These folks provided wonderful, professional and quick response to my leaking water heater problem.
Very professional and hard-working plumbers that got right to work upon arrival on a difficult to access attic water heater replacement job and finished in about 2 hours and took great care to clean up afterward and not make a mess in the house in the process of carrying the old leaky tank out. Would definitely recommend and use these great folks again.

I am so very pleased by the work performed at our house today by Portsmouth Plumbing. We had an extremely slow drain on the guest bathtub. I had used a different company about two years ago and the only thing they did was snake a little bit of hair out of the drain. Today, the plumber determined the drain was almost totally blocked and he even discovered a small leak we had under the house! Everything was taken care of and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs!

I just had two men laughing in my kitchen about how easy the job was and how much they were making off the stop at my house. They were here 10 minutes (5 was getting the payment processed). I was charged $96.50 for a full hour of work. Unbelievable.

I think you need to consider your demeanor if you want a professionals hourly wage. I know there was more work that could have been done to clean my drain for future problems...and there was still 50 minutes on the clock to do it!

It can be a nightmare finding a plumber. Everyone tried to charge an arm and a leg just to clear the drain. I called 5 different companies and all quoted or came out and estimated over 300 to clear the kitchen sink. I called this company and they came right out and did it for a little over 100. I'll be calling them back for any plumbing services I need. Thanks a lot!

I've never had to contact a plumber before so was worried as I've heard more horror than good stories. My experience with Donnie at Portsmouth Plumbing was definitely a good one to write about! We had to reschedule our original appointment due to an emergency, but he was very apologetic. For our new appointment he arrived on time, was able to diagnose the problem with my two toilets quickly and fixed it faster than I thought possible! His prices were more than fair, definitely not the arm and leg I was afraid of!
