I came home yesterday after having to work through Hurricane Ian for 3 days straight (staying at work). I got home and there was no issues at the house. Two hours after getting home, my water stopped running. It was not storm related, but I was concerned because I knew all of these companies would be slammed after the storm. I called and they were closed yesterday. I left a message with the answering service and received a call back at 7:30m this morning. They were out here and fixed the problem by 8:30. They replaced one part that was the problem, another part that was old and worn (I could even tell by looking at it that it's time was limited, it was very rusted and corroded) and replaced some broken PVC. The tech (Jesse) was knowledgable and professional. With all of that work, it was only a little over $300.00. If you ever need well work, call these people first!!! I can't say enough good things about them.

At about 1 p.m. my well pump went out. Danny with Pope's Well Drilling was at my house by 2:30 p.m.. By 3 p.m. he fixed the problem and three others I didn't know I had. Fast, friendly, and fair. What more do you need?

Caution, some of their weekend techs are lacking in trouble shooting skills. My pressure cut off was not working correctly, A 20 dollar part, he gave it a once over and said it was the main pump motor..600 dollar part plus labor. When he put a new one in and it didnt work, he called someone who helped him troubleshoot over the phone. He acted like the pump was still bad, it was not. 670 dollar bill, paid him on the spot. Later about a year later I visited Popes looking for a tank, I mentioned this whole thing to the Main Man and owner, he said he would look into it and get back to me. He never did. This is the kind of business they are. Get the money and run. My old pump worked great, it is now my back up. I gave them one star because you cant give them any lower

I was experiencing low water volume from my well so I called Popes. They had a technician come out the same day and checked my pump which was working properly. Without further trouble shooting, they called me after the visit and said I needed a new well. They said it might cost about $9000 to drill the well and I asked them to send me a proposal. It has been nearly 3 weeks and I still have not heard from them. After waiting 2 weeks I called another well company who responded immediately, properly diagnosed the problem, installed a new submersible pump in my existing well and we now have a good supply of water. The bill for the work was $2800. I am not satisfied at all with Popes and do not recommend them.

Timely response to my call to report my pump issues. Supplied me with a quote and got my job scheduled ASAP. Pricing was fair. The crew that was sent out were very professional and got right to the job. Will absolutely recommend them and use them again.
