systems or leaving messages that were not returned. It was extremely frustrating.

Power plumbing arrived as scheduled with in 24 hours of first call. Was professional, worked efficiently and was honest and fair. With the situation we had, one pump not working on a alternating two pump system and malfunction of the auto pump on and off auto switching I was worried this could be a very costly repair. The plumber fairly quickly was able to find we had one bad pump switch and one bad mercury switch, a much more reasonable repair than I was afraid it could have been. I could have easily been overcharge for un-necessary work and not even known, but Power Plumbing was fast to diagnose, got necessary replacement parts locally same day and charged me a very reasonable price.

So impressed I had the plumber look at another low priority plumbing issue I had been avoiding to address and was given a very reasonable quote for the job.

So impressed with Power Plumbing's knowledge, honesty, and very fair rates I will only be using them for my future plumbing needs.

Toilets would not work. Not a pretty sight. Called Power Plumbing, Kevin came out to our place, pulled the covers off the septic tanks, assured us that the problem looked like a relatively easy fix, and it was...one of our visitors had flushed a wet wipe...bad bad bad company...clogged up our old mobile home pipes. Kevin had given us an estimate and the charge was even less than estimated. He was genuinely happy that the solution was inexpensive and quick and, of course, so were we. Great guy, professional, friendly, couldn't ask for anything more.

I normally don't give 5 stars to anyone, but these guys are great. Our water heater leaked during the night and some water ran into the house. Called Power Plumbing and they came right out. They gave me a temporary solution for hot water. Kevin then knew a professional that could mitigate the water damage and called him for me. GORDON CONSTRUCTION responded and after they dried out area Power Plumbing came out and properly installed the water heater. THANKS FOR THE HELP

With a huge bolt of nearby lightning and a loud clap of thunder, Randy the Plumber arrived at 4:15pm like a superhero from Power Plumbing! An impressive entrance! We know he must have already had a long and busy day by the time he arrived, it was pelting rain all day! But Randy didn't rush, he explained things, did a quick, neat, and efficient job of installing a gas dryer, and by doing so really did save our day! I'd call that Super, wouldn't you? Will call again! No need for a special signal, they promptly answer their phone and get to you as quickly as possible. These days that's beyond super! ~SHE

A great experience. Called Friday afternoon for AC service. They came out Saturday at regular price and checked it out. Made a small adjustment and good to go. Polite. Competent. Fair.

WOKE UP TO A DISASTER IN A STORM . Shocked to find hot steamy water feverishly mingling with cold stormy rain water...what the... Water heater died. Saturday. Called most of the places opened on weekend Listed online got only vmail.

UNTIL the angel of a dispatcher, Jim answered the phone. A real live human being voice from a human mouth in real time!!! He let me know Kevin would be out within an hour. He was here in 45 minutes!!

I suspected the estimate to be 75% more being a small town and a weekend. SWEET. Way cheaper than what my brother paid for a new furnace in this area on a week day with an appointment with another company A year ago.

Kevin the Plumber, was extremely professional and efficient; plus my dog liked him. I now Have a rocking ""Star Wars"" type water heater with lots of fancy things like an oil catcher so if it ever explodes it won't poison the water on our planet. One year labor guarantee and six year furnace warrantee.

I have found my bff plumbers. Happy Valentine's Weekend!!

We had what seemed like a problem with a seal on our toilet that turned out to be much worst. Randy the tech that came to the house was quick to diagnose and come up with a sound plan of attack. He finished the job the same day, had everything working again better than ever.
Had Randy not been as diligent as he was I am sure we would have had bigger issues down the road.
